Only took a couple days to break them in and they feel great on my feet. Outdoors everyday in them hauling farm/construction equipment. They seem to be waterproof but the outside leather seems to soak up water and stay wet. Tried their spray but didn't seem to help much.

Farm and Ranch work, almost no breakin period neeed, very comfortable. Have worn Timberland for 5 plus yrs in wet and not so nice conditions have been very satisfied except my last pair broke out in the back the boots are still in very good shape but unwearable with the back open.

My quest for the ideal work boot keeps leading me back to Timberland. I farm in the mountains of PA and I need a comfortable, waterproof boot that will hold up in the fields, pastures and woodlot. Timberland hasn't disappointed me yet, and this pair of boots is holding up to the rigors of farm life while keeping my feet nice and dry. The soles have excellent, confidence inspiring grip, and the ankles are tall enough to provide good support and protection. They also seem to require very little break in time.
These boots do run a little wide. I have average width feet and the D feels like an E or EE, making it tough to snug them up. Because of this I wouldn't wear these if I knew I was going to be doing a lot of descending. They're also fairly ugly. The black rubber toe thing is pretty hideous (doesn't look so bad in the photograph)and the blaze orange accents stand out a lot. Marry this to the extra width and you have some bulky looking, ugly boots. Probably won't be wearing them to town much, but they'll be great around the farm.

I Love how there is no break in period with these boots! Very comfortable right out of the box! No Joke! I Love the toe caps as well! Will never buy another boot without them! If no caps I would see the composite toes in a few weeks. The paint on toe caps just don't last. These boots holds up really well! The only issue i had with the Boondocks was that they are not waterproof like they says they are. I work in Valdez, Alaska and it rains a lot! So having dry feet is a must! So I had no choice but too return the Boondocks after several months of use. I bought a different brand name boot and that was a Big mistake! They were So Uncomfortable! So I bought another pair of Boondocks!! I don't want to have wet feet all day but I can't find a boot this comfortable! So I am going to treat these new ones with AquaSeal treatment several times a week and I'm hoping that this keeps them WATERPROOF!

Good boots. I'll keep buying them as long as they don't change them.

These are my go to work boot. I've had 3 pairs and on average they last me about a year and a half. Warm enough for 20's and up but once it gets colder than that I have another pair I wear

Bought these for my husband to work in the yard. We bought a house on 3 acres, over half of it wooded, and are doing a lot of heavy yard work... moving logs, tramping around over uneven ground, stomping through poison ivy, cutting back dense brush, pulling construction trash out of our woods... These boots are great. I don't have to worry about a log crushing his toes, they are high enough to protect from possible copper head encounters, have good ankle support, and we like the way they look. Super functional. As advertised.

The boot is very comfortable, the only complaint that could be made is that it is very squeaky on a shop floor. No real issue in the dirt or on most concrete, but a tiled floor or a shiney concrete floor these boots are loud and noisy. Good boot though, a little overpriced.

I have found these boots to be very comfortable and they keep my feet really warm, especially in the Canadian winters.
They are not the lightest of boots by any means, but are very solid and stable.
Often get told how great they look

Well, they are bulky like a space boot would feel. there is no way I could do a 12 hour shift on concrete wearing these. Four pounds per boot.

The boots are over the top. they weigh way too much to wear them on a 12 hour shift. If your looking for a boot that will last you a lifetime, this is it. I'm looking for a lightweight, composite toe, breathable boot. This is not what I'm looking for, even if they sold for much less.
I'd also recommend:

These Boots are way Too Wide and seem to feel about a size to big as well. They'd be a great pair of boots if they were true to size. Good thing the customer service is top notch.

For a manufacturer I've depended on and stood by for a long time in life it's bad . Cost has gone up consistently, yet product is way less work worthy ? My last pair of Tim Pro HD lasted a mere 6 months before failure. So warranty right ......yeah that's a joke now too ! Over a month with many complaints emails and pictures to receive an e gift card for less than purchase price ??? This is no longer a manufacturer I stand any where near . Never minded paying for quality and happy feet , now I might as well buy sub par because same results. Long gone is this brand in work worthy and for why ? I have a table full of examples of just my own purchases to make a full video from years of buying to current status ..... It's gonna be saddening from start in glory to the past 2 years of garbage and failure . Good bye my past boot supplier ! I hope your greed and cheapening goods netted you big bank .

I wear these boots about 18hrs a day. My local workboot store told me about them 4 years ago, and were the best boot. First pair lasted 2 years which was awesome, normally my boots last 10-14 months. I bought my second pair, and just barely got a year out of them. Then the third pair, i bought this spring and have already blown the sides out of the boots and the insides of the boot are falling apart. Might have to switch companies

Love the make and quality of the shoe. Company sent the wrong size( the shoes sent were three sies too small) and when I called the size that I ordered is out of stock. They did not offer anything to make it right .. just an apology.

Didn't even use these a few months before the Vibram soles completely fell apart. Never in my life have I seen such poor construction of a boot at this price. All my past boots have been Timberland but these disappoint!

Bought timberland for 10 years, switched to red wing 3 years ago. Came back for this boot. What a mistake. Side walls have no support, the boot is sloppy and loose around my foot even with the laces tightened as much as possible. Every Time I go to lace the laces go right behind the eyes and side of the boot. Always have to force my feet in but once inside they have so much space I roll my ankle? Terrible design, worse timberland boot I have ever bought. I work construction full time and continue work at home, wear my boots until it's time for bed. Went back to Red wing king toe.
