At 55 years old, this is my first pair of Doc Martens and I love them! My husband has been telling me for years I should get a pair of lace up boots because he likes how they look, but I love the feel of Danskos so much, I just wasn’t sure I’d be comfortable wearing something else. Doc Martens feel totally different than Dansko clogs, but they do not hurt your feet at all, even wearing all day. The rubber soles give lots of stability and several people commented on how cute they looked when I wore them to church with a dress and leggings. They make me feel young and hip which is super fun with my gray hair! It did take awhile to lace them the first time, but I love the zipper on the side and how after lacing the first time, you don’t have to lace again. I normally wear a US9 or a 39/40 in Dansko and the US9 fit perfectly.

These boots are amazing. Comfortable all day right out of the box and compliments galore. Super cool.

I have a love/hate relationship with Docs. I've purchased ones that are incredibly comfortable, and others that have so severely abraded my legs, as the leather was so hard, that I had to get rid of them after one wearing. THESE ARE AMAZING. The leather is so soft, and the boots are incredibly comfortable. I've owned Docs since my teens, and I'm in my 40's now. These are fantastic.

Super cute!! My 12 year old daughter begged and begged for theses boots. It is a win/win situation because we wear the same size :) They are a tad stiff right at the top of the foot, but I am sure after some wear they will soften up. Just in case anyone has large calf (I do), they fit!!!!

Soft, funky, what's NOT to love! Very European styling and so very versatile! Put them on and they are comfy right out of the box. Will be great for travel when we can someday leave our homes again! A tad big in the heel but a thicker sock solved that problem for me. They are not the hard, inflexible Doc Martens I have tried on before...these are like butter! I am an 8.5 and got the UK 6/W 8 and they fit beautifully in the length so they run a bit big.

I think the Dr. Marten sizing has actually become much more accurate than in the past. For a while, shopping for Dr. Martens felt like a hit or miss, either too big or too small. I ordered these in my normal size and they fit PERFECTLY. I am very pleased with this purchase. I currently am wearing them with thick socks but I can imagine thinner socks would work just fine as well.

Love. Love LOVE these boots! Soft leather with almost no break-in period. Super comfortable straight out of the box. I had 14’s way back in the 90’s and they were so hard to put on because of having to loosen all the laces. These have a side zipper so I just had to adjust the laces once and now they’re a breeze to get in and out of! Look great with leggings, tights and skinny jeans. Super pleased with this purchase!

These are great boots. The leather is soft. It does rub some on the back just above my heels so I wear thick socks. But I need to anyway since they don't have half sizes. These are one of the few boot vendors that has room in the toe for a normal foot.

These boots are awesome! They are so comfortable and I love that they have the zipper so you don't have to tie them up and struggle with getting your foot in and out of them.

I bought one size 8, cause that’s what I normally wear. When I received it, it was a size bigger. So I ordered the size 7, it fit perfect with socks and can wear thicker socks. I love it, leather is thin and pretty...

I am usually a true 10. At first, I felt this 10 would be way too big, my heel kept lifting w every step, so I ordered a 9 so I could do a side by side comparison. The 9 ended up being far too tight. After adjusting the laces a bit on the 10, my heel stopped lifting and I realized I liked having a little room for thicker socks. The leather is super supple and soft, though I am having a slight breaking in issue high on my left heel around the achilles. Other than that I love these. They are so comfortable and offer great support. My last Doc Martens were the 1460 in the classic leather that took forever to break in. Wasn't sure I'd like the look of the zipper, but it really makes getting dressed fast.

Super cool boot and so comfortable! They will take a while to break in but I definitely wore them right away with no problems and I have bad feet! I love that these are a classic and will never go out of style and you can literally wear them with any outfit. I lalso ove that there is a zipper on the side- it really helps go on so much easier! Get this 14 hole boot, you won’t be disappointed

I love these. They are sturdy, comfortable, and let's face it, they just look cool. I have plantar fasciitis and these have enough support to wear all day. Also, they zip up the sides so you don't have to fear the laces.

Although I had to return this boot, I am still a fan. I just didn't like the way it looked around my calves. When I did put them on, they were a little stiff but that's just because they were new. They needed some breaking in to. Very beautiful boots. Craftsmanship and design is on point. They fit true to size.

Love these! The leather is on the thin side, but that makes them more comfortable to wear. The leather has a slight pebble texture, which I wasn't sure I liked at first but has grown on me. I'm not a huge fan of the zipper -- it's not a classic Doc look. But on the other hand, it's very convenient and useful, so that has grown on me too. I like the height -- it's a happy medium between ankle boot vs too tall and overwhelming.

I love these boots. They are tight across the top of the toe, but Docs usually are tight there. But no chafing on the heel.

I'm very happy with my boots! The side zips make them more convenient to wear, and I have found them easy enough to break in, despite one or two other reviewers. One thing--I ordered my normal size, and they are just a little large, but that's easily dealt with by wearing thicker socks. And thanks to Zappos, who are just as great to deal with as I've always heard!

I just got these on a hot summer day and tried them on with no socks, no less and wandered about in them...the verdict? So comfortable and cool looking to boot! I have several pairs of Docs but these could easily go into the running as my new favorites! The leather is soft and comfortable and the styling is awesome.

Loved that it had a zipper - so much more functional. I have to wear a lift in one shoe, and unfortunately it made it too tight across the top. Since there is a seam there, I didn't think it would soften enough to wear.

Yellow stitching on first pair was defective and had to be returned. The replacement pair bought in my size US 10 were extremely tight. I then had those replaced with a size up. That pair was way more comfortable I suggest sizing up.

I order 1/2 size up bc my size felt too small. The half size up is a little big but thick socks help. These look really fun and cool

I wanted to love these. They are well made and very comfortable. However, I am short with muscular calves, and the top of the boot hits my calves in a spot that’s not flattering. I’m sure they look great on someone taller with longer or less muscular legs.

You can't go wrong with Dr. Martens ever! I own several pairs of them and this pair, too, is so cute and comfy! One thing was that there was a minor scratch on the toe box, but I can deal with it. No biggie.

Live Dr M’s, gotten many compliments and I feel strong in them. they are a bit tricky for my feet because they are very true to size and one of my feet is a size 5 snd the other a size 6. So I chose size 6. I have dove size 5, it just takes a little longer to work in. I put a heel support on the bigger foot and I just feel a bit better in the size up. But the size down worked out eventually very well as well. So depends on your comfort. :)
