This has been an amazing find for me this winter. The boots are very warm and waterproof - just right for the snowy Boston winter. But the best part is that its so light! One of the key issue that I had with my timberland boots was that they were heavy and clunky and not that warm either. Not so with these booties. Being light also make them extremely easy to put it on and off - again another issue that I have had with the my other boots. The size is a bit bigger than marked. I am size 10.5, so I ordered both size 10 and 11 and then returned the bigger one.

These are awesome, functional and warm boots. They are a little cheesy on the looks. I bought these for my husband as take the dog out, shovel the driveway, and small errand boots. He always griped that he never had slip on boots (like my Uggs) that were easy and warm. I found these boots and figured The North Face offered great coats, the boots must be suitable too. Upon arrival, we both thought they seemed a little cheesy, quite flimsy, and not functional. He feels that they run slightly large, and felt like they were going to fly off - but they were fine. He used them for their intended use, and had no complaints. They kept his feet warm and dry while shoveling the snow, and were fine for going to the grocery store and such. He recently had tickets to a football game (Go Broncos!), where the evening temperature was around 11°F. No snow, but frigid temperatures. He did not want to wear his huge blizzard rated Sorels, so he wore these and hoped that they would keep his feet warm. He came home elated as his feet were neither cold nor hurting from standing the whole time. Paired with mid-weight socks, he says his feet were great - perhaps even a little hot. Do not be fooled by these boot's lightweight feel and look, they preform very well and surprised us in their function.

Nice light, easy to slip on and off, great boot for smaller snow falls and wet weather. Fit my guy who wears 9.5 or 10. Would be good for travel as they are light and fold pretty flat. Attractive.

These boots are glorified bedroom slippers. Not suitable for my purposes (outdoors and walking). I will be returning them. AS usual, Zappos was great and delivery was super fast!

I bought these for my Son-in-Law who has major problems with the bones and ligaments in his feet. He got to use them 1st thing Christmas morning (we got one foot of snow and the temperature was 12 degrees). He has RAVED about the comfort, warmth, and water resistance every time that I have seen him since. I recommend these "booties" to everyone that need to spend periods of time out in the snow (snow blowing, horse or chicken chores, etc.) The next person I'm going to treat to a pair is....ME!

Bought these for my son while traveling a lot. They are lightweight and kept his feet dry while walking/playing in snow and ice. They are extremely comfortable and a great purchase!

Very good traction in the snow - still be wary of icy patches. Very warm. True to size. Easy to get on and off.

Got these to augment some very heavy Columbia winter boots that weren't all that comfortable. Since I got these, have not used the Columbias at all. Almost like a bedroom slipper, it slips on easily and can be quickly adjusted to create a seal against snow. So lightweight! Little built in arch support so I just added inserts and they work great. This is now my cold weather go to boot!

Shoes are very warm and very light, but the size is a little small, suggest to buy a bigger one.

Better then expected if have owned a similar type of boot in the past. Like all manufacturers not enough cushion on the bottom of your foot. Easy fix with a off the rack shoes inserts $2.99 makes them perfect.

After trying two other pairs of boots that ran very small to size, these finally fit correctly. What most impressed me about shopping experience is Zappos' customer service. I received each set of boots within a couple of days. I returned the ones that did not fit easily and with no shipping charges. Zappos has a new customer for life.

These look great and actually pretty decent quality. Lightweight as well. I returned them however. Reason being is that there is zero support. Was like walking around with a pillow tied to my feet. Every step my feet would lift and slide. If you aren't going very far, or just something to warm your feet they are good but I wanted something else.

Not very warm. Insulation on top but very cold on the bottom. Elastic hurts my ankle. Incredible gripping sole in snow and ice.

These are pretty good boots. But I had to buy arch supports, and wear 2 pairs of thick gold toed socks. They do keep my feet warm and dry while playing with the dogs in the backyard in the snow.

My son has a high instep and needs a light-weight boot. He could not get his foot into the boot because his toes kept getting caught on the elastic band that runs around the upper portion of the boot. It is enclosed within the lining but it is loose inside and gets in the way. I am returning and will continue the search for a good boot.

Easy to walk in. Incredible sole grips the ice and grabs the snow. The top has good insulation. Plenty of room for the toes. However, the elastic band goes directly over my busted veins, the only fix would be to cut the internal elastic. There's no thermal barrier under the foot. Outdoors the bottom of my foot was quickly frozen and I had to go back and change my shoes.

The shoe don't fit, Jack. Ordered a 10 and it was so large I felt like I was wearing a flip flop because my foot would come all the way up when I walk. Exchange it for a 9 and their is a rubber band inside the boot that cuts off circulation around the ankle. Maybe it's a defect but it made wearing these boots unbearable. Returning yet again and looking for a better solution. Maybe Uggs.

Northface went totally cheap on this boot. The 700 was a perfect boot for living in the mts. & walking your dogs everyday. this boot would work for someone in the city walking from transportation to job.
