I'm having a love-hate experience with these. I bought them 2 weeks ago in the black leather. I live in Chicago so need good casual waterproof daily shoes for the wintry slush. I have worn them at least a little almost every day, and most times have left them in once home. I am a true 10.5 with narrow heels, wide forefoot, and a low volume foot. I ordered both a 10 and 11. I think a 10.5 would have fit best so I will say they are true to size. They are not very attractive in an 11, but I don't think that's the fault of the shoe. They are roomier than they should be (since Ugg doesn't make a 10.5) but still fit well even with thin athletic socks on and don't rub anywhere. They fit almost right with a thicker wool sock. I almost always have a problem with heel slippage and these are some of the best boots i have put on. There was also plenty of room in the tow box. I did not have a problem getting my foot into them like some reviewers have mentioned. I wish more companies made a 10.5. I have snow boots to wear if I'm really trudging through snow so that's not what I bought these for. My feet have stayed warm and dry through some rain/light snow/slush. They are comfortable if not the most supportive shoe. These fit the bill for my style. I wear scrubs/gym shoes most days. Otherwise very casual daily use with Jeans. I have young kids and these are great for running errands. I think they could be amazing if they made my size. The style is lacking for me. Despite those problems, I think these are going to be a wardrobe staple for at least this season.

After reading all the reviews, I ordered the boot a half size larger. I’m a 6.5m, I ordered a 7m. Perfect!! As the others wrote, as soon as I tried them on, I didn’t take them off until hours later. Truly comfy. I plan on wearing these with skirts and tights and of course jeans.

These look brown in the picture, but they're actually purple with olive green fabric! The boots were comfy, but I'm not in the market for purple boots! If you're looking for brown, don't choose the "stout" color.

I purchased these a year ago for a one week trip to London. Walked approximately 10 miles a day, they looked great with all outfits. So basically after about 70 miles and my feet still feeling awesome I can’t say enough about these boots. I just bought second pair in black as I saw they were on sale. I’m set for next winter. On an ending note I have had both plantar Fasciitis and sciatica these boots did not aggravate either condition in fact they made me feel better I wear them to work where I walk 5 to 6 miles a day and that’s great too.

I have been looking for a boot that was lightweight, easy and quick on and off (side zipper was a must), good in any weather and that had style so I could go from walks/hikes with the dogs, to school pick up or to meet friends for coffee or drinks and I FOUND THEM! I have difficult feet to fit (bunion on right foot) but as others said, these fit right out of the box, and were comfortable immediately. Living in NYC, I walk everywhere (over uneven streets and pavement) but also am outside the city hiking and walking and needed a boot that could go everywhere -- and since my feet make it clear to me immediately when a shoe or boot is not going to be comfortable or provide enough support - I was beyond thrilled when at the end of the first day of wear, I could have kept them on all night, too! The top is a bit wider at the top but look great with tight jeans/leggings and my boot cut jeans easily go over the tops, no problem. Thank you Zappos for your quick shipping and easy return policy (so the many other boots I tried could go back) and I was able to try (and try again) until the perfect pair arrived. I love these boots! I am a fan of Uggs anyway, but these are really waterproof. I live where we have 200+ inches of snow annually and that makes for very wet Fall & Spring! These do not leak! They are perfectly dry inside. I tend to wear them with thin socks as my feet are prone to being cold, but these are lined with a thin wool in the foot area. I don't often leave a review, but I had too as I have been looking for a truly waterproof boot that is attractive and not a rubber boot! This is it! It ran true to size for me.

I absolutely love these boots! I have been searching for boots that are this height, casual but appropriate for work. Minutes after they arrived I wore them for a trip into New York City. The one thing I was concerned about was the warmth. I can only wear my Ugg boots when it is well below freezing. (I run super hot!). My feet did not sweat at all (40° weather). This is now my new favorite pair of boots!

I am very happy with these boots: they are very attractive and comfortable. As some have reported, I had some difficulty getting them on at first (I do have a high instep), but that has gotten easier over time as I have worn them (the loop at the back does help getting them on). I am really looking forward to wearing them this winter. Thanks, Zappos, for your usual great service.

Love these boots! Lots of compliments! Very comfortable. I wear an 8 1/2 and found that the 9 fits the best.

