I have finally found the perfect winter boot! This boot is stylish, versatile AND functional for the harsh New England winters. It has qualities that the sheepskin UGG variety does not have - it has great traction, is waterproof, and is easy to clean (I just use a microfiber cloth to wipe off any salt stains). While not as warm as the sheepskin type of UGG, the Simmens still keep my feet dry and warm after walking through snow and slush. I certainly feel that this pair of shoes is worth its price. I wear a size 7 in the UGG classic short and 7.5 in most other shoes. I ordered both the 7 and 7.5 in the Simmens and fit better in the 7.5, so I would recommend ordering your usual shoes size in the Simmens.

Used these boots to travel/sightsee. They were comfortable to walk long distances and kept feet dry while walking in the rain.. They are hard to get on, but once on are comfortable to walk long distances in.

The boot looks great in pictures, up close it's disappointing. It is very difficult to put on since they are very tight across the instep.

This is a great boot ! They look adorable on. Aside from the great looks, they are extremely comfortable, warm and waterproof. I bought these boots for the spring/fall/rain season. I love a good shoe that is versatile and looks good with anything and these certainly fit the bill !

Get boot for cold wet weather. Perfect for walking in the city. Extremely comfortable and warm.

I usually wear 8.5 but decided to purchased the 9 for extra room, which is not uncommon for me to do. Even with thick socks, the shoes were too big for me. I had to return them, which is a shame because they look great.

I bought these boots to wear to my son's Soccer tournament weekend! I usually wear a size 6.5 and have a wider foot than normal, after reading other reviews I went up a half size. The boot fits perfect! They are very comfortable and stylish and arrived just in time for Snow, ice and rain! I think these are well worth the money..

Love to wear them with jeans or leggings! Everyone loves them and wants to know where I found them!

The Boot is really great looking. But I need an hour nflexible sole for my food problem.

cold weather use comfortable boot once the foot is inside the boot. heal is very stiff - hard time sliding foot into the boot.

I got these to use in my walking/train daily commuting. They're working out great. A bit stiff at first to get on (where your heel slides in) but is getting better. I assume I just have to wear them in a bit.

These are replacing a black pair of traditional Uggs that I've had for years, except this time I wanted something that is also waterproof. I have the brown [waterproof] Adirondack too. These are not nearly as warm as the traditional ones but the trade-off is the waterproof quality. They are also far more stylish and can be worn with jeans and skirts, creating "a look." They feel a little roomy, although I always wear a size 7 in Uggs but maybe its the style with less shearling. Anyway, the size could be just right with a sock and I never wore socks with the traditional style. If you are on the border between sizes, I'd recommend the smaller size. They also felt a little stiff at first but again, its a waterproof leather boot not a suede, shearling-lined cold weather boot. And after a couple of wears, they are fine. My opinion-- the boots are great looking, versatile, very comfortable and waterproof.

These are great quality boots. I was a bit hesitant on purchasing these but I wanted a boot that can combat the cold weather as well as the rain. These boots are perfect! Fully lined even the foot bed which makes them extremely comfortable. Being a college student, I begin my day walking though campus at 8am til 6pm and my feet feel fantastic! I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Also, very stylish with leggings or jeans. Also, I usually wear between 5, 5.5, 6 in shoes and 5.5 were perfect!

These are my favorite boots of all time. I live in Boston and we're having the worst winter, and these boots are making it better. They're comfortable and cozy, without looking dowdy. They look great with skinny jeans or leggings. They're waterproof and have good stability on ice or in snow. The only time I don't wear them is if I'm going to be in really deep snow -- I want a taller boot then. Seriously. Best boot. They were a little tight when I first put them on, but stretched a bit very quickly and now I can wear them with wool socks, no problem. My feet have never been happier in winter.

It's the perfect boot for traveling. The zipper made it easy and quick when you go thru TSA. The shaft of the boot can be worn with your jeans tucked in or out. Don't wear white socks with it. The red inside rubs onto my white socks.

I own three pairs of Ugg Classics in a size 7 and they are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. I based my online purchase of the Simmens boot on the size of my other Uggs, even going up half a size just in case. The Simmens is a beautiful boot but unfortunately they were too small and I had to return them.

I bought these boots to replace much lower quality mid-rise brown boots that I wore for work/school, with jeans/dresses--basically all the time, in all kinds of weather. I am very satisfied with this choice--they look great with tights/dresses, skinny jeans, and boyfriend jeans, and with the winter weather we've had in Ohio this season they have been great for traction on slippery snow/ice. They are supportive and break in nicely. Very comfortable. Couldn't be happier.

I live in Chicago, and waited far to long to finally start looking for winter boots. I had trouble finding stylish, yet warm boots in my size. I found these and love them! My only complaint is that they are very, very hard to get on. The heel is very stiff so I fight to pull them on. Once they are on, they fit great!

I live in FL but was finally able to wear my boots in Breckenridge, CO. We had 12 inches of snow while we were there and my boots were GREAT!! Easy to walk on the snow/ice, so so so comfortable and stylish. I love my purchase.

I use these boots mostly for work, they look great and work great for this winter weather!

I wanted a comfortable shoe that also kept my feet warm and dry in cold weather. These are perfect and stylish at the same time.

I like the boots! I can wear them with the flap up or down depending on the look I want.
