I always buy size 40 Birks. This is a 40 narrow which they state works for normal width feet. They width was ok the the sandal was definitely a centimeter shorter. I held it up to 3 other pairs of size 40 and it was shorter. I ordered another pair in 41 but a different shearling color and they were too long. I don’t know if it’s just the nude shearling but the size was off. Had to return all pairs.

I thought the shearling lining was also on the top (inside) of the sandal. It's just the feltish material - - really not very warm.

FYI Birkenstock only release their new Arizona Shearlings in Narrow sizes! They are not sold out of regular sizes. I would recommend ordering your normal size and one size up to see which one fits better. Although sadly I did that, and neither fit! I’m normally a 38 Regular in the Suede Arizona, and a 38 Narrow in the Boston shearling clogs. But I just couldn’t force these two sizes to work. I found the 38 was too tight and the 39 was a bit too loose. If these do fit you, you’re in luck, because they are so cute in real life.

First I am a die hard birkenstock lover/wearer, I own 15 pair most are arizona soft bed. I own regular width and narrow, so i purchased these in my usual size 37, could not believe how narrow they are also shorter, they are trully a AA super narrow and a full size shorter...... wow I am mad!!!!! other than this I would have loved them!!!!!!! Back they go and I don't think I will try a size up either just based on the principal and lack of quality control, it makes me boil!!!! lol!!!!

I wanted to love these Shearling Arizona Birkenstocks, but…The color is lovely, but the “shearling” is nothing like that in my Shearling Zermatt Birkenstocks. Instead, it feels and looks synthetic. Perhaps that’s just from being dyed, but perhaps not, I can’t tell for certain. It seems like it would be too hot for any but the chilliest weather (or house!). Also, I would expect Birkenstock to size these sandals to accommodate the shearling, as they seem to have done in the Zermatt slippers, because my usual size 39 narrow were a little short in this style, yet are plenty roomy in the Zermatt, which have a closed toe. My second toe is longer than my big toe, and it was uncomfortably pressed into the raised edge of this shearling Arizona.

These run so small for my size 10 - 10.5 foot The size 41 wide was too short & too narrow . Best to order up- the shearling might take up too much room inside this sandal- I gave up on this style & pastel color!

First pair of Birkenstocks and while they were plenty supportive I was surprised to find they were like walking on rocks. I'm used to a more cushiony sole. Also VERY stiff. I couldn't really walk in them, they immediately made my back and joints ache. Full disclosure I have arthritis. They are very cute and for me ran true to size. I normally wear a 7 1/2 M or sometimes need W in trainers and bought the 38 R. So disappointed as I really wanted these to work for me!

I sooooo wanted this sandal to work. I live in a warm climate and this was going to be my "go-to winter sandal". But - it didn't fit like my other Birkis! I thought it was a bit short (I always wear a 39N). Also, I tried walking around in it - and no matter how I adjusted the straps, my foot slipped to the front of the foot bed - enough so that my toes crept over the front of the foot bed! I guess it was the shearling that caused so many issues. Sorry, but I sent this one back.

I bought these for my daughter for Christmas, per her request, and she loves the feel of the shearling lining. However, her feet do not stay in position like her feet do in her Birkenstocks without the lining. Her toes slide forward making it look as if the sandals are too small, but they are the correct size. Another problem is that when she wear socks with them the socks slide forward and bunches up around her toes. I would say return them, but she wants to keep them and is hoping that with further wear they will be her favorite sandals.

This is not the first time i have had this shoe. I wore the first ones out. I was so upset to receive them only to open them and see that they had definitely been worn quite a bit by the condition of the shearling! It is very obvious! I have ordered from zappos often and can’t believe these got passed their quality control!!!

Great fit -nice and warm on cold days working remotely. And still have a nice open toe-barefoot feel.

Love the shearling sandal for the cooler months. It’s a great house slipper in the winter months

I wasn’t really sure how I was going to like these because I have never owned a pair of Birkenstock but I was pleasantly surprised how warm they keep your feet and how comfortable they really are. I would definitely buy another pair.

This is my second purchase of these Birks, I wore out the first pair. I am thrilled to have me fresh, new, and comfy replacements!

I ordered my regular size 40EU/9 and felt short and narrow, probably due to the shearling. Shearling does not last long on these Birkenstocks, this is my third pair.

These were perfect! The other pair I ordered the left one didn't fit right, so I ordered another pair to see if it would be more comfortable and it was! Love them!!

Love the shoe, I wear them as a slippers indoors. I was always going barefoot until I started having some issues with pain in my feet. My doctor recommended Birkenstock.

I love these shoes, They are a narrow width and fit perfectly, I am very pleased with this purchase!

I wear Woman’s size 13W and love the “plastic” version but I wanted to try the fleece lined Birks for colder weather. They fit as well as the others I’ve bought and these feel very cozy and soft. I did think (I confess I did not check before buying) that the fleece footbed would be removable for cleaning/washing. They are not. So, I’m wondering just how long these will look good? The comfort is worth the price but I would prefer they make the fleece removable for cleaning.

Love the new lavender color of the suede. I buy a new pair of shearling birkies every year and wear them around the house. Super warm and comfy!
