I am a 6.5 or 7. I read the reviews and bought 7.5 and they were really big. Ordered the 7 and hope they fit. I assume when the wool breaks in they will be even roomier. They are pretty roomy in the ankle too.

I received these boots and put them on immediately, even though it is still hot in Colorado. They are so toasty I am actually looking forward to snow. The do fit snug due to the sherpa lining...ut that is what I wanted. Not sure if I should wear socks. They look just like the picture, and the suede is beautiful, I did invest in water proofing spray.

I've been looking for a pair of comfortable black boots to add to the winter wardrobe. I requested three different boots from three different makers from Zappos and these were the ones that stayed with me. I am shorter (5'3.75") and have extremely large calves, so finding mid calf or knee boots to fit is an impossibility. Even shorter shaft boots like these often create problems for me, cutting into the bottom of my calf, but these actually fit just fine with a bit - a small bit - of room to spare (without adjusting the buckle at the top of the boot). That was score #1. The leather on these is soft and moves easily, so that was a win in my book as well. There is also some tread on the bottom of the boot which is a requirement to me when dealing with winter weather conditions (I have not had the opportunity to test the slip resistance of these yet, but remain hopeful). I normally wear a 7.5C or an 8B in shoes or boots, but I like to have a little extra room for thick socks when it gets really cold, so I ordered these in an 8.5. They are a bit large in the foot without a sock (as they were intended to be worn), but I plan on removing the lambswool sole and replace with something a bit more cushiony, so I'll be wearing socks. Which brings me to my final point that there is no arch support in these boots and the soles are pretty hard - no spring or cushion. If you don't like cushion, these would be ideal because other than the fuzzy lamb insole, there is not much there. After adding an insert these will be good to go.

These boots are very cute, but as other reviews mention, they do run a bit small. I normally wear 6.5 (very rarely a 7), but even without socks my big toe was at the very end of the boot, so definitely too small. And I would prefer to wear socks. So back they go. Will exchange for a size 7 and hope they aren't too big! I can't comment on comfort or arch support because I wore the boots for less than a minute.

Well, I'll start out by saying these boots are absolutely adorable. Exactly what I was looking for in a winter boot: stylish, warm, and waterproof. However, I could barely get my foot into them (and I don't have particularly fat or wide feet.) I originally ordered my regular size, but couldn't get them on, so tried a half size larger, and they were still really tight. (I even unbuckled both buckles). Once I finally got my foot in, without a sick, they felt OK, but honestly the struggle wasn't worth it so I sent them back. It would be awesome if UGG offered these in a wide width.

I bought these as an attempt to update the look of my old Uggs - those big brown space boots, the 'classic' look I suppose. The old ones I've had for 6 years and still love the warmth factor but not the look factor . When these came in I was at first disappointed - they are 'heavier' and don't have that slipper-feel. I kept them, however, and I am so glad I did: after one wear my tune changed. While they are not the slipper feel of the Classic design, they are very rugged and cool looking. Extremely comfortable and I wear without socks. The insole softness is not as cushy as the classic, it is not attached and moves around sometimes when you take your foot out. Not a deal breaker though.

A bit narrow and stiff in the toes would hurt too much to wear them long enough to break in. They do zip up all the way over my cankles and big calves, though.

I bought these to replace a similar Ugg style that I had purchased years ago. The previous style was exactly like this one, minus the straps and buckles. The Chaney boot is absolutely beautiful. It is rugged yet refined. Unfortunately, I couldn't even get my foot in the boot! It was extremely tight where the strap went around the top of the foot. I couldn't get it on even after loosening the strap. I am a true size 5 in length and I have always been fine in my actual size with Uggs. Not sure if it's because I have a high arch or my foot is too wide but sadly I will have to return these and keep looking for my next pair of Uggs.

I loved the look of these boots because I'm not a fan of the big clunky Uggs. The fit however is very tight! I can hardly get my foot into the boot. I ordered up a half size knowing I'd want to wear an extra pair of socks when it's really cold, but still find it tight even with one sock on. Very disappointed in the fit. I would agree with another review that they make your feet sore. I am going to try to return them.

A little disappointed when they arrived. They are just okay. They were a little too wide in the toe which makes them look clunky. You can probably get skinny jeans and leggings into them, but might be a little snug

These are good-looking boots, but extremely difficult to get on. If they weren't so comfy once they were on, I would send them back. I am hoping they are easier to get on once they are broken in.

These boots were just okay. With jeans on, there wasn't a whole lot of difference in looks from the regular Ugg boots. You couldn't see the buckles or anything unless you wore them with jeggings or jeans tucked in. They have zero arch support.

I'm a 7-1/2 in all shoes except Uggs & I really wanted this boot. Alas, 7-1/2 is indeed too small for me & now, Zappos is out of the 8. I hate when that happens! Grrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I absolutely adore the look of this shoe but it was very uncomfortable. I wear a 6.5 and ordered a 6.5, but I would return it for a 7 so I could wear a sock. I could pull off the 6.5 with a very thin sock, but I would prefer a little more room. The boot is very tight within the ankle, and I felt like I was walking on rocks the moment I put it on. I am afraid I would never get these broken in, and due to the price, I am returning these.

Couldn't get my heel into this boot. Gorgeous look, but Ugg always seems to fail me on the construction. Too expensive for a poorly fitted boot. Returned.

Bummer. I have ordered a lot of different boots from Ugg, the winners are awesome (Bellevue & Brooks) but I've also returned several as they need a little more R&D. These are so cute, but require 2 people to put on and pull off just like the other reviews have mentioned, so alas, they're going back. Also, it seems the hardness of the heel radiates through the thin shearling, making my heels sore after just a few minutes. This is such a cute style, I hope Ugg will redesign it for next year to be more functional.

I love the look and feel of these boots. But unfortunately they are very narrow in the ankle and very difficult to get on. I am returning them.

Love these, but the opening is just too narrow/awkward to get my foot through. My foot is a normal width, even slightly narrow. It's like the opening is made for someone with a really "flexible" foot. I was able to get them on with a ton of effort plus a shoe horn. Once they were on, they fit so I know the size was right. Not sure what's wrong with the design. Very sad, because I love the look!

Beautiful boots, waterproof, shearling lined. Perfect, except I could not put my foot in them. Ordered half size up, and could barely put my foot in, without socks and tugging really hard. But once my foot was in, that half size up made them big for me. Sadly, had to return them. Zipper should go all the way down, and this problem would be solved.
