These boots run VERY long in length, at least 1 size larger than in length. It took a few exchanges to get the correct size. I am normally a 9.5 to 10 and ended up with an 8.5 The 8.5 is still a bit long, but I had to stick with it because the boot was getting too tight everywhere else. My friend that is a size 11 (flat long feet) tried on the 9.5 and he said the fit great!? I have a tall arch and wide feet so I couldn't go smaller in length than the 8.5.... The soles run really long, but the room in the boot seems to be more size appropriate. These boots break in really fast. I have been really happy with look and feel, but they run really long!

I bought these to ride my motorcycle to work with some extra protection and still look good once I got there. To note, this boot has limited moto functionality vs more dedicated boots and lacks ankle padding etc. But that trade off equals a great looking boot in person that looks great with jeans and a casual shirt. The leather seems nice and the laces lock the boot in nicely. I added a small orthopedic insert to give them the right amount of arch support. Stylish moto boots are all the rage on the larger motorcycle supply websites, I'm surprised none of them have picked these up as they look awesome. I highly recommend for the city or casual commuter. Not recommended if you're looking for a bomb proof, water proof moto boot. Go with a power ranger looking riding boot if you need all that functionality. Also, I had a slight problem with mine when first received and Zappos Customer Service was nothing short of amaze-balls. I will go out of my way to buy my shoes on this website for now on.

I am very happy with my purchase. The boots do feel a bit large for a 9.5, but being between 9.5 & 10 I am happy with the roomy toes. a big 9.5 / small 10. I have a high arch so new the fit is a bit tight on the top of the arch and getting into them, but I suspect they will break in nicely.great light motorcycle boot (no extra ankle bracing). Good looking/great for off the bike. well constructed. I am happy with my purchase. Waterproofed and conditioned with Obenauf's breaking in on the second day now without issues.

That little patch on the heel is a reflective surface. it's a reflector. This is a motorcycle boot. You want this. These are one or the coolest boots out there.

The little grey patch on the back that the other reviewer mentioned is a reflector. Great idea to put that on a motorcycle boot!
I did have to go a full size down to get a good fit. And, when I first tried on the boots, they felt very tight and rigid. That has gone away. Now, they are really comfortable.
Zappos did a great job getting me the right size. They were even able to get them to me in a day! Customer service was awesome. And these are my favorite boots.
For reference, I typically wear Clarks desert boots or Red Wings.

This is a beautiful boot to look at. And it does feel great on your feet, if a bit stiff. The leather is top quality and I love the design of almost everything with this boot. Eexcept that little grey patch over the heel that looks a little over designed but also a bit tough? Because it looks like steel? Well, reader, it ain't. It's some kind of soft plastic material. A biker/combat boot with a soft plastic patch above the heel. I can't imagine it would take long for that to get super damaged and look awful and cheap. A mind-bending judgment error on Clarks/Norton's part. If that doesn't put you off, you will likely get to enjoy Zappos' unparalleled shipping experience because the Clarks sizes are very inconsistent - their chart here is not the same as the chart on their site. I ordered a full size down and the boot still felt a half to a full size too large.
