The size 42 Narrow fit my size 12 feet just right. But since my feet have neuropathy, they are very sensitive. The front strap rubbed on top of my feet too hard for comfort. And they felt heavy . Sorry I had to sent them back.

This is my first time wearing Birks. I have fairly flat feet, and I pronate so I didn’t think they were for me.I tried them in the 70’s when they were popular and the arch hurt. Recently I got plantar fasciitis and couldn’t find a pair of shoes that were comfortable and most of the medical reviews recommended Birkenstocks. The Birk company recommended the original soles for my foot issues but didn’t want to go thru the break in period since my feet already hurt!…Well a few weeks now into the soft soled style and I can’t say it’s an easy transition but my aching heal feels cradled in these like no other I’ve tried, and I’ve tried SEVERAL brands so far! Oofos, Clark’s, and supportive sport tennis shoes in several brands. The top leather is a bit stiff, so I’m ordering the Kyoto style because of the soft suede upper, hoping they are better up top for comfort. The jury is still out, but over all I think they will work out. Most reviews say the soft soled take longer to mold to your feet because of the foam between the suede and the cork inhibits that process. But I am getting relief on my heal and that’s what I needed ! Hope this lengthy review helps anyone with similar foot issues. I ordered them from Zappos because there was nowhere close to me to try them on, but with their outstanding service, I knew I couldn’t go wrong! I wear a 7.5-8 and ordered the 38 narrow.

As pictured. Color is more a med hydrangea pink rather than a true fuchsia as some other Birkinstocks of late , but pretty enough. Toe bed seems a tad long and causes the occasional trip, but many B sandals have that feature i have found. The nubuck is very stiff , hard to manipulate into the clasp holds, and artificial feeling. Other than for the color, i would not have gotten nubuck. They are not the prettiest shoes available but they are moderately comfortable and i hope they will in time prove to be go to distance walking shoes. 3.5-4 stars.

I love the more modern look of the ochre color with the white sole. Shoe was comfortable. Great arch support. My flat feet are on the wide side of medium and the narrow seemed to fit well. I ended up returning this pair as I found this same shoe for cheaper off the Birkenstock website. Straps were very soft. Didn't bother my bunion at all.

With Zappo’s help the size was perfect but the top strap rubbed/irritated top of my foot. Adjusting strap did not help. Also, they do not seem to have as much cushioning as my previous 2 pairs of soft soles and were not as comfortable for walking. The color is pretty and Zappo’s service is great!

This suede Birki felt wider than all my others. I had to adjust to the last hole in one shoe and the next to the last hole in the other shoe and I have wider feet. The buckles on these are cheaper metal which I do not like.

I love these Birkenstock’s! But not so much the white soles which can easily get dirty! Easy to wear right out of the box because of the soft footbed. I’m glad Birks come in narrow so now I can wear them for the summer!

I'm not normally a narrow in any shoe, but I find the regular width to be too wide. I'm buckled on the first hole & it's still a little loose. I tried on the narrows in a shoe store & they're actually a better fit for my somewhat wide feet.

Love the looks of these! I might be treating Lilac as a new neutral color for me. My only complaint is the make a noise when I walk. I’m hoping that goes away once the leather gets worn in.

I think Zappos sizing recommendation is off for Berks. ( Also ordered the Boston and they were also waaaay too large.) I am typically a 9.5 so I ordered the 9-9.5. And they were so large it was laughable. I might need to order 2 sizes down... but not sure I want go through ordering and returning process again. Oh well.

I don’t know if Birkenstock changed the way that they make their shoes but they used to be my go to, and I can no longer find a pair that fit comfortably. It’s a bummer because I’ve always loved Birkenstock, but I have to look elsewhere for my summer shoes now.

I’m disappointed that this is the second pair of shoes that I’ve received from Zappos that doesn’t have the original box and more concerning no tags of any kind. These are not as comfortable as previous pairs that I’ve ordered.

I might have gotten a slighlty deffective pair. The straps are not placed even. My left foot slides forward. I wish I had noticed before I worn them. Otherwise they’re very comfy.

They don’t fit like my old ones! The straps are to long making them to big so I’m back to wearing my 20+ year old ones.

like the color. like the color of the footbed. the thinner straps on some of the Arizona sandals. Nope.

I love the Arizona! But, I wasn't crazy about the gray color. It's a bit lighter than I expected. Suggestion for Birkenstock: Arizona soft footbed in a charcoal color - suede and patent.

I live in Birks cuz the arch support is good for my feet. After wearing these for 2 days I started having backaches and compared the footbed to my other Birks. A soft footbed is nice but these have almost no arch support so they're going back even tho I love the look.

This is my second pair of Birks and if my podiatrist didn’t say I need them I would send them back. The first pair are Buckley and these are sandals. Narrow but not narrow enough and they squeak as I walk. What can I do to stop the noise??

Fit and size were fine. The leather was so stiff it hurt my feet. Had to return.

I wear size 40 narrow in Birkenstocks. That was the right size for me in this sandal as well; but my heels kept sliding off the sandal. Interestingly enough, the same sandal, same size in suede fit fine and I didn’t have the problem with my heels sliding.

I was shocked at how heavy and 'galummppy" these shoes were. I expected the style, but the weight caught me by surprise.

The fit is consistent with my other Birks and the soft footbed is great. However, I hate the extra large straps because they look geriatric. Mostly, the cheap plastic buckles are not par with the price and these shoes SQUEAK WITH EVERY STEP. I'm so disappointed.

This shoe seems to run Almost a 1/2 to a full size short to me. Also, the color on my monitor is a very pretty light aqua; when I got these I thought the color was off, it was a dusty blue. I sent them back :((

The biggest problem I had with these sandals was the plastic buckles. When I fastened them and then wanted to unfasten and try a different setting it was almost impossible to unfasten them. I was afraid I might break the buckle. Also, the color wasn't what I was expecting and I decided I wouldn't wear them enough to keep them. I have 5 other pairs of Birkenstock Arizonas and these were a disappointment.
