These are heavy duty cargo shorts, pretty much what you'd expect from Carhartt. Probably not what you'd want for the hottest and muggiest days, but otherwise just fine. Good color, roomy packets, perfect length, waist true to size. Only washed and worn once, and so far no complaints.

Im 6'3 so finding longer length shorts and actually liking how they fit is not too often, but i like the length..hit right at knees and dont ride up too high when sitting. Overall a great fit

Great shorts, great price. Love the style, they hang perfectly in the right place around the knee, and seem to be very good quality. I normally wear 31" jeans, but bought 32" shorts and it seems to have been the right choice. Would recommend!

Got these for my husband for his work shirts. True to size, I love the colors and the thick durable fabric, He says they are a great fit, with roomy functionable pockets, and overall comfortable

Perfect shorts! The material is tough but not heavy, with none of that stupid stretch. The cut is flattering but not skinny. There's no vanity sizing here, and these are made to fit a little higher than some guys like their shorts. If you want them to sit lower on your hips, order a size up.

Fit, size, style and price right. Have only worn these cargo shorts for 2 days; so cannot comment on durability, but they seem as well made as other Carhartt trousers I have worn for years.

true to size, soft rugged feel. well made. relaxed fit. very comfortable. pocket flaps don't curl up after wash. good price.

Geat pair of shorts. I have had them for a little over a year and they still look good. They wash very good. I thought for sure a few times that I had stained them, but every wash they come out clean. And that's the Tan color. Literally one of the best shorts I own.

Very impressed with this short. For one thing, it comes in a 33" waist. My husband is a 33". Based on how few clothing companies carry this waist size, you would think only Martians wear 33", but how rare can it be if they everyone carries 32" and 34". If I had a nickel for every time I had to take in a pair of his pants! And, no, he doesn't like belts. Anyway, these shorts are very durable. The fabric looks like it is going to hold up to the job (DH is a contractor) a lot better than the other brands I purchased recently. And this price is really good, too! I am buying more right now.

Very large pockets and very comfortable. Length is perfect. Very heavy though, so if you want comfy summer shorts these will be too warm

Ordered a 33 waist on three different style shorts. The Carhartt was really small, too small. I did like the style, maybe I'll try a 34? Don't wanna concede to a "34" though!

These run very small. Normally I wear 29 and 30 in. waist pants/shorts but these felt way too tight in those sizes. I just ordered a 31.

Ordered 3 pair in green, gray & tan, all hi 38w x 11. 1st pair fit perfect, 2nd pair were tight, 3rd pair couldn't get button close to button hole. Sticker down leg said 38x11 on all 3 PR, sewn in label said 38 waist on all 3 PR. Took fabric tape to measure length of waist material. 42", 43" & 44". Carhartt quality control dropped the ball on sizing. Otherwise I really like the shorts even though I can only wear 2 of 3 pair at the moment.

Comfortable shorts. I tried the camo 36"and it fits true to size. The blue and tan are significantly tighter than the camo in the same size. I had to return them.
