My husband loves them!

Haven't bought Birkies for a long time but needed something warm and comfy for dog walking this winter. The clog style is clunky, but great for leaving by the door and slipping into on the way out. My regular size felt too snug so I'm returning them and moving up one size and to regular width instead of narrow like I've bought for the Arizonas. I think they'll be perfect.

I’ve had Birkenstocks for many years. Don’t Find them really stylish but they help with my problematic feet. So I bought these for the winter and they stain my toes black. Don’t want in them barefooted.

Love the shoe.... usually wear a 41 in all styles however this shoe runs small.... going to exchange for a size up

Big fan of Birkenstock’s and thought these would make great slippers. They are very hard to break-in and will take some time. One thing that is odd is the sewn in tag in the middle of the shoe shearling. Otherwise ok!

I ordered these first from Birkenstock directly and got my normal size. Whoa - with the Shearling, I needed a full size larger. They don't come in wide, but I wish they did, because they are a bit uncomfortable right now. I have the Arizonas also, so I'm not worried, the shearling will eventually wear down to fit in the width.

The shoes fit well and were comfortable. I thought they looked too wide which is the main reason I returned them (didn’t like the looks).

I do love the shearling lining and arch support. i wish other colors were available too. I am normally a size 9 and go down to a 39 in Birkenstocks.

Bought these shoes for their shearling warmth. In that respect, worth the purchase. I have always worn a 39 N in all Birkenstock models. This pair was a bit too short, likely because of the shearling addition. If I had to do it over again, I'd order a 39.5 (if such a size exists). 40 would likely be too long for me. True to the Birkenstock reputation and my own lengthy experience with this brand, this style is VERY comfortable. The shearling is very helpful in the cold weather.

love these shoes. I take a 9 wide, but ordered a 40 narrow and it fit just fine. They are so comfortable , not so great on looks, but i'd rather have the comfort. A little pricey, but well worth it.

They are cozy and warm but it takes a little while longer than regular Birkenstocks to get used to. Great quality shoes.

I went back and forth on the size. Should I size up, 40, or buy my normal 39? I went with the 39 and they were tight when I first put them on but after a day or 2 of wearing them, I’m so glad I did. Once the shearling starts molding to your foot they are perfect. I haven’t tried to wear socks with them but they keep your feet so warm that you don’t need socks. I have to take them off and let my feet cool down when I’m in the house. They are super cozy. I love them. All the support you are used to from Birkenstock, and warm and cozy!

Very narrow and a bit tight in toe but I think it will pack down bought size bigger

normally wear a size 37 in birks so ordered a 38. but these felt like the toes are jammed up front and the toe bump isn't in the right spot. too bad - i actually think they're cute! however the width was great. wish the arch were higher.

These shoes fit perfectly and are very comfortable. I bought them to wear to yoga class in the winter. I am normally a medium width ( a bit on the wider side of medium) and the narrow are plenty wide. I recommend the narrow for anyone who is usually a medium width. The only reason I did not give 5 stars overall is that they were clearly tried on and returned by someone else and were shipped without being stuffed before returning, so they arrived a bit crushed. The suede was also a bit scuffed. I brushed them with a suede brush and they look good enough but would have preferred to have them arrive brand spanking new. I kept them anyway because they fit so well I did not want to chance that another pair would not fit as well.

So these run true to size where as with most Birks I can size down. Very nice Birkenstock support and a warm for winter when you hate socks. The only complaints I have is the fleece wears down and out very fast. For the price I would want a little more longevity. Also if you buy the black one there will be dye transfer so your feat will look discolored like a corpse. However the shoes are comfy and warm!

I ordered these because I am a huge fan of Birkenstock sandals in the summer. They are just as comfortable and supportive as my other Birkenstocks. I'm glad I read others' reviews though because they did run a whole size smaller. I'm usually a 40 narrow and ordered a 41 narrow and they fit perfectly. I suspect this is because of the thick wool inside. I bought them to wear as slippers, they are super comfortable and warm but I can also wear them outdoors to run to the store or take out the garbage. They aren't the cutest looking shoes but I'm willing to sacrifice style for how comfortable they are!

I love the coziness of these; I wear them as house slipper and they are perfect for winter. Very soft lining and the suede exterior looks great. I bought them in a narrow width, which I love because they are less "clunky" looking than closed toe Birkenstocks usually look to me. I have many Birkenstocks and I love how they meld to my foot and arch, providing excellent support, however, the Boston Shearling Birks seem much harder/firmer on the footbed and kind of make my legs ache because of it. I surmise the lining prevents the footbed from forming around my foot as easily. I hope they will eventually get "broken in" and feel better to walk around in.

I agree with other reviewers--there was a strange "toe bump" at end of the shoe that was uncomfortable. I tried to order the next size to see if that would resolve the problem, but it was unavailable--was told this is a "seasonal" item. The fleece is really warm and cozy though. Really disappointed---without the toe issue, these would be fabulous slippers/shoes!

I just received my Boston's today. I had to order up a size because of the fur lining. I went from a 40 to a 41 and they feel wonderful. I have a lot of foot problems and my feet hurt a lot. Please provide some comfort and cushion at the same time with proper support. I will be ordering another pair when I can afford them.

These shoes are very soft and warm. They're a little stiff but I assume that will change. They run large--I had to order a size down, plus I have *very* wide feet and although I ordered wide I'm sure I would have been fine with the regular (or narrow or whatever they're called).

OMG. Talk about comfortable! It's amazing what a difference the shearling makes in these shoes. It's like standard Birk comfort on steroids. Fell in love from the first second I put these on. Defiantly worth the extra money from the Boston without the shearling. It's my opinion that Birks aren't big on style, hence the 4 stars, but they are awesome with comfort and convenience.

If only they made these in soft foot beds then the comfort level would be perfect. Great for house slippers. I found they did run a tad bit short so will be getting the next size up. Love Zappos free one day shipping and free return. It's frustrating enough to buy shoes online especially since sizes ranges from shoe to shoe but you can't say no when they have an awesome shipping and return policy.

The heel bed was very narrow and the arch support hit in front of my arch.
