Fit around the ankle is a little disproportioned - looser than it should be. I am returning and getting next half size smaller, so maybe that will make the difference. Nice casual kicks with an upscale look to them.

I like the look of these shoes and they are comfortable. The color is a brownish-grey...they look good.

Unfortunately the dealbreaker for these shoes was the inconsistent fit. While they felt like they were a size larger in terms of length they were simultaneously too narrow. I typically wear a size 14 with standard width but even ordering the EE (wide) the shoes were uncomfortably narrow. The fact that the shoes felt longer than expected was particularly noticeable when walking around as it felt like my heels kept slipping out of the back. This may be due in no small part to the rigidity of the shoe. Unrelated to the size, I was disappointed that the shoes appear so much darker IRL than they did in pictures. While they appear gray in photos they looked to me to be almost as dark as the black shoes I wear. This wasn't a huge deal but was still worth noting. I still gave these shoes a 4/5 despite the aforementioned concerns. This is because they are stylish, seem solidly built and are versatile. These shoes strike a solid balance between dressy and casual. Had the sizing felt more accurate I might have given these full marks but that ended up being an issue I just couldn't get around.

I ended up returning these because with my size 16 shoe they just appeared way too big. The style and comfort were nice though. It is definitely more like a low cut boot style rather than an Oxford dress shoe.

The Dunham REVdare is officially the first shoe to (almost) fit my 4E-width sized hobbit feet. For those who don't know the pain, wide widths come in additionally wider and wider sizes, which is nearly impossible to find in any brick-and-mortar (or, really any) shoe store. I've essentially been walking around with clown shoes is what I'm trying to get at, and this shoe has singlehandedly solved so many of my dilemmas. Although not a perfect shoe, the REVdare has proven to meet the reliability I need running around the rainy and sometimes snowy streets of Portland. PROS Water-resistant - much needed where I live Stylish AF - wear some oxford socks with these bad boys Durable - I've worn this shoe in Portland, L.A., D.C., Chicago, New Orleans....you get the point CONS Loses all traction after about a year - for someone like me, I have to watch the surfaces I'm walking on if it's wet and slippery. Laces frayed and broke after about a year - which ain't too bad since they're cheap as hell on Prime Summation: I love these freaking shoes.

Good shoe... but flimsy heel. I was loving these until about a year after purchase. The interior padding of the heel (inside the leather/cloth) had become detached, slipped down the heel, and would not stay in its original place. The result was that the heel of that shoe was immediately giving my heel irritation and an occasional blister, and also had a much less secure fit. Excellent shoes otherwise - good fusion of style and utility - but beware, these may not last you as long as you might hope. Top marks to Mateo at Zappos for taking care of the issue for me! That's one of the big reasons to buy from Zappos - they must easily have the best support in the entire shoe industry!!

Shoes are very good but it is big for my feet. 8.5 EE is my size but this model is big. I wear 2 thick socks and put a rubber sticker at back. I am not happy with it.
