After having plantar fasciitis for a year, I had been afraid to buy slippers with no arch support but was sick of wearing shoes around the house. A friend suggested getting Birkenstocks and that idea depressed me. I looked anyway and saw this pair with shearling that seemed ridiculous but I decided why not? I have been so happy putting my feet into these cozy shoes both in the morning and after a long day. They are obviously pricey for house slippers but I expect them to last years and help prevent the plantar from returning, so totally worth it. Also, I bought the narrow, which was perfect for my narrow foot.

I bought these to wear as slippers. They are so comfortable. I have RA and they make a huge difference in how my feet feel.

I tried to talk myself out of these, because shearling sandals just seemed kinda silly. But then I tried on a friend’s pair & immediately ordered my own. I’ve always loved Birkenstocks & these have all the comfort you expect, along with the exquisite coziness of that shearling. I’ve worn them non stop since they arrived & it’s amazing how warm they are, even with no socks & exposed toes. True to size, crazy comfy & cute & trendy too. Worth the splurge!

I haven’t worn them outside yet, they seem really comfortable and cushy. I am concerned about reading other reviews however, that’s state that the shearling wears down to almost nothing after a few where’s… I hope that doesn’t happen

These sandals should be on everyone's Santa list! The rust color lends a bit of pizazz to my mostly black wardrobe and feels right for the holidays. The fleece cuddles your toes and the support is just right. I have a high arch and these work great! Thank you, Santa!!!!

Love Birkenstocks and the Arizona style is especially comfortable. Bought the shearling ones for fun and to keep my feet toadty.

I have the mink suede color for several years. I love them. I would love to replace the shearling. It's a little worn. 4 years. Would buy another colour to add to these.maybe you can tell me where I can get new shearling?

I have had these for a few months and I am really happy with them. I use them mostly as house shoes but could see wearing them outside and getting a second pair for house, when the weather gets cool again. They are my first pair of Birkenstocks, even though I never cared for the style before, I think these are very cute, my boyfriend calls them viking slippers. They are comfortable and cozy. I don't think of myself as having narrow feet but I ordered these in narrow with my regular size 39 and they fit great not too tight to feel comfortable nor to loose to fall off, if you were say, riding a bike or something. I experienced minimal shearling shedding, a little, but they still look and feel very cozy. They inspired me to get a non-shearling pair for summer outdoors.

Perfect fit to size. Just make sure after you have worn for a bit that you readjust the tightness of the straps after the fur gets smashed down. Mine were too loose after a couple wears and I took a tumble. Love these shoes they are so comfortable and awesome looking!!!

This is my fault, I thought I would try the narrow since regular was out of stock; my foot is a normal width but was definitely not comfortable in the narrow shoe. I will reorder in regular.

These are adorable and so comfy. I plan to wear them as house slippers cuz I don't want to get the fur dirty.

I bought the sherpa lined Arizona in two different colors, mink and stone. I am very happy with the fit, comfort and appearance. I purchased the sandals in my usual Birkenstocks size. I did not find it necessary to size up to accommodate the sherpa lining.

I've been wearing Birkenstocks for about 15 years and these might be my favorites. I have some arthritis in my toes, so sandals are more comfortable than shoes. I also hate having cold feet, so these are perfect. My toes are comfortable and warm. I have worn them for part of every day since they arrived. Thanks for making these in a narrow.

These are offered in only narrow. The fit is the same as the +30 pairs of assorted Birkenstock shoes I have in sandal, thong, and clog styles. I am able to wear socks in my clogs. I cannot wear socks with these as they are too snug. They are quite warm without socks. The fit is the same as others, I did not size up. I purchased a size 36. In New Balance Tennis shoes and hiking boots I wear 6.5 US, as an example.

I loved these at first. They kept my feet warm. But after three months the shearling wore off and they look really old. So sad. They were expensive and didn’t even last a full season of wear.

I wore a pair of these Arizona Shearling sandals last winter as slippers, and I was eager to get a new pair for this upcoming cold-weather season. However, upon receiving this new pair, it was obvious that something was different. The most obvious problem was the hard glue that had dried both on the shearling and on the side where the shearling had been glued to the sole. Both spots of glue made the sandal impossible to wear. Combine that very poor workmanship with a suspicious looking label, and I’m wondering if these are fakes. Returning.

Love these! They fit great, adjustable, have good support, and are cozy and cute!

These are my 2nd pair: love them! Be sure to check proper width. I initially ordered "Regular" thinking a Medium. Too wide. I exchanged for Narrow (which they say is like the usual Medium) and it's perfect. The shearling tufts didn't pull out but nicely bordered and terrific and warm on soles! Recovering from plantar fasciitis, I usually wear with an ankle sleeve or toe socks. Thanks to Zappos for helping exchange so easily!

It is very important to see the width of the birkenstocks a lot of them with the shirling do not come in a regular with only narrow so if you need the same color must go one size up

The muted pink with wool lining is really cute and very comfortable. The wool is lovely on the feet. My feet are wide and the regular worked. Really unique and cute sandal that I use mostly as a slipper or light errands where I know I won't get the light color too dirty.

These are killer. Warm, supportive, great color! Wearing slippers a lot these days so it’s nice to have something supportive for tired feet. I’m usually a 9, so a 40 Narrow is perfect.

My 1st pair of Birkenstocks, but certainly not my last! So comfortable and warm -easy to wear inside and outside as well.

So warm and comfy. I need a wide shoe and this one fits the bill. Work better for me than traditional "house shoes" since I need arch support. I wear them around the house, but could wear them out with jeans/casual. I am having to use great restraint and not buy more colors!

I tried the narrow first and then exchanged for the regular width. Narrow seemed a half size smaller in length to me. I chose the exact same size as my regular Birks, and they fit great.
