These seem like nicely made booties, but they are very narrow and delicate. They fit me more like a pump than a boot. I wear a size 7M in everything except high heel pointy-toed pumps. But this boot was way too fitted for me - I could see the outline of my foot bones! I can tell that even if I size up, these will never fit me right. It seems like most regular Clarks are made for much more delicate feet than mine, though the Clarks' Artisan line is always a good fit for me. Aside from the fit, I did not like the style of these boots. They are reminiscent of a Chelsea boot, but seem much more dressy and delicate. The leather is very thin, and they look strangely featureless peeking out from a trouser hem. Oh well, back they go. Most people seem to love these boots, so it is probably just a matter of personal preference.

I left the previous review about being unsure as to whether or not I would return the boots due to a slight rubbing issue on the right foot. I opted to keep them and am so glad I did, as the leather stretched nicely and they are just as comfortable as I hoped they would be. I walked around in them for a few hours this past weekend and the boots were fantastic. They'll be coming with me abroad over the holidays for sure. Great quality!

Let me be the first to say that FINALLY Clarks has made a cute shoe. I've loved them for years but have sent so many pairs back because comfort unfortunately goes with boxy, thick-soled and outdated. I came here to buy another pair of Born chelseas but glad I went for the Clarks. They look great, feel great out the box, and I'm confident will last me longer than the Born six months.

I bought these to replace another pair of Clarks chelsea boots that I wear nearly every day for work. These are a a great replacement. They have a thicker, rubbery sole (better traction) and more padding inside. My older pair I would have to use Dr. Scholl's inserts. Overall I'm happy with the purchase. A solid shoe that I can wear every day for work.

These shoes are great! They are simple, classic boots and can go with anything! I have been hunting them down because they sell out everywhere! I wear between an 8½ and a 9. My feet are not narrow and not wide width. I ordered a size 9 and boy am I glad I did because they definitely run a good half size small and seem a little too narrow. I just bought four other booties and all but these fit fine at an 8½ so I definitely recommend you size up a half size. If you are wide width you may want to go up a full size. If you have narrow feet sizing up a half size still may be a good idea because my shoes fit perfectly. They were not too long. If I had narrow feet I think they would have fit even better. With that being said though I am very pleased with the fit and absolutely think they are comfortable.

These boots are really cute but I have to return them. When I walk, the front leather hits into my ankle. Except for that, which doesn't seem a problem for anyone else, they were comfortable with good support. Sadly, I'll have to keep looking for something like these I can wear. If not for the stiff leather up top, I'd give them 5 stars.

These boots are so, so comfortable! They can be part of a casual outfit and dressy outfit. I am working as a substitute teacher, and they are great for being on my feet all day.

Loved the black pair I ordered so much that i ordered the brown too. So comfortable, cute with everything, I can't get enough of this shoe!Now I just need Clarks to work on making some cute flats, or closed toed wedges that are like 1-11/2 inch heel height...

These boots are amazing! I am so in love with these boots I literally wear them every day. I am a teacher and am on my feet all day and from day 1 they have provided nothing but comfort. In my opinion they look good with everything and spruce a denim outfit up instantly! I really want to order them in brown, and actually considered ordering a back-up black pair- yes I'm obsessed. They fit perfectly, they are nice and fitted on the ankle and the upper is soft and flexible! Go Clarks!

Terrific! great, classic-looking boot -- looks like a paddock or short riding boot, including with the nice pull strap on the back. Both hip and elegant. I've been searching for this style for a few years, and it's harder than you think -- these are just what I wanted. Great with skirts and tights as well as jeans. Key point: they are also very comfortable -- bought these, and immediately wore them all day -- didn't even need comfort inserts as I do with most shoes/boots.

Love these! Comfort right out of the box. I've been looking for a black classic chelsea boot and these fit the bill.

These shoes are very attractive looking. The leather is nice and the footbed is cushy, like Clarks usually are. They are very easy to put on and take off, and the elastic feels like it will not crap out right away. The toe is quite pointy, so if you are not into that style consider looking elsewhere. I would say offhand that they ran maybe half a size small because of said pointiness of the toe box. They did not end up working for me, but I would still recommend these boots!

I love the look and they have a comfortable insole. I am still trying to break them in! They are tough on my heels, causing blisters every time I wear them. They are worth the effort.

I love these boots. They look fantastic, they're so easy to put on and take off, and they're great for a narrow-footed person like myself. The cushy foot bed is nice and these boots are indeed comfortable right out of the box. Unfortunately, the right boot rubs my pinky toe just enough to bug me (especially at this price point), and Zappos is currently sold out of the next half-size up so I'm torn on whether to keep or return. A real shame as these boots are quite lovely.

I had to size down by half a size. Unfortunately it runs narrow. I have a wide foot and it was really tight. Shame I had to return because its a good looking boot.

I love the look of these boots, but they were too narrow. Wish they didn't fit so snug, would have definitely loved to keep them.

Very sorry they don't fit. I usually take a 7.5 and they were tight. And there was a weird little buckle to the leather on the right boot. and little comfort for a Clark's!!

These are really comfortable and almost require no breaking in the shoes. However, I found that if I wear ankle socks, the rim of the boots will scratch my leg. So after wearing it for a week, I realized there is a ring around my leg that was a shade darker than my skin. It is much like how you get that rough skin develop at the back of your feet when you wear flats. For the price of the shoes, I am quite disappointed, they would do that.
