I loved these shoes, they fit my wide with high in-step feet perfectly well. Plenty of room in toe box and slightly loose in the heel like Dansko clogs of yesteryear. They also looked lovely on my feet--a booty/loafer hybrid. I am bummed that I must return them. Dansko shoes made in China (like this pair and clogs as well) emit such an awful chemical smell and these were no exception. In the past three years I've had to return Dansko clogs and shoes because of this strong chemical smell. They were sitting atop my office chair and stunk up my whole cubicle, no joke. If you're not sensitive to chemical smells, then go for it. I know leather shoes emit some odor because of the leather processing and dyes, however, anytime I get shoes made in China (especially running shoes or those made with synthetic materials) the odor is intolerable.
