I love these slippers! I was looking at Uggs, but I did not want to spend the money. I am glad that I did, so far they are very comfortable and they seem pretty sturdy.

My feet have arthritis and I thought these would be as amazing as they look and feel. I'm sad to say they hurt my feet. I don't think they would hurt others or most people, but my feet have a lot of issues. So sorry!

This is not a bad slipper, I just found another Minnetonka slipper that was more comfortable that I liked better. These have some measure of support, more than you average scuff and a good sole for traction. It would be a decent replacement for Uggs if you want a cheaper version. Uggs have a thicker sole but cost around $100 and don't hold up to wear well. Therefore, I no longer think they are worth the money.

I bought these to replace Uggs that the dog ate. The “top” part that goes over the foot does not have the fur. They are a bit stiff when walking so best to keep your feet straight. Overall, with socks so the bare top part doesn’t touch your skin, these are warm and fine for me. But if I was asking for a gift, I’d ask for Uggs.

I used to buy the same style slipper at a big box store for years and then they disappeared. This slipper looks the same but isn't. I had to return the size 9, which is what I wear in shoes, and replace it with a size 10. I can now get my feet into them, but the top over my foot is extremely tight. They did not come in a wide. I kept them, homing they will stretch to my feet as I wear them.

i wish i could keep these but they are very wide on my foot - i wear an 8.5M and ordered a 9 - my foot is on the very edge of the shoe so they run a smidgen short, but they are very wide across the top of my foot so wouldn't keep my foot snuggy warm. so, i'm sending back. :(

Meh...not terribly impressed with this slipper. I have another pair, very similar in style with actual shearling trim and lining/footbed that is MUCH more comfortable. I found that the top curve of the new Minnetonka slipper came too far back on the footbed and it tends to rub my foot in the back of my arch (near my ankle). Not nearly as comfortable as my Eurow slippers that end in the middle section of my arch. Also, I should have read the description more carefully - this is FAUX shearling so my foot will perspire more. My bad. To the others who may read this review, this is FAUX SHEARLING.
And Zappos, ordinarily I have nothing but effusive compliments for the manner in which you package and ship your products. This time, I'm seeing red. Two boxes of slippers could have easily fit in the outer box used to ship this slipper! The reason I'm complaining is because I live in Panama' and use a mail forwarding service to receive my mail from the USA. I am charged not only by the gram of weight, but by the size of each box. So this has cost me at least half of what I saved on the price of these slippers. Please don't oversize the shipping boxes. It's wasteful and expensive.

I felt that the top of the slipper was too long, i.e., it hit my ankle when walking, which I didn't like.

Love the style of this slipper. They are so cozy and comfortable. So when my first pair were too worn to wear and quickly purchased another. The quality must have changed because after about 4 months the toe area on the suede was wearing thin and ripped (the interior lining was intact but the exterior wore thin). My old pair never had this problem. Perhaps I got a defective pair. I now need a new pair of slippers and I'm debating if I should buy a 3rd pair. Also I'm usually a size 8/8.5 I purchased size 9 for a comfortable fit.
I'd also recommend:

The slipper is comfortable enough. The issue with slippers is that they stretch quickly. These were not snug to begin with so I am a little concerned that I'll have to scrunch my toes to keep them on walking up stairs (the reason my old slippers had to be given up). I'd have liked them a little more snug.

I had, previously, all Old Friend slippers. When one got paint on it, I tried these. I have to say, the tag inside on the base rubs against my foot. I hated it. So I cut it out. That did not help either; the feeling was still present. It is extremely uncomfortable. The base of the slipper is thin, not padded like Old Friend slippers. I cannot return due to cutting out tags (whose dumb idea was it to sew "Minnetonka" on leather, right where your foot rests?) but I will need to put out more money to buy another pair of Old Friend slippers.
I'd also recommend:

To be honest, I'm disappointed in these. They're warm and sturdy for sure, but now that I've worn them for a while the fur gets clumpy inside, and the sole I had hoped would "break in" is so sturdy that I'm still walking on a hard, unforgiving surface. When I can buy a pair of more comfy slippers I will, and these will be fine for going outside.

The stitching on the left slipper where the top of the fur part of the slipper meets the heel, isn't right. And I can feel that it's not right when I walk in it.

Nice looking but the form doesn’t work. The top of the shoe is too forward for a foot to fit comfortably. When you walk the shearling top hits your leg, and doesn’t allow enough clearance for your foot to move. This makes it so you walk like a duck. Very bad ergonomics. This is what is causing the many off reviews for sizing. It pushes your foot outside the shoe. I wear an 8.5-9 and ordered a 9. My foot was over the back of the sole. Redesign people. Redesign. Love Minnetonka and expect more.

Had to return these because the sizing is way smaller than it should be & the supposed wide width felt like a medium or even narrow width. Very disappointed in the Minnetonka brand. Style is good but it’s useless if it doesn’t fit. Wide width should mean WIDE. Most uncomfortable house slipper I’ve ever tried. If you have wide feet don’t bother with this brand! I normally wear a size 6W but these missed the mark completely.

So every year, I go to Target, buy the same average slip on house slippers, wear them till they fall to pieces, lather rinse, repeat. This year I decided to just order off Zappos. Love everything about Zappos, found these slippers, bought them in the same size 10 I've ordered for years and the first thing out of the box I thought "those look small." Then I went to put them on and said, yep, small. Except, when I hold them up to my feet, they appear to be the correct size. What's the problem then? Well, the opening for the foot is tiny. Mind you, I don't have a dainty foot, but it's a house slipper, not a ski boot. You are supposed to just slide your foot in and go about your day. I could not get my foot in all the way. Even cramming it in resulted in atleast a half inch at the toe, and my heel hanging off the back. And who wants to CRAM their foot into a house slipper anyway? I'll try my luck with an 11, just because the inside felt like butter.

These slippers are at least one size too small. I ordered these because I didn’t want to pay 3x the price for Uggs, but the sizing sucks. I ordered an 11, which is my size in the ugg croquets... but the minnetonka chesney scuff slippers are nothing like them. If these were true to size I feel like I’d be happier with them. Only keeping them because I need something now, but my heel rests at the very end of the slipper. I do not recommend these slippers if you have large feet like I do.

These feel like a pair of cheap slippers. The label in the sole is sharp against my feet. Way too wide. I plan to return them.

I purchased a pair of of these slippers when I was pregnant and I loved them so much that I purchased another pair. Well I started wearing my new pair for about a month or two (at home only) and the toe area on both shoes are wearing poorly. One already had a small hole! I'm so disappointed in the quality of this slipper which must have changed because my original pair lasted me about a year and was so comfortable. What a shame and waste of money.
