My foot Doctor recommended that I purchase this footwear and being a Diabetic I always take advice; however, I didn't like the assorted colors until I found the black pair. Well, to say the least she was right, my feet feel great I recommend this brand to everyone I come in contact with and am purchasing another pair or hundred.

The shoes are comfortable, not heavy, and quite supportive for your feet. I especially noticed the supportiveness when I was jogging. They have an adequate amount of ventilation, also.

I absolutely love these shoes! They are wide enough in the "wide" width for my wide feet, and they feel great. I've been on several long-ish runs since getting them, and they no longer make my feet hurt (like my old shoes were doing!). This is one of the few pairs of entirely-black running shoes that I could find in the "wide" width and not at an exorbitant price, and I plan on buying a new pair as soon as these are too worn out to use any more. Asics, if you read this, PLEASE keep producing al-black running shoes like this.

Overall great experience! I researched what shoes I was interested in ahead of time, ie tried some different ones on in my price range, then shopped Zappos.The website was easy to navigate and my order arrived within 5 days of placing my order.

Slightly lighter than the version of the same shoe before it. Asics are always great for running. This shoe was exactly what I wanted it to be.

The structure of the shoe allows for a great run. The truss system really carries and propells the foot in an efficient and balanced form. They are also extremely light. I would point out that they were a half size too big. I have wide feet so maybe the EE size had to do with that.

We have to buy all black shoes for the fire department I work for, and these were about the only thing that was close enough to all black that I could find. I have only had them a month or so, but so far I like them. I did have to take a black marker to some of the silver trim to make sure I was in compliance, though.

Love them. A mailmans delight. Finally an all black running shoe with a wide width. Hey a 6E width might even be better. A couple of other co-worker Postal workers bought them and love them too.

Perfect fit and color. The item was out of stock and I asked for email notice if it came back into stock. It quickly did, the email notification was timely, and I was very pleased to order the item - this size can be hard to find. Thank you, Zappos!

Bought these for my 11 year old son - he loves them! He has wide feet and wears orthotics, these fit him perfectly and are really comfortable.

These are the only athletic shoes that I have worn for the past six years. And specifically this design that allows enough mesh fabric in the bunion area. I have tried others but invariably the stitched materials in that area causes issues with my feet. The consistent quality, fit and support keeps me coming back to these shoes. The break in time is zero. I am always good-to-go in these shoes!

A very good shoe, this is my second pair I have purchased. Good support and cushioning,I'm a good sized guy, so both critical to me. True to size, even for my large feet.

Good shoes. Simple and comfortable. However, I am not a runner. I use these as comfy sneakers, and they do the job well. Maybe just a tad narrow, so go half size up if you are running in them.

Overall really good purchase. Shoes seem well built, and fit true to size. I had two previous pairs of Asics, and the shoe fit the same as the previous two pairs. May be a little heave for an every day runner, but for someone like me (6'1", 225) and an occasional runner, they are exactly what I needed and expected.

I have other Asics that I use for running and exercise. Bought this style to just wear as a casual "walking around" shoe (which is hard to find in conservative colors anymore). I am a picky shoe shopper. But, I have only positives for this shoe: (1) gel in both front and rear - very cushioned for a big boy weighing over 200 lbs; (2) nice looking - dark gray with a little flair - goes good with khakis and shorts; (3) very breathable for hot summers and feet that sweat a lot (it is not a cold weather shoe); (4) same consistent Asics fit. Thinking of buying another pair before they change the style and color.

I love these shoes! The fit nice and conform to my feet. They are light and airy but still offer good support. I will buy these again!

I was kind of worried I had my shoe size wrong, but once they arrived (on time) the shoes fit like a comfortable glove (thank god). My local doctor keeps stressing me to lose weight or I'll become a diabetic and these shoes will help me along my journey. And if I stay committed, then I'll buy another pair. Thanks again.

Great sneakers. I switched from using New Balance for years since I have 4E width. I immediately noticed more support on my heels. I have plantar fasciitis on my left foot, and this is the first sneaker I have had where I feel enough support to not worry about wearing the orthotics inside. The regular sole is good enough. I purchased another pair of Asics in a different color, and same, excellent result. Very happy.

I bought these shoes for my son who requires wide shoes and suffers from flat feet. He loves them. He has walked many miles in the shoes and reports that they cushion and support his feet so well that he doesn't need his orthotics.

Great fit. Very comfortable. Bought the EE type since I have wide feet.

I am a moderate runner, seven days a week, about 40-50 miles per week. At 5'11" and a solid 195 pounds, I wear running shoes out usually in less than 200 miles. Not these. I am about to order my second pair and the first I can still run in though the outer front of the toe box padding is worn thin from my tendency to supplinate. Mileage is now about 350 miles. They are comfortable, well designed and durable, I am a fan.

My shoes came to the house very quickly, they fit great.I have bought a number of shoes from Zappos. I am a true Zappos fan. Zappos... simply a smarter way.

I've tried many brands of running shoes but for on pavement use I always find myself coming back to Asics and these don't disappoint. Great support and comfort in the gel footbed.

I have generally been a New Balance guy, but I have bought a couple of pairs of Asics shoes recently and I really like them. I have peripheral neuropathy and a wide foot, so I have to be particularly careful about proper fit. these shoes are comfortable and look really good, so I am now able to enlarge my selection choice. And I always buy from Zappos!
