I purchased these for snow shoeing and hiking in deeper snow and was not disappointed. My feet were warm and dry and the traction was great on icy areas. The lacing system is different and takes a few minutes to get used to (cinches up and leaves a long "tail" of the extra laces once tightened) The best part of the laces is they did not loosen while snow shoeing!

These boots are so warm I stopped wearing winter socks. I can just wear simple gym socks.

These make awesome every day boots, because they are the fastest and easiest boots to take on and off I have ever had in my life. They are also not too bulky if I need to drive with them on. We had a couple of days below zero, and they were plenty warm. They provide decent traction on icier surfaces. If you're actually trekking through the snow you will want gaiters or snow pants on that cover the top of the boots. You will definitely want a full size up, but as someone with a wide foot these are plenty comfortable.

Lace are to long, wish the boots didn't have laces, One of the most comfortable boot I ever brought, and are lightweight. Make sure you order a size bigger. And they keep your feet extremely warm

These boots are so warm and cushy I really wanted to like them but they are too squished in the toes. I wish they came in wide or WW.
