My right foot is a disaster with a large bunion, a hammer toe, etc. Consequently, wearing high heels is a problem because I can't cram my foot into a pointy shoe, and open-toed shoes simply put my unattractive foot on display. However, my daughter is getting married, and I need nice high heels that will be comfortable enough to last through the wedding and the reception. Of course, I turned to Zappos. I ordered the Renee Veeva shoe in two sizes, an 8M and an 8W. The 8W is perfect for my poor right foot! Often, a dressy shoe is cut too low, and half of the bunion with peak out. The wide width allows all my toes, bunion and all, to fit comfortably into the shoe. While I have only worn them in the house, they are extrmely comfortable. The shoes do gap in the back, so I have ordered it in a 7.5W and will keep whichever pair has the better fit. For anyone with big, wide or problem feet, these shoes are perfect. As for appearance, the shoes are a subtle gold, not bright or flashy. Very feminine design, too.

These shoes are attractive and they're quite comfortable, which is saying a lot because I have had surgery to repair a bunion and other deformities on one of my feet. Few shoes with heels are at all comfortable, and these were. I just need shoes that have a bit more bling to go with my gown for our son's wedding. If I don't find "Cinderella's slipper" - both gorgeous and as comfortable as my walking shoes, I'll reorder the J. Renee Veeva.

I have really difficult feet -- I have permanent nerve damage on my right foot that has resulted in deformed toes and serious pain when I walk. I have a large bunion on my left foot that needs surgery, but that has to wait until after the two family weddings these shoes were purchased for. The shoes are SO comfy -- it's almost impossible for me to get a pair of shoes that will feel great for several hours, but I think these shoes will be reasonably comfortable for the entire evening. I'm very happy with them!

The picture of these shoes appears a little taupey but in person the shoe is a real pewter/dark silver color...which in my case was what I wanted!! Because of the shorter heel they were comfortable for walking and dancing!

I have wide feet, high insteps, and a bad bunion on one foot. Wearing fashionable high heels is pure torture, and I'm usually in excruciating pain after only an hour. Not the case with these shoes; they're stylish, feminine, and best of all, I didn't give foot comfort a thought although I was standing for three hours. Love them! Worth the price and recommended!

These were perfect! Classy and comfortable! I have such issues with my feet (one foot has no arch and is much wider than the other foot) and these are just fabulous (on both feet)! They have a nice glittery shine that really makes them so adorable. I was able to dance at a reception then walk through the city wearing these. No issues with pains or pinching. Since ordering and loving these shoes, I have ordered another style from the same company.

Classy looking shoe. Pretty comfortable. I needed the wide because my feet have changed over my years. A little stiff but not bad. You can adjust the ball on the elastic to make tighter or looser.

Although this is a gorgeous shoe, it was a little too long for my foot. If it fit, it would have been a great shoe for a wedding I attended.

These shoes are fantastic. I bought them for my wedding and needed something that was both eye catching in a short dress yet comfortable enough to be on my feet and dancing for hours. These completely fit the bill. I have wide feet and high arches. The combination of the lower than average heel and the cushioning inside the shoe made these a dream to wear.

This is really an elegant and comfortable shoe. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful, very comfortable shoe, fit is true to size. Bought these to wear to a wedding, heel height is perfect and just right to be standing and dancing in for 10 hours at my daughter's wedding.

Beautiful and comfy. Even with my bunions. What a combination. I needed to make an exchange for a half-size smaller, and thanks to Zappo's unbelievable customer service, I was able to make the exchange while on live chat with a customer rep. The reason this was remarkable is because I feared (greatly...these are expensive shoes for me) that I wouldn't be able to make the exchange due to stepping on my dog's treat rug while prancing around the house, trying them on. Treat rug left smudges on the non-slip soles. Shout-out to Jayson in customer service. Zappo's is the very best!

I wore this shoe to a dressy event in New York City. The shoes looked great and were very comfortable. Frankly, they were more elegant and more comfortable than other much more expensive shoes that I tried. I was on my feet for several hours in these shoes and I did not develop a single blister or sore spot. It is hard to find a shoe this nice and this comfortable if you have a wide foot. I am very happy with these shoes.

By the time I walked from the parking lot to the building, the sole area on the front of the shoe had worn!!! it's not a leather sole, just some cheap material. Don't waste your money. Shoe looks good, but cheaply made. Some nerve charging so much!

Beautiful shoe - just not comfortable for me

Gorgeous shoe. Very comfortable. Looks great with my long peach dress that has a gold satin sash. The 7 1/2 fit well. I would normally take an 8 for an uncomfortable shoe. I gave it 4 stars for comfort bc I am never super comfortable in heals any more.

I bought these shoes for my niece's outdoor wedding being held in the midwest in the middle of July. When I received the shoes, they felt a bit long, as I ordered size 8 and they were definitely more like an 8.5. But I kept them as I knew that summer heat might make my feet swell a bit. They were really comfortable and I was glad I kept them. After hours on my feet, these shoes continued to work out well. Very pretty color as well. Subtle elegance. The heel height was also nice. Hard to find medium heels these days.

Love this shoe. Exactly what I wanted, but too long. I ordered the 7W, and it was too long, and that was on my larger foot. 6-1/2 W would probably have fit perfect, but not available. Too bad!

Thought the pointy toe would be uncomfortable, but definitely not the case. Great comfortable fit, and glitzy glam! Not my usual style, and I'm thrilled to be able really dress it up once in a while!
