What was unexpected… the shearling lining is not dye fast!!! My bare feet turn Black!!! My white socks turn Black !!

I am typically a 9.5 but ordered a 10 and returned for my usual size. So order your usual size. These are a delight! The sherling is soft. These are worth the price!

I bought the Boston shearling the first year it was out I have a very narrow foot. Narrow is must have in Arizona, Granada and Boston. I was advised to go a size up because of shearling. They kill me--even without socks. The toe box hurts so bad. I'm ordering a new shearling pair in regular width and the same size up. Hope it will be better.

I usually wear a 37 in Birkenstock sandals; however, the 37 in the Boston with the shearling felt too small. I sized up to a 38, and they felt great! I am a teacher, and I’m on my feet all day. These are great for comfort, and I get tons of compliments on them!

I am a consistent 38N in Birkenstock sandals, but I order 39N in closed toe and closed Birks to accommodate socks and because I’m into total, unconfining comfort. The 39N in these fleece-lined wonders is perfect both with and without socks.

This shoe was perfect for me. I wear a 37 Narrow in Birkenstock. I do have some regular but I prefer the narrow as they fit my foot perfectly. I ordered the 37 in these. They are the narrow foot bed. These were perfect. But I can see why others wrote that if you prefer the regular width in Birkenstock’s, these will be snug for you. You do not need to size up if you wear the narrow size. I am glad I didn’t size up. I am glad I purchased my usual size. I would suggest to size up if you do not wear the narrow Birkenstock.

I love this shoe! I stayed with my size and I am glad I did. It does start out tight but after a couple weeks it seemed to fit like my other birks once the shearling flattens out. I have planters fasciitis and after wearing these I have had no issues. I wear them all over and it does great with keeping my feet warm and cozy.

I wear these shoes in the winter. My go to winter shoe! No need for my orthotics. Excellent support. My plantar fasciitis went away wearing these. Super comfortable & warm!!

I love, love this Birkenstock. I am a narrow and I am so excited you have certain styles in narrow. I have the Birkenstocks on right now and just received my brown ones. Recommended size was one up from usual which was perfect with the lining. These are cozy until the shearling on the footbed squashes down and there's no way to replace it without getting a whole new footbed which is expensive. So now I wear socks with these to stay warm. Birkenstock should really find a way to replace the shearling footbed liners easily.

Attractive wintery birks- had some slight issues with one of the shoes being defective chafing me on the top of my foot but the customer service was able to help me resolve the issue. To compare the narrow and the regular width, I have included a pic for reference (midnight blue is narrow, black is regular). I ultimately went with narrow because it’s comfortable, but I have to say the Regular is NOT any roomier than the narrow, which is odd. If you have wide feet, I would pass on this style. If you do wear narrow birk sandals, then this style would work for you. I do adore this midnight blue color.

Very comfortable. Could be more attractive. I am between sizes 37-38 in Gizehs. I originally bought Bostons with fleece in size 38 which were too short. I exchanged for a size 39 which are perfect.

These are beautiful and well made, but alas, too small and too tight for me. I have other same sized Birkenstocks that fit fine. I think these do run smaller and advise others to size up.

Shearling was falling off/shedding and quality seemed cheap. For the price, this does not seem acceptable. Sadly, I must return. I am a Birkenstock fan and bummed out about this quality shift.

I wanted these to work, but even though I sized up they were still ultimately too tight in the toes. I'm normally a size 7M, but I wear a 38 Regular in the Birk Arizona sandals. So I tried these in a 39 because of the added bulk of the shearling and because they only come in narrow. Overall, the footbed was comfortable, and the narrow-ness was not bad for the most part, except for in the toe box area which was just a bit too tight and constricting. It made my toes cold because they were being squished. Maybe that would break in, but I'm not sure.. and for the price, I didn't really want to gamble with it not working. Going up one more size would definitely be too long, so I sent them back. I should mention that this was with a thin sock on; it's too cold where I live to go without socks, but I definitely wasn't wearing my normal thicker wool socks. Ultimately, I bought the Birk Zermatt Shearling slipper in my normal length of 38 (also only comes in Narrow), and the toe area on those fit much better than these ones did even in the larger size. I think if you have a narrow foot and/or don't want to wear socks, this shoe could work? But since I'm used to the wider Birks, these didn't fit as well as the Zermatts. Overall arch support was great. If they would make these available in Regular width, I think it would make all the difference.

I did a lot of experimenting before settling on the size 40 (one size up) shoe in this style. The size 40 was even shorter in the toe than my size 39 Birk sandals. So I tried a size 41 (!!!) which was like wearing dinner plates on my feet. Then I went back to the size 40 and decided they are overall more comfortable, and that it's easier to scrunch toes in a slide than in a sandal. (True confession: I have very long toes!) These shoes came highly recommended from a friend whose problem feet are almost as bad as mine, and I've been wearing them at home pretty comfortably in place of my beloved down slippers, which are totally lacking in structure or support.

These are SO small & tight?? I've always worn the same size in Birkenstock (sandal or clog) these have to go back :(

LOVE my new Shearling Boston Birks! They are so comfy that I sometimes think I forgot to change out of my slippers before leaving the house. Perfect for going to yoga and for post-workouts (recovery). Just enough shearling that they snuggle my foot without suffocating them. I am ordinarily a size 9 (wider foot) and purchased size 40 reg in Taupe. The color coordinates with EVERYTHING. Gets dirty fast though, so I recommend purchasing some suede cleaner and a suede brush.

I love Birkenstocks! They always have my feet feeling good. I have had had two foot surgeries in the past and these clogs make my feet comfortable. I also love Birkenstock variety of shoes. They are designed for arch/feet comfort. I recommend highly

Boston shearling birkenstock Runs small. My grandaughter usually wears a 9 narrow 40, but returned for a 41. They were perfect.

I usually wear a 6 or 6.5 Medium width shoe depending on the brand. With Birkenstock, I wore the Arizona (2-strap sandal) in 35 Narrow, which fit my feet perfectly lengthwise and very well widthwise. Still I figured that with the fluffy lining on these, and if I planned to wear these with thick winter socks on occasion, better to go up in size than down. Particularly because some reviews recommended sizing up or said the width was too narrow. For me, I ordered a 37 Narrow and initially, they fit just right with socks. After a few times wearing to run errands and carpool, the lining has settled and now they're a smidge too long lengthwise (1/2" between the back of my heel and the back lip). Down the line when the current pair I've bought needs to be replaced, I *may* order a 36 Narrow, but otherwise the 37 being a 1/2" too long doesn't bother me.

Perfect fit at my usual size. The shearling makes them feel a little snug at first but that will change with regular wear as it flattens out some. Zero complaints
