My boyfriend, who has metal plates keeping his right foot together after a cliffjumping accident a few years ago, really likes these shoes. He has really high arches, wide feet, and one "robot foot" and he hates all shoes. These, he likes. That's saying a lot.

Great pair of boots! This is one of the best purchases I have ever made towards shoes. Comfort and style are great - these boots don't even need to be broken in! Perfect for everyday, casual wear, but also work well with dressier styles. The first pair I ordered were defective (the tongue was sewed on incorrectly) - I didn't notice until after a few weeks of wearing them (the tongue kept sliding all the way over to the side while walking). I contacted Zappos and they replaced them for free, no questions asked!

These boots are great! I was a bit worried when I got them, they were a bit tight and I had read they ran small. I had even gotten a size 11 EE (I'm normally 10.5) and the still felt tight. But after a few days the molded to my feet and now fit like a dream. These are some of the best shoes I've ever owned and will be getting something from this brand again.

As someone who's never really spent money on high quality shoes, these boots are the best I've ever owned. They're sturdy, look great, feel well constructed, and fit well - for the most part. They lack in arch support, and I found the insole in the left shoe really didn't conform to my foot very well at first. This is likely my foot's fault more than the shoe, but I will agree with others who say these boots tend to run on the narrower side.
However, now that they're more broken in, they feel great, and I'd highly recommend them to anyone - but be aware of how wide your feet are, and opt for the wider option if needed.

I ordered these boots for my husband for a trip to Colorado. We live in Florida so I was trying to find a shoe that would work well in cold climates and maybe even snow. He LOVED these! He though he might have preferred the wide option, but since he was flying out the next day, he decided to rock the regular version. The leather opened up nicely and in the end was very happy with what he got. They look really good on him.

I was gifted these over two years ago for my birthday. They didn't take long to wear in and are super comfortable. I am on my feet all day and wear these pretty much every day since I received them. Very little visible wear to them even two years later.

These are great boots. I have read on other sites that they tend to run narrow, and I have wide feet, so I went with 10W to try them out. They are a good fit, but a little more in the way of width would have been nice. Since the lower part of the sides is leather it will work itself out with wear, so I am not worried. Otherwise the fit and finish are sweet. I am looking forward to getting some miles on them.

Worn for about a week or so. Made in China but appears well constructed. Expect this to be a durable shoe. Adequate support with well designed foot bedding. Feels a little heavy on the foot but I not accustomed to wearing boots. Overall I rate this a buy.

My husband has a damaged let from a military parachuting accident. It is so hard to find substantial shoes that he can wear that are soft. We ordered these in W which helped with getting them on. They are soft inside and really help with having a shoe he can walk out in the woods.

The Ariat Men's Lookout Boot has quickly become one of my go-to pairs for both work and casual wear. Right out of the box, the comfort level stood out- no break-in needed, which is rare for a boot this tough. The leather feels premium and holds up well against scuffs and daily wear. The grip on the outsole is solid, whether I'm walking through dirt or slick pavement. They've got a clean, rugged look that works great with jeans or uniform pants. My only gripe is that they run a bit warm on long days, especially in the summer. Still, the support and craftsmanship make them worth it. Overall, they're reliable, durable, and stylish- exactly what I expect from Ariat.

Great fit and true to size. Very comfortable and looks great with jeans or casual wear. The only issue I had was that one of the grommets came apart from the shoe. This happened after only wearing the shoe twice, so disappointing. I ended up needing to take the shoe to a repair shop and have it replaced.
