These are instantly comfortable right out of the box. The heel makes a great hollow clicking sound on hard floor/ground which makes me feel classy. I wear them often in the rain and haven't had any issues. My workplace is fairly casual and I feel like adding these to my normal jeans/cardigan outfit dresses it up a little.

I love these shoes! I was looking for a nice black shoe for work, something comfortable. I ordered them in my usual size 8.5 and they were a little snug. Returned them for a 9 and they are perfect. I highly recommend these shoes. Great to go to work.

I love these shoes so much that I actively resent everyone who does not compliment me when I'm wearing them. I think to myself "Have you even SEEN my SHOES????" I have pretty flat feet, so the very minor arch support provided is just perfect for me. These shoes are well-cushioned throughout-- including at the top edge of the heel, which is particularly welcome, and I can walk in them all day without my feet minding a whit. They look great with dresses and jeans-- my whole wardrobe. And they aren't TOO showy, just exactly showy enough. In person, they read less as gold and more as metallic brown, and they look great with SO many colors. I want to buy roughly 8 more pairs of this shoe. I wish Clarks offered the range of styles in the US that they have available in England! There are so many more Hamble Oaks I'd like to own.

Love them. The sole looks like dress shoe sole but is actually black rubber. Very comfortable. Fits true to size. I think they look better in person than the pictures. The dark tan leather is perfection! Comfy!

I'm a true 7.5 medium and these fit me perfectly. Very comfortable straight away and sooo stylish! I have fussy feet and can not wear heels, so the menswear look is what I'm aiming for. I'll wear these with trousers, skirts and dresses. They look great with short/mid high patterned socks with skirts/dresses and of course with tights you can't go wrong either. I found these to be very supportive (I have high arches) and super comfortable for a shoe that looks prim and proper :)

These fit like gloves right out of the box. I expected to have to break them in but they didn't need anything like that, super comfy from the get-go. I had been looking for a stylish "comfort" show due to a foot injury I'm dealing with, and these are exactly right! Add a very stylish touch to jeans, dresses, dress pants, you name it. Love 'em!

Great shoe. I wore them right out of the box. I fit into average shoes (don't need narrow or wide) and I wear a US women's size 9. The leather is warm and 'real' looking (not too shiny and stiff looking). The sole is softer than the picture made it look. The leather is on the stiffer side, but will break in with a few wears. I've tried shoes on where the leather is so stiff that you have to work hard to break them in. Not these. They are the prefect blend of mens wear and femininity. I dressed them up with a skirt, and dressed them down with jeans. Highly recommend this shoe if you're looking for the "chic / school-girl / menswear" feel.

Exactly what I was looking for!

I love these oxfords because of their contemporary style and comfort. The metallic goes with so much in my wardrobe and I enjoy wearing them even with boyfriend jeans! I highly reccomend these stylish oxfords.

I love these shoes. They are exactly what I desired. They are true to fit and size. They are very comfortable. Zappos was perfect. They cam in two days. Totally happy.

These shoes are beautiful and well made, but they run REALLY BIG. I typically wear a 9 in shoes, 8 1/2 in sandals. I got a size 8 in these just for length. This has made them a tad snug in the width around my toes, but the leather should give with time and they're not too uncomfortable to wear. I wanted a shoe like this to wear with and without socks, these are very nicely finished inside so they don't rub when I don't wear socks. My feet are too flat to wear sneakers without a lot of discomfort, these must not have very good arch support because they don't bother me at all. Overall, a really pretty shoe with a real heel.

I get so many compliments on these shoes. I love that they are feminine but look like wingtips. They are comfortable to wear and are true to size.

I love these shoes! I have always struggled with flats because my feet are very flat, and most flats don't have enough support (even when I add additional arch supports). These shoes are supportive and comfortable, though their inner padding is less than some other Clarks that I own. The style is cute and versatile, and I like that the heel is slightly raised. The color is gorgeous (ordered the maroon/burgundy color). It's somewhere between a dark brown and a dark maroon, and it looks great with khaki's, jeans, and various colors of tights. I have quite narrow feet but with my arch supports, these still lace almost closed, so I would say that they run standard to wide - if you have very narrow feet, you will definitely need socks or arch supports.

I really like these menswear inspired oxfords. They are really comfortable and look great with cropped trousers.

I was looking for a simple Oxford shoe that was dressy and comfortable. So many look clunky and outdated. These fit the bill perfectly. Am very happy with them!

These are exactly what I was looking for! Would look great with slacks or skirt. The footbed is cushy too. The shoe is slightly narrow so someone with a true wide foot might find this shoe uncomfortable.

These are incredibly stylish and comfortable shoes. Made with good quality. A+ Clarks on this one. I'd get a pair before they sell out. Just wish they had them in a cognac brown. Incredible find!

When I saw the Hamble Oak, I knew they would be perfect for my mother. She loved them right out of the box! She has some nerve damage, which makes finding a comfortable shoe a challenge. Zappos makes easy. *Great Comfort *Fab Fit *Classic Style. Now I need a pair!

Love these oxfords! I wanted an Oxford with a feminine twist and the patent does that I think. Super comfortable and I ordered a half size down after finding too much extra room at the toes.

These are not only cute, but also good for someone with a foot problem - good arch support, lace up, relatively flat.

GORGEOUS! Comfortable, but also gorgeous. Did I say gorgeous? The color is very rich, and the details lend it a feminine flair. Also, this shoe is gorgeous.

I love the look of these for work but am having a hard time breaking them in. They rub on the top of my foot but only on the right shoe. So, I'm going to give them a few more tries. I have tried spraying them with a shoe stretcher spray but I can't get that stuff to work. Trial and error....

I love the style and golden flair so much. But they were a little stiff and narrow on my foot. As much as I love them they're not comfortable for me and I think a halfsize up is too much.
