Very comfortable and appear to be well made. I agree with the previous reviewer...the insulated upper is warm but too bulky. The toe reads "riding boot" but the upper reads "moon boot". Sadly returning.

These are nice boots but I'm returning them because the shaft is padded and they make my calves bulky looking.

LOVE these boots--I got them in the black leather. They fit true to size, but around the calf is tighter than I was anticipating. They still fit, but just barely. I'm hoping they'll stretch out some, but it's still comfortable. They are so incredibly warm and comfy and wore great right out of the box. I love the sturdy sole; I don't think I will slide much in these. These boot are great for fall and winter. I think I'm going to order them in the stout color as well--that's how much I love them.

The back zipper is very difficult to use. Once I got the boot on I had to stand up and lean forward to get the zipper to pull up above my heel. Stiff and little tread that would allow you to walk on snow or ice. Wish someone would make a good looking tall boot that has real tread on the soles!

Terrible boot. The back zipper is almost impossible to pull up. It bunches at the heel. Very narrow in the calf. I can wear most Uggs but not these. Very stiff and heavy. These are going back!

I love these boots! I read lots of reviews about them being too tight in the calf but I didn't have that issue at all. The only problem I have with these boots is that it's hard to get the zipper up!

Lovely comfortable boot. It is very warm. It would be better if this boot is made waterproof. I like the black suede. There is no trouble zipping it up. I can wear it with leggings and tight. I haven't tried it with jeans yet.

I absolutely loved the boot. Unfortunately had to send them back as I couldn't zip them up more just below my lower calf. So unfortunate as the foot was so comfortable and I loved the style, color and feel of the boot.

These boots are GREAT! I was a little nervous after reading the reviews on here because I'm a runner and have very strong calves (and consider them on the larger side). Many reviews said the calves were too tight. I found the exact opposite, they fit perfect! The extra padding provides extra comfort and warmth. These are a great buy and would look good with leggings, skinny jeans, or a skirt. I'm very excited about this purchase and say they live up to the typical UGG quality! :)

Gorgeous boots and very classy. I was afraid they wouldn't fit with thicker socks -- they did beautifully. I normally wear 7.5 to 8 though mostly 8. These in a size 8 fit perfectly. I was hoping they would be darker than the stock photo and they were -- a dark chocolate brown is how I would describe them. I was concerned that they would be too tight at the calf but they fit nicely - a little snug over leggings/jeggings but in no way tight. Overall I am very happy, these boots are just what I needed to get me through New England winter weather while managing to look classy and smart as well. Zappos service has been great.

I bought this boot in black from a local store. I'm usually a seven, but I did have to go up to a seven and a half because they were a little narrow. If you have a foot that's "normal" I don't think you'll have an issue, I tend to have feet that are wider than shoe manufacturers think is normal. The calf of the boot is smaller than marked here- I have 14" calves and they fit me perfectly, but it won't fit much bigger. The boot is well made and very, very warm and in the full grain leather they're reasonably water proof. They have very good grip on slippery sidewalks. They're the perfect boot if you live somewhere cold, snowy and occasionally wet, as you can wear them in snow without looking like you're wearing snow boots. They do have a padded calf section, which is part of why they're so warm, but I suppose if you worry about people staring at you're calves and worrying they might seem an iota larger than normal they might not be for you.

I loved this boot, but it was so tight in the calf that I could not get it zipped up past mid-calf. The style was perfect for what I wanted -- style, classic looking with no hardware and the right heel height. I needed something that provided some warmth and would be good in snow and on ice. I had to return.

Amazing boot! Very comfortable. They are extremely warm so make sure you are looking for a boot you can wear on very cold weather.

I really love these & very warm! The padding on the inside is a little thicker than what I expected but I still love them, would recommend getting 1/2 a size bigger.

This was my 3rd attempt to find a stylish, tall, winter boot. The first was the Ugg Brooks Tall, which wasn't tall enough. The 2nd was the Rieker Syallibe 72 which was very stylish, but too tight around my ankle and calf. I loved it, but it wouldn't fit especially if I was going to zip them over jeans or leggings. The Ugg Seldon was the best one yet, but still a little clunky looking. I'm also not a fan of back zippers, (which I found are much easier with a zipper pull). But I also ordered a pair of La Canadiene's (Caleb) and although they're much more expensive, they met all my criteria and I love them. The foot pad feels better, they're still a little tight, but will work. So these had to go back. If the last hadn't worked out, I would have kept them. They're a good deal for the price.

They are a very good pair of boots, warm and very good looking. I am returning them because my calves will not fit if I use leggings or socks underneath. It is sad because I like them so much.

I liked these boots! I do not have big calfs and found these are pretty cute with the thicker/padded top. They flare out a little at the top which gives them a style of there own. I got the black suede and they are simple comfortable boots. I wear a 9, got a 9 and they fit great.

Beautiful boot with great warmth. Unfortunately, the ankle area stretched out so much that I could not keep my heel in place and was slipping around. The base of the footbed is cushioned, but very stiff. I have small calves and these were almost too big.

These were very basic black boots. They have the Ugg lining on the footbed which is nice and the shafts are insulated so they would be great for colder weather. They are comfortable and didn't bite my ankles. The toe box has ample room and the shaft is the perfect height. Like other reviewers have mentioned, the insulation on the shaft makes these a little bulky, but it wasn't overwhelming and they didn't look awkward in my opinion. However, there is nothing that makes these stand out for me. For the cost, I felt I could find nicer looking boots.

I loved my other Uggs for years, until I wore through the lining and I really wanted to love these. The boot looked great on it's own, but wasn't very flattering when I put it on. Also it was a very slim fit, and didn't even have room for my slim fit jeans inside the boot so I am returning. I ordered the size I normally wear, a 9.

The boot runs small. Zipping the boot up is where the problem occurs. In order to zip up the boot very thin socks had to be worn. Forget about wearing socks that are somewhat thick. Once the zipper was up, walking was different. I'm afraid to wear them for fear of blisters. The boot's style is okay.

I have another pair of UGG boots that are similar in design that I absolutely love, so I had high hopes for these. Unfortunately, the shaft was too wide for my calves. I'm sending them back.

These are so cute but the shaft is too wide. I had several inches in each direction. So comfortable, but going back.
