My 5 year old can easily walk in the shoes without them falling off. The length of the shoe fit perfectly. The straps are a bit tight, even though they are on the loosest buckle. She can only wear them barefoot, not with thick socks.

Fits a little narrow. If your child isn’t used to the feel of birks and how they hug your feet, may not like them or could take some adjusting. Very cute though!

I bought these for my daughter. They were too big, so back they go.

First day of daughter wearing, the painted buckles are scratched badly and look super tacky now that silver metal is exposed - all she was doing was being a 6 yo kid, a bit disappointed in the design...but fit, comfort are all on point.

Great shoe, but the top bands could not be tightened enough to have them stay on my daughter's slim feet. I feel like this version is better for wider feet. The rose color is very versatile!

Bought my 11 year old the 34 and they fit perfect! Just a side note have them wear the sandals a little each day. You need to break them in before u can wear them for long walks

Been waiting for this style to come in the black color and so glad Zappos finally had it! I've been waiting for almost 2 years. I usually wear 5.5-6 and a big kids 34 fit perfectly and I can't seem to find it anywhere else. Only con is that I have a wide foot and it only comes in a narrow width. However, I know from previous experience that the straps do stretch a bit! Thanks Zappos!!

These sandals are nice and comfy, but run a little large. My little guy will have to grow into them so no problem there.

I ordered these based on other reviews for a woman who wears 5.5 shoes. They were way too small and I thought they were leather and they were not. I'm surprised other women with my size can fit these. Definitely needed an adult size.

Cute, stylish shoes but I returned them because I need more cushion than these shoes provide.

These sandals are a full size smaller than typical sizing. I suggest ordering accordingly.

I LOVE Birks. I Had a pair in high school 20 years ago, and I was so excited to get my first new pair since then. I wear a women’s size 5 so size 34 was perfect for me. The sandals were amazing for about six months, then I noticed the cork starting to break where the foot bends by the toes. Then they started to break down significantly after that. I never got them wet, wear them daily, and I don’t think I was too terribly hard on them. I’m wondering if I maybe got a defective pair. I would love to give these another try, and I love how they are half the price of the adult size. My former pair lasted me almost 10 years. I was hoping the same for these. I’m also wondering if maybe these children sizes are made differently than the adult sizes?

Received the kids shoes without the Birkenstock box. Looked like the shoes were worn and returned. My child has wider feet and the “medium/narrow” version they seem to only make to date for kids, do not fit my child. Hard to find the regular width Birkenstocks anymore. This review is mostly on how the shoes were received from Zappos. I could see the shoes I received, sold at a reduced cost without the box and being previously returned.

Great style, however too narrow. All in all it was a good purchase but I received it in a plastic bag-only which was weird and CS team said they don't have boxes for all the products they sell...

These are super cute shoes; unfortunately the metallic pink color started rubbing off. We returned these with no issue. It is too bad, because they are cute shoes!

I agree with all the other comments that the pink finish rubbed off within weeks of wear, which is very disappointing given the cost of the sandal. Otherwise, the fit and comfort are totally worth the price. Will definitely consider buying Birks again, just without the metallic finish.

My daughter has only had these for a month and the finish is coming off of them. The last Birks she had lasted a whole year and she would still be wearing them had she not outgrown them. Very disappointed!

I was very excited to splurge on a real pair of Birkie's for my daughter. These are adorable; however, the metallic pink started rubbing off and appearing as dull silver after a few weeks of basic wear, which was disappointing.

The sandals arrived with big stains on both foot beds. Looks like water or grease stains.

Based on other reviews, I purchased these for my medium to wide feet. I cannot get them on even using the last hole in the buckle. I may try punching additional holes.

I've worn children's size Birkenstock's for many years, have many styles & colors. They were always a great very comfortable sandal. I just rec'd this pair & they are like a cheap imitation. This is a plastic replica of what was a great leather/suede shoe with the original price. I would NOT recommend this anymore. Bring back the ORIGINAL sandal with the original high quality materials. These are an awful shoe. Thank You Zappos for an easy return policy.

These sandals are adorable and fit my daughter well. However, she has had them for only one week (and only worn them 3 or 4 times), and the pink finish is rubbing off all over the sandals. It looks like silver scuffs. I would not recommend these sandals purely because the finish is so flimsy. After only a few wears the shoes look something cheap you'd get at a big box store, and that's disappointing when you've paid for what you expect is a quality product from Birkenstock.