Loved this boot so much that I bought the Simmens boot in two colors: black leather and Stout leather. Been looking for a rain boot. Found this style from UGG that is cute. The black boot has a more moto vibe. The brown boot has a more western kind of feel. The important thing I learned from reading other reviews on ZAPPOS is that this boot is so, so comfortable. The first time I wore these boots was to work the farmers market stand. I was on my feet all day. The boot was warm and provided protection from the rain. Love the nice UGG plushy shearling. And, I didn't have any down time from breaking in the book - it was ready to wear right out of the box. Thanks to the other ZAPPOS reviews that helped me choose this boot syle.

Oh how I wish it would fit me....shoe part felt great, perfect size, beautiful...but couldn't zip up past the ankle. Very sad for me. I must return. If you have thicker ankles this is probably not the boot for you.

I purchased these boots before a trip to Ireland/Scotland in October. I needed a good pair of boots to walk/hike, but still look nice. I ended up ordering these boots somewhat last minutes and was nervous about not having enough time to break them in before leaving. However, these boots were perfect!!! They were comfortable, easy to walk in, warm, and very cute with skinny jeans and dresses. If you have a trip coming up or just want a great pair of boots for rain/snow, buy these boots! They are worth the price and I love ordering from Zappos. Great customer service and the boots showed up very quickly.

These are incredible boots that are made for walking! I absolutely love these boots. I bought them as the only pair of shoes that I took for a winter vacation in Spain - and they did not disappoint! From the moment I put them on, they were super comfortable. Whoever said these are the slippers of boots was right on. Plus they are a little warmer than your average boots, but not so warm that your feet start to sweat. They are just perfect!

Nice attractive boot. Comfortable. Looks good with jeans. A little tough to get on even though it has a zipper, but doesn't reduce how much I like these boots.

At Last! After spending the last 2 months ordering and return boots that did not fit, I found the right one. No exaggeration, at least a dozen pair of boots have come and gone, and that's just the Uggs. I already own 3 pair, but the black ones I have are suede and thus not waterproof. I need waterproof, not just water resistant. And I have narrower feet than most, so it's tricky. These boots fit the bill perfectly. I took out the Ugg insert the boots come with and replace it with an Ugg replacement insert which is a lot more padded and thicker. That's what makes a Medium boot fit a narrow foot. I could tell immediately that these were a true 8.5 and were as comfortable as my other 3 pair. I think the Ugg style with the side zipper is the most true to size, rather than the pull on styles, at least that was what my experience has been. Naturally, these weren't on sale, but as hard as it is for me to find boots that fit, I'll pay regular retail. Now I can walk in the rain or snow without any worries. As always, Zappos speed of delivery and ease of returns is amazing. Love my Uggs and Zappos!

I tried a number of similarly-styled Frye boots but returned them all for their stiffness and poor fit. Although these ran 1/2 size too big for me, once I got the right size, they fit perfectly from the first try on. I can wear them barefoot or with thin, Smartwool socks and they are perfect! Love the style, the warmth and the fit. Highly recommend!

Love these boots. Stylish and comfortable. A touch of the classic Ugg with the soft furry lining while maintaining a sleek, structured shape. My feet are pretty wide and the medium width is very comfortable. Warm but not too warm for a nice fall day. I like that they are waterproof too. Looking forward to wearing them this winter.

These boots are really cute. I was excited reading the reviews of others who bought them for winter Europe vacations as that is my reason for purchasing them. I need a boot that is waterproof, warm and super comfortable for lots of walking. If I could wear them day into evening that would be a bonus. These boots fit the bill except for arch support. I would be happy to use my own insoles for extra support, but the boots have a lovely furry insole that would go to waste with me using my own. Plus my right foot was slipping a lot. I have some foot issues that have led me to be really picky about my shoes, this wasn't the boot for me. Dansko has a super cute short rain boot that has wonderful arch support.

I was so excited to receive these shoes. However, upon opening the box I noticed that the right shoe was significantly lighter than the left. I’m not sure if this is due to an improper application of the waterproof material, or something else. Either way, it’s very disappointing. Additonally, the toe of each boot is quite darker than the rest of the shoe. I have a number of pairs of boots that employ this dip-dyes sort of look, however the contrast on this pair is way too noticeable. One can clearly see the demarcation between the two shades. For what it’s worth, the shoes do feel warm, and like they would be quite suitable for cold weather. Sad to be returning them.

Boot is coming apart after one month of wear. Very comfortable but returning.
