These are amazingly light and comfortable, almost disturbingly so in that they don't have the feel of substantial boots at all. I'm something of a minimalist and so I like this as well as the lack of arch and whatnot. One thing that takes some getting used to is the feeling that nothing's holding your foot in. No laces, no weight from the boot, almost nothing. It's not like any other winterish boot you've had.

I am a 6.5 so I purchased a 7 because it said they ran small and there are no half sizes. The seven was much too big (too long and too wide), so I returned them for a 6 which are now too small. My toes press uncomfortably to the seam at the very tip. I need this boots for literally the 20 minutes I intend to wear them for my outdoor winter wedding under by gown, so I will deal with the 6 being too small but I will likely never wear them again. They are cute but they are also flimsy and not sized accurately so I do not recommend purchasing.

I LOVE THESE BOOTS! Since the day they arrived, I have basically only taken them off to sleep. Super lightweight, stylish, and somehow warm when its freezing outside and yet not too hot for spring temps! What?! I know!! They are roomy enough to house my custom orthotics too AND I wear them all day long at work and my feet don't sweat. Crazy but true, these boots are a miracle.

I ordered these for walking in the snow. They are comfortable, dry and sized right on. I love them!

I bought these boots for a pond hockey tournament and they did not disappoint. I am picky about boots and do not like anything that feels restrictive or tight. I wore these boots all day standing on the pond and they felt light weight and comfortable.

I am really happy with this boot and it is exactly what I was looking to purchase. The boot is very light and the perception is that it would not be warm. I have worn it in below zero weather dog walking and it is warm to low temps. The nubs on the sole are insignificant to traction for me. Love the toggle. You have to pull the lining piece up before putting them on or your foot gets a little stuck at the ankle. Would recommend for sure.

Bought these in October and now that it's gotten cold enough to try them out, I could not be happier with them. Cute (in a geeky way), light as a feather, and WARM. I wore them to walk to work and back (4+mi) yesterday in 16F temps, and my feet were almost too warm. AND they're comfortable for walking distances in. Absolutely no complaints -- love them!

Love these boots! I am usually a 8.5 in tennis shoes and the 9 is perfect. I really wanted a boot that was waterproof, but not bulky and too warm. These are great!

Wow, I love these! I needed a warm, lightweight boot and these are perfect. I especially love how lightweight they are. I hate wearing heavy boots that are hard to walk in. My feet have plenty of space in these. There's not much support at all -- it's more like wearing a slipper. I highly recommend you try them if you're considering these boots. I wear a size 9 in other North Face shoes, running shoes and hiking boots (Brooks, Merrell, Inov-8, Mizuno), and I ordered a 9 and 10 since many of the reviews said they run small. The 9s fit perfectly. I just love these right out of the box!

These boots are so lightweight it is hard to imagine that they will be warm. They feel like light slippers on my feet. But I checked the North Face website and they claim that they are made for winter conditions and that Thermoball insulation is the equivalent of 600-fill down. So I am exchanging them for a larger size and crossing my fingers for when the cold arrives. I would like half a size larger but since they do not come in half sizes I am going up a whole size and hoping that will not be too big. They are very cute - stylish yet practical. The shine is more of a sheen which I like. I have a shiny black jacket and was concerned that it would be overkill if the boots were that shiny, but they are not.

For a 11 year old fashionista - perfect fit. It's not as warm as it looks, but with double socks it was fine during the 2016 East Coast Blizzard.

These are super cute. They are pretty comfortable, though they do not provide much support. They are not warm! I still love them but in really freezing weather they feel like they have zero insulation.

These are cute, stylish, and light. I've been wearing them for a few weeks in Colorado. I like that it feels like I'm not even wearing shoes. There's no arch support so I got insoles and now they're very comfortable. They're warm in the cold weather and have pretty good traction on ice. I usually wear an 8 but I ordered a 9 and they fit perfectly. I'm not sure I would wear them in deep snow and slush though.

True to all the reviews. Runs a bit small, very light in weight, not much in the needed support. A very cute little boot but I was looking for a boot more substantial for my needs so will be returning these.

The boots seemed comfy, but they run VERY small. I wear a size 7, except in very pointy shoes or flats, then I size up 1/2 size. These boots are minimum 1/2 size small and since you can't seem to order in a half size, I would recommend ordering a up a full size to anyone who purchases.

I am typically a size 8 but my toes were pushed right up against the front of the boot. I exchanged for a size 9 and they are definitely roomie, but fit well with thick socks and pants tucked in. I was looking for something light weight, warm, and similar to a slipper boot -- but that would do well in wet and snow (unlike Uggs). Other than the strange sizing, they are exactly what I wanted. However, I would not recommend these for a heavy-duty winter snow boot. They do not have a lot of support and don't fit properly to walk long distances. Great for a winter casual/comfortable slip-on!

I ended up returning these due to having high arches. I never thought this would be a problem with a soft shelled boot but there is an elastic ring near the ankle that you slide your foot through (designed as an extra layer of protection to keep snow/rain/dirt out of the foot compartment) but it only expands so far and my arch could not fit with any socks on. I did manage to get it on for a second and even though I have wide feet, it was very roomy. There is no ankle/extra foot support, but I wear sandals 9 months out of the year so this was no problem for me.

I thought these boots would be useful while winter camping, but the insulation isn't enough for serious outdoor activities. They'd be nice for wearing around town in cold weather, or to work on the days we get several inches of snow and things are a bit more casual. My feet are widest right below the toes, and the boots were too narrow for me in that area - my bone joints on the outside edge were squished and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, I've got to send these back. There are two elastic parts to the lining along the leg - one near the top of the boot (with a cord-lock for tightening) and one further down near the ankles. That ankle one might take a bit of getting used to, but it wasn't too bad. That's one way the boots keep your feet warm - by keeping the heated air trapped inside. The inner soles were completely flat - no arch support at all, which didn't bother me but it will some people. The tread on the bottom was significant - these would be good for walking without slipping.

I liked the look of these but I couldn't keep them due to the fit. I found them to be too wide and I couldn't walk without my heel slipping around even though the length was too short. If you have wide feet they might fit perfectly. They are cute and lightweight so I wish they would have worked. Alas, they did not.

Very cute boot. Wanted to make it work. Runs really small then when I went up a size it was to big in the heel.

I love these boots and though I have not yet been through snow in them, they seem warm. My complaint is that one of the buttons on the side fell off after the second wear, that was a disappointment from a North Face product.

It is lightweight however I don't feel that it has heel support. I put in my foot in and it feels like my heels sink. I normally wear a size 6.5 but I do go a size up in boots but even at a size 7, it was still a big snug in the toe area. I have a pair of North Face boots that I've always liked so I thought I'd get another pair but this one is not of the same quality as they made them before. It's too bad for I really liked it lightness. I would have used this to double as rain boots as well.
