These are awesome boots but are they ever small. I have worn a 6 in Frye boots since college but I went up a half size per everyone's suggestion. I guess I have high arches because I could not even get my foot in the boot. I am going to try a 7, which I have never worn, but I am afraid that these great boots will not work for me. Just a heads up to other people with high arches.

I love these boots. I would marry these boots if it were legal. I have problem feet (bunionettes, falling arches, hammer toes, and so forth), yet I refuse to resign myself to granny shoes. I usually stick with the more orthopedic European brands, but I decided to take a chance on these - and boy am I glad I did. The leather is as soft as butter, and it only took a weekend and a few spritzes of leather stretching solution to break them in. I have a narrow heel and very wide toe box. While the middle of the boot (where the extra stitching is) was a bit snug at first, my forefoot never felt constricted. The heel is about as high as I am willing to go, but they are very comfortable despite the height. I did note the lack of arch support, but I put in some stick-on arch supports and they were good to go!

I saw these and was immediately obsessed. Lots of the reviews say these run small but I took a chance on a size 9.5 when I usually wear a 10 and they fit great! The buckles actually do adjust the fit of the uppers so that's nice. And I LOVE the side zip. I got the brown suede and it's very soft and floppy. I'm worried it's a little thin compared to the very substantial sole. I have high arches and a problem with the ball of my left foot and these were a bit uncomfortable on. I tried putting in an arch support and ball of foot support and those did help. I think I need to find some better ones and attach them permanently. The heel isn't too high though which I'm excited about. Just have to figure out what insoles to add!

Oh my gosh - I absolutely love the look and feel AND style of these boots - they are worth every penny - so well made - will last a very long time and are extremely stylish - the buckles are great quality as is the rest of the boot - they are durable and can be dressed up a bit but also great for casual outings and daily use! I cannot recommend these boots enough.

LOVE the look of these boots! The big buckle is so stylish. Great quality and craftsmanship. Would love to own these BUT the heel is just too high for me. Damn, I had to return. Frowny face.

Love the look of these boots. The first time I wore them, I was on my feet for six hours and my feet didn't hurt at all. They are a bit clunkier than I'm used to, but I think that's the look. Overall, I would definitely buy these again.

I own these in tan and just got the black smooth leather. Made in USA which are top quality compared to Chinese made Frye's. All leather, great smell, and rare leather stacked heel which feels cushiony compared to wood or plastic wrapped heels. I add pedag Holiday arch support. Comfortable right out of box. I have Bunga ankle sleeves for any boot with a rub comfort issue but haven't needed them with these. I notice a huge jump in quality when you get hop up from the $275 range to the $400 price range and made in USA or Mexico when it comes to Frye. You get what you pay for. Love these boots! They will never wear out!! So street-style chic!

These boots are true to size - a bit stiff but I think that's just how Frye boots are - I'm hoping they relax with wear - love the style!

I've gotten so many compliments on these boots!

I wanted these for years. I wanted them in the light brown color, but those aren’t available anymore. I decided to try the black. The quality is unbelievable, I can tell these will last for years. They broke in in a day. They make my legs look long and amazing with skinny jeans and the large buckles are rad. I’m keeping them and will wear them all the time, but I think they’re a tad overpriced (in spite of excellent quality). They have them in other colors for cheaper on 6pm. But I wanted black. Ugh, I shouldn’t complain, they’re really beautiful.

I thought their being called “black veg” meant they were vegan. They’re not vegan, they smell like leather. I held out too long on getting the saddle Sabrina double buckle, so I finally decided to splurge on the black ones. At first I thought they were too big but after wearing them around I remembered that our feet swell when we walk and they fit perfectly. I am an 8.5 and always get a 9 in Frye boots. I was also afraid these would look “witchy,” which is such a trend and maybe they do a little bit but they are so sexy and I feel like I’m conquering the world walking around in them. Such beautiful boots, I’m glad I made the splurge.

I have been wanting to have Frye boots for the longest time and couldn’t find one. Either they were too big, too bulky for my taste or too masculine. This one fit the bill in every way. Yes it’s still a bit bulky and heavy but it looks great. Love it so much that I got two.
