I really liked these boots after purchasing them. They were originally intended for use at my prior job but the purpose never developed. They ended up sitting in my closet after having worn 2 or 3 times. This past spring I started using them outdoors at my small property doing various chores. After 4 or 5 months of use they are coming apart. The adhesive has failed and the soles are literally falling off on both boots rendering them useless.

I cannot say much about the boot. I couldn't wear it from the start because of the composite toe. It didn't feel wide at all. The overall appearance of the materials of the boot looked good and of high quality. I liked the way they looked, but that safety toe needs to be wider, or have a WIDER option.

Look good, ordered EE for my flippers of feet. Hard to find a good wider steel toe, but these are a perfect fit

Thought these boots would work out and be amazing. Within 3 months of very limited use they are not holding up. The boots are comfortable and look amazing but they are not durable. The bottom is falling apart. The leather will outlast the bottom by far. Now they are garden/lawn mowing shoes. Purchased them from the local Runnings store.

I bought these shoes but the quality of the insole is not good, it lasted a couple of months and they deteriorated, while the leather was like new.

Metal piece that the laces go around to lace up the boot came completely off after ONE time at work. Barely did anything but walk around too. Super disappointed about this. Too expensive to be low quality

Pretty decent construction, composite toe is nice and light but still very strong, I had to move a 700lb safe yesterday and the composite toes had no issue holding some of the weight. Fairly comfortable although more support would be ideal. I like my boots tight, if you do as well I recommend a half size down. They are roomy otherwise.

Ill start w/3 stars. I havent owned these long enough. Having mostly worn logger boots (Carolinas), which are generally comfortable (to me) and require little breaking in, I will say while these Carhartt boots look nice, Ive already got blisters on my heels. The soles appear to be attached with glue or adhesive, as opposed to stitching (like the loggers), so again, time will tell how durable these are. I purchased them because they were the only uninsulated, composite toe boot that came in the color black, making them in compliance with my jobs uniform requirement. The other brands composite toe boots were either brown (not black, which I need for compliance) and composite toe, or they were insulated - WAY too hot. Also, these Carhartts were manufactured in China, so we shall see. Giving three stars for the brand, but again, well see in a few months if theyve fallen apart

Received less than 24 hours after talking to Oscar in customer service about a previous return of a different brand and Oscar had to take care of a promo discount thru my employer which he did in a matter of minutes I took his advice on the width of these boots fit perfect my overall rating of 3 stars is because my biggest concern is that they are waterproof we will find out tomorrow thanks again Oscar for your help
