Fit well, but padding completely flattened out after a year of regular use. Upper wore well and is sturdy. A good value shoe, but not upper tier.

I bought the Nike Downshifter 6 to wear to my office job and for mid-range walks (1-4 miles) with my dog. I found these shoes to be comfortable for the office but not ideal for walking because there wasn't as much cushion as Nike shoes with the air bubble. I'm a big guy at 6'3" 230lbs so I prefer a lot of cushion. Overall, I like these shoes for casual wear but not for anything athletic.

Not good on concrete, and feet end up wet on rainy days. Still, currently my shoe of choice when going for a long walk (1+ mile).

Overall, a good shoe for walking. I was surprised to find it true to size, as Nikes normally run small and narrow on me! I like the style, and the shoe is nice and cushy. The tongue is padded, and there's ample foam and cushion in the sole. While not perfect, the price made it attractive (I paid around $60). I will definitely consider buying this again

I returned these because they were too narrow. The shoe itself is a decent walking shoe. If it fits, it's comfortable. I also bought "Nike Free RN" shoes which are very different to these and I like those much more. The Free had a minimal feel and these feel a bit like clogs in comparison.

I took advantage of the great Zappo return policy for the first shoe I selected and rejected. Just started wearing these and so far very pleased. Will use Zappo again.

Very happy with these new shoes, one of my favorite styles/fit from Nike. Very comfortable and can wear all day with no issues.

I usually buy these at a local store so I can try them on, but I have found that Nikes are generally true to size and fit me well. The ones I bought on Zappos fit well. They are a comfortable and stable running shoe. The only negative I have is that the heels tend to wear quickly. I seem to land hardest on my right heel and that one always wears down first. I think these shoes are fine for most runners and are a good value.

Like most or all Nikes, this shoe runs narrow. This one is not as bad as some others I've had though. Sole and arch support is adequate, but not great. I definitely feel the road as I walk. The biggest problem is chaffing on the right heel. This is the second shoe I've gotten from Zappos, both sneakers but different brands, and each has had one shoe that chaffed my heel. Each was a different heel, so my foot is not the problem. The first I solved with a layer of duct tape in the back of the shoe. I think that will do here as well, but it seems an odd problem to have. In all, a good but not great shoe. Considering the price of sneakers these days, a good value. Styling could easily have been done better, but is not ugly. I give this a flat 4 stars.

I bought these shoes in a 4E for my son who wears braces. I bought them in the same size as his New Balance shoes. They were physically much smaller and narrower than the same size in New Balance. We returned them for a half size larger. They are still pretty narrow in comparison, but he can get them on. The laces felt really cheap and like they'd break easily so we had to buy new ones.

I like these for style but the upper area, where the tongue is, seems vey lumpy and scratchy. Very tight area and I have never had this issue with any other pair of shoes.

The mesh on the front goes all the way down to the sole, so if walking through rain or grass with dew on it your feet get pretty wet. Does make for good ventilation however. I don't like the huge groove in the bottom of the sole where rocks and mud can get lodged. Lightweight and pretty comfortable.

My husband said these shoes are sufficient everyday running around. He walks with a slight bounce so his shoes tend to wear faster. The quality seems moderate.

Colors of this shoe in the picture are deceiving. The "Cool grey/team orange" is actually a much darker grey and neon pink. Otherwise a great comfortable sneaker. Was just surprised and disappointed with the color when they arrived. Just a heads up.

This shoe is for my son. It fit well and was comfortable right out of the box. They were purchased at the end of the spring. I can tell from the quality of construction that it won't last a full year, but I'm hopeful to get through the Fall with them.

The shoe is OK. It is nothing special. What is special is Zappoes. Great selection and I got it fast. I will be back.

One shoe was an bit wider and longer than the other. But the big issue was that after wearing them one day, my middle toes would bump into the front which is odd because I've never had that problem with my Nike's before. I'm returning them, hopefully they are accepted. I ordered these because they have Nike's phylon soles, and my previous shoes from Zappos are Nike's Dual Fusion St 2, which I loved.

Way too narrow. Literally hurts to wear them. The last 5 pairs of shoes I owned were Nike's with the same width as these and I've never had an issue. Pretty disappointed. Otherwise the shoe looks great and was the perfect weight that I wanted.

I was very hopeful about these shoes as I own the Downshifter 5. I ordered 11.5s and 12s in 4E (I wear 11.5 4E in the 5s), but they both fit dramatically different than my 5s. The 11.5s were too small--three of my toes rubbed. However, the 12s were too big and felt like clown shoes. They are very different in style from my 5s. The sole even changed drastically. If you thought you'd buy these because you liked the 5s, don't bother.

I ordered size 7. That was too big. I replaced them with 6½ which was too small. Check the labels, each time correct? I am disappointed with this style.

Not a true 4E. The toe box is disappointingly narrow. The selection of wide sizes is also not very stylish - New Balance used to make a wide variety in wide sizes, and now, like Nike, they've eliminated anything that doesn't look like it should be worn in a nursing home. C'mon Nike, just do it.
