I'm extremely picky about my winter boots. These are the perfect shaft height for my 5'2" self. I usually get 7.5 or 8 and the 7.5 are great. I put them on with some wool socks as I'm planning on wearing them on my London/Scotland trip in January. I'll be doing a lot of walking and think these will be just right.

I purchased the UGG Simmens boots for a winter trip to Paris. Love that they are waterproof! I literally walked for miles in these shoes with no problems. My feet were dry and comfortable all day. I have narrow feet, so they were a little big in the width. I typically wear an 8 or 8.5 (or 39 in euro sizes) and I ordered an 8.5 in this shoe.

Like many other Zappos customers, I always struggle to find good shoes. I'm a size 12, so just finding a shoe that is MADE in size 12 is the first struggle. After that, I'm rather flat-footed, so I don't like too much arch support, but I do like comfy memory foam and other luxuries. For this pair of shoes, though, I had a particularly tall order. I was going on several interviews, ranging from Oregon to Pennsylvania to North Carolina (and too many states in between). I bought a separate pair for the actual interview days, but I needed a pair of boots as well, for touring and dinner outings in snowy conditions. I needed good boots that were 1.) Available in size 12 for my massive feet, 2.) Professional enough for dinner meetings and tours (with pants covering the top), 3.) Waterproof for snow and rain (some were in January and February), 4.) COMFORTABLE, for speed-walking through airports and touring buildings. I was laughed out of 3 brick-and-mortar shoe stores before crawling into the warm arms of Zappos. Even if I did find boots that fit the bill, they were over $200, or only available in toe-crushing size 11. It's hard to have big feet as a lady. These boots were still a bit pricey for my budget, but I took a chance, buying these and 2 other pair. These boots are AMAZING. It was like they descended from heaven into my living room. They fit perfectly and needed no break-in, they are super comfortable (from the footbed to the shaft), the lining is really nice and soft (and warm, but not TOO warm, as I've worn them in my home state of Florida too), and they look wonderful, capable of both professional (with long pants they just look like loafers) and cute (with leggings and dresses even). I wore them all over Philadelphia, Eugene (Oregon), Bethlehem (Pennsylvania), Blacksburg, and more, and my feet never got sore. My only complaint would be that there's not a ton of arch support, but then again, I wasn't expecting that with boots anyway. The footbed is comfy enough for all-day walking and standing. I've also worn them while teaching, which includes standing for 7+ hours. These boots are wonderful, and worth every penny!! I highly recommend them.

These are GREAT boots! VERY comfortable and warm. I love them and the price was better than most places.

A bit difficult to get on the first few times. Other than that, these boots are everything you would expect from UGG brand.
