I own two pairs of the Boston shearling. Kept my feet warm and comfortable all fall and winter. All the girls in my family tried and wanted to have a pair for Christmas!

Warm, comfortable, what’s not to love? I ordered my usual 37N and they fit well without socks. I can wear a thin to mid weight wool sock with them, but with the cozy lining, I don’t really need or want to. Was initially worried about water staining with me living in Seattle and having dogs, but thus far, they’ve buffed out. No complaints and I’ve worn them all winter long.

I’m a long time Birkenstock fan. Ordered these on sale at the end of the season because I was tired of having cold feet. These are terrific! Same fit (and size) and comfort as the Birks I’ve always loved, with the added coziness of the shearling. Exactly what I was looking for! Too bad sale price isn’t offered on more colors.

I have terrible feet and these are a great alternative to slippers (especially at the sale price). Narrow size was fine. I usually wear a 9.5. This is a good fit! More supportive than shearling slippers.

I love Birkenstocks, but unfortunately I had to return them. The shoes were very noticeably two different shades. Very disappointed.

I have been wearing Birkenstock for about 30 years, these are the first narrow width I own. They are intended to be slippers so the fit is fine, though if I wanted to wear socks they might be a bit too tight. I think they will loosen up after some wear though. Really happy with the purchase.

These are fantastic! I’m wearing them inside as slippers because I have Achilles tendinitis and need the support. They fit great!

Read the reviews and some say to keep your original size and others say to go up a size. Normally I’m a size 41 in Birkenstock’s so I originally ordered my true to size but when they came they did fit, however, they were a bit snug and my heel didn’t have any extra room. I ended up exchanging them for a size 42 and the fit is so perfect. Still snugg and still the perfect size! The second I opened up the box my mom was walking in and was like “omg I love those, what are they?” And she felt the fur on the inside and oohh’d and ahh’d so I bought her a pair right then too! Love that the suede is super soft and easy to break in.

Love these! Ordered my usual Birkenstock size after reading some reviews when trying to decide if I should size up to account for the Sherpa, but when they arrived they were too small so I exchanged for the next size up. They seem a little bit on the larger side but better than my heel almost hanging off. Comfy and perfect for slipping on and running errands

Even though I've read reviews that said this style was snug and not to order up a size, I did decide to go with a half size larger than my usual Birks. Normally I wear 8.5/39; went to a 9/40. I ordered a Narrow. My arch is high and my heels are narrow, but my toe box is not, so I have trouble getting shoes to fit comfortably. Plus my feet are always cold. These is slightly snug, but I understand that they will stretch out some, and that's going to be fine, I'm sure. Main thing, though, is that these shoes are heaven on my achy feet. Really unbelievably comfortable, supportive, and warm!

I ordered 1 size larger than usual (38 vs 37) as was suggested due to the narrow footbed. Perfect! These are my “house shoes”/slippers. I need arch support beyond what a slipper provides and these are perfect!

LOVE, HAD TO RETURN TOO SMALL!. ALWAYS WEAR A 38N needed a 39 N in this model.

I ordered these in my usual size (40 N) and after wearing a few times, they fit perfectly. The shearling lining does take up a little space at first, but as is conforms to your foot the fit is great. The lining really does add nice warmness, even without socks.

I got my usual size and while they are snug at first, they will stretch comfortably even after a few wearings. I adore them. For me they function as slippers and shoes. I love all the colors too. My only beef is that the black suede doesn't come with white shearling. If they did, I would own every color. BTW these are fantastic for those of us who get the occasional plantar fasciitis/and or fat-pad syndrome flare up. Counterintuitive that a relatively firm negative's heel shoe would be therapeutic, but Birks (and Hoka One One Stimson for exercise walking) cured mine in about 2 weeks.

Feels like a Birkenstock’s shoe. Shearling is cozy and warm. As to sizing, it is true to size WITHOUT SOCKS. With socks, I’d size up for just a little room. I personally like shearling so I don’t have to wear socks, so I ordered my usual size of 37N and it fit just like every other Birkenstock’s shoe I have. Cozy, comfortable—just wish they were cheaper.

I normally wear a 41 in Birkenstock sandals, but in the Boston Shearling I had to go up to a 42 to wear barefoot. I returned the 41s because they were too small, and then received the 42s and the shoes were from two different dye lots and it was quite noticeable so I returned them. As they say, third time is a charm -- I ordered another pair of 42s and they arrived perfectly matching and extremely comfortable! Super happy with Zappos free shipping on returns and super quick shipping when placing an order.

I have worn Birkenstocks for over 20 years, Boston being my very first pair. I could literally wear them all day. They are perfect for plane trips; easy on/off. Plus the great support enables me to comfortably wear them from 5:00 a.m. until way past midnight (time changes). I have an arthritic knee from an injury, and my orthopedic surgeon was thrilled that I wear Birkenstock’s, as the arch support helps keep me from over-pronating and putting less stress on my poor joint. I have always worn a 40 narrow in the Boston, even with my bunions. However, the shearling lined Bostons were a bit short and too narrow for me. My poor bunions were sore after only an hour’s wear, inside, on a carpet. I wore very thin cotton socks, so doubt that made a difference. I exchanged them for the 40 regular width, and though they are a tad shorter than unlined Boston’s, the fit is much better. They keep my feet nice and warm in our short winter. I wear them as slippers all day and I love the fit and color. If you have any foot or knee issues, and need an “inside” shoe or slipper, I would highly recommend the shearling lined Boston. To me, they are worth their weight in gold, and worth the price!

I love these. These are so nice and warm, my toes, which are ALWAYS cold, are NEVER cold in these shoes. So happy I bought them.
