These are very cute and seem well constructed. I wear a size 8 so I got the M-L size for 8-9. Like other reviewers, I will have to wear socks with these to keep them on. They seem to be relatively wide relative to length, because with socks on my toes are right at the end of the toe box. I don't think the smaller size would fit me. I am keeping them because they are really cute and will serve their purpose just fine with the addition of some socks.

Thanks to Zappos wonderful customer service, I got my exchange for Large (8-9) from huge XL (9.5-10) immediately. They fit fine although I am usually a 9.5 and even occasionally a 10. Fit like socks but the softness makes that comfortable. Warm feet this morning are very happy.

I loved the booties - super warm and very cozy. The only problem was having to choose the 8-9 size (I am an 8) so they feel more like a 9 and slip off my heels. I think I will keep them anyway because with thick socks they slip less and the warm and cozy factor is winning me over. They are also a little wide.

I am a solid 8 1/2 and my toes were hitting the front so that wasn’t good. I did try them on with moderate weight socks, but even without socks they would have been too small. Also, with my high arches, they were hard to get on. I should have paid attention to that in the reviews (I saw one as I recall). They are cute! I am a sucker for owls so hate that they didn’t work out!

My left foot is a little bigger and I thought the 8-9 would be perfect, but unfortunately the right foot was way too large especially around the ankle. If you're a true 9 these may work, but if you're an 8-8.5 I think they'll run large. Are cute, comfortable, and warm. Fairly squishy in the footbed.

Idk. Just felt cheap to me. Returned for a slightly more expensive slipper but made of real wool and rubber. Much better quality for the price. And they’ll last longer. These don’t feel worth what they are asking here. Maybe just me..

This is the second pair I've purchased and they are great slippers, very comfortable and warm. But the tab that helps you pull them on broke the second day

These seemed comfortable and the style is cute but the sizing just did not work for me. I'm 8.5N so I first tried the large and it was much too big even with a thick sock. So I tried the medium and the fit was better but too short. My toe was pushing against the end. The opening is rather small even for a slender foot like mine so beware if you like to wear socks with slippers. You'll have to tug them on. I sent them back and ordered the Old Friend Bootee size 9 and it's a keeper.

These slippers are very cute and warm. Unfortunately, they slipped on my feet (too much movement at the heel), even with socks. I'm a size 6, so I wasn't expecting this problem with a slipper sized "5-6", but it's just the nature of the design. I knew the slipping would bother me, so I returned them.

I normally wear an 8.5 and the length here was as expected, it felt larger... not sure a full half size, maybe. But it was also on the list as a narrow, and it was super wide to me. What was narrow about it is the opening. It was actually difficult to get my foot into this. While some boots and slippers can stay on and be a little loose by having an ankle opening - and adding in foot supports - this one was not worth trying. The foot bed too wide and folding over immediately, the opening was rubbing against my ankle uncomfortably. And the price is high enough to expect it to fit better and last longer than others. I have no idea about the length of lasting time, since I returned them. What I assess about the quality is - well made outer fabric with soft fleece - very comfy, a good weight for a slipper indoors where it is not too cold. I tend to get cold feet, so was hoping for this weight. However, both fleece and outer weave were not as thick as my outdoor boots from Woolrich in similar fabric outer that could be bought to use as indoor boots if you are in a cabin, using wood fire only, etc. - just to give a comparison. I do like the design of the slipper I chose, but it matters little if the fit is no good.

I really like the style of these, but they are a soft foam sole which felt very wobbly and the actually bootie part of the slipper was very big on my foot. They probably would be fine with thick socks, but I want something I could wear without socks and these slipped off my foot.

I normally wear a size 10.5 in a shoe so of course I ordered the pair that said 9-10.5 thinking they would probably be snug - just the opposite these were at least a size maybe a size and a half too big. My spouse who wears a men's size 11 put them on and said if they were half a size larger he would wear them.
