These boots are the most comfortable boots I've had, and I think they look awesome! They are heavier than other boots I tried, but it's because of the extra safety components in the boot.

Been wearing these to work every day for about a month now and no major complaints. Very comfortable right out of the box. The only downside I've found is they squeak like all hell on just about any flat surfaced floor which I'm praying will subside as they break in.

These boots are big, clunky, heavy, and super comfortable. They don't say anything about being insulated, but I don't think winter is going to be a problem. Summer, they might not be ideal (I live in Indiana). Feels like I have 2" risers on with this shoe. Fine for driving my work truck, but a sports car with a stick might be troublesome. I do landscaping work, and I expect these beasts to hold up for a while. They seem extremely well built. I have not worn them out on the job yet, so I cannot attest to the waterproofness. This in my first pair of Timberlands, so I am eager to see how they compare to my usual suspects (Keen and Ecco). I'll say it again, because it deserves to be repeated, these are incredibly comfortable out of the box. Not too far off of tennis shoes, but with the added bonus of stomping some mud. Zappos rocks. Out.

I've worn, redwings, dancer, keen, brunt and many more and finally I found a boot that is comfortable with not daily fatigue. Only downside is they are a little heavy

I have purchased two Timberland 6" work boots, one with a composite toe and one without. I had high hopes for each, and each is even better than I had hoped. After a couple of months, I could not be more pleased.

The boot is light weight and very comfortable. Is handling the harsh environment I work in. It is a no brainer that I would buy again.

I first had these boots when I was a conductor for the Railroad, they handled great even after walking on all that ballast. Now I work as a mechanic and on the concrete all day my feet are great by home time.

Whatever Timberland did to make these soles comfortable and to stay that way for a long time keep doing it!!! I get a pair every year and I'm constantly on my feet. I practically sleep in them and I've been wearing them for so long I barely wear my sneakers!!!! Keep up the great quality!!!!

These boots will last if taken care of and the only ones that have room in the toe, but their heavy.
I like Timberland boots but the toe is always to small.
Redwing has that king toe boot and I wish Timberland would go with that also. It would give more options. Timberland boots are kind of heel to toe straight.

I wore them with two pairs of socks inside the house for a day. They were comfortable from the start. I would say that they required little to no break-in.

I have been wearing Ariat boots for nearly two years while working in the power services industry and they always hurt. I ran across these and I will literally buy them every year for work. Super comfortable

I've bought the timberland pro original boots and honestly hated them! They're still in my closet to this day as my retired pair because they hurt my ankle so bad on the back! Much better design!!!

The break in period can be a bit ruff until the cuff gets it's flex but after that it's smooth sailing.

Waterproofing: If you submerge any leather boot in water it will leak All boots not wrapped in rubber; such as mucks or waders will eventually leaked. Leather is porous and absorbs water. They make a number of products out there from neetsfoot oil to simple boot wax to put an extra layer of protection between your boot and whatever water you're waiting through. Even with these protectants your boots will still eventually absorb and leak water into them. The inside liner is water resistant to a point. I've never heard of a lace-up leather boot meant for full submersion. If you are a plumber and you plan on standing in septics or flooded out basements where Muck boots you morons.
