When I travel, I try very hard to only take one pair of shoes. I bought these boots for an upcoming trip to New York City in late October. I have just returned from "road testing" them. THEY ARE PERFECT! There are no hot spots or blisters on my feet. In fact, it feels as if I am wearing a pair of sneakers. There is room in the boot for my own orthotic. The sole and heel offer great support and cushioning. The leather uppers are smart and polished. These boots will look great as I explore NYC. They will be appropriate in any hotel, restaurant, museum or theater. WELL DONE KEEN! WELL DONE!

Absolutely love these boots. I ordered them just before our trip to London and although I brought other shoes to wear, I wore these the whole time. They were very comfortable and I walked all day every day with very happy feet.

I have tried five different boots (made by Born) before finding these. It was a toss up between this one and the Born Martika. The Keen Tyretread boots take the cake for the following reasons: 1) super soft leather, does not crinkle and jet into my skin from the inside where my ankles are, 2) The toe area is very roomy, but not boxy, 3) I am 5'1" and these boots hit in the perfect spot, with about 3" below my knee, 4) The boots, although they are a tad heavy, are so comfortable! 5) They are very well made, sturdy boots. They are not cheap, but the quality speaks for the price. You get what you pay for. I highly recommend the Keen Tyretread boots.

I love these boots!!! I have never in my life paid this price for shoes. I also, have never in my life been able to find boots that fit my calves and feet. I am so excited to be able to wear these. I ended up buying two pairs!!! They are comfortable and look great. My calves are big and these fit perfectly. I also have to wear orthotics. The inserts are removable and the boots fit perfectly with my orthotics in place. I did buy a half size larger than my normal size. I wish I could wear these every day. I could wear them all day long, comfortably. Thank you Keen and thank you Zappos. I am so happy.

These were exactly what I was looking for. I stand 7-8 hours a day outside in Seattle, WA and needed comfort and warmth, with a reasonable dressy style. They fit the bill for me.

I ordered these in size 9 my normal size. Although they were very comfy and cute, a few things didn't work for me on these. The toe box felt tight, my toe nails were touching the top of the boot so I would say order a half size up from your normal size. I own another pair of Keen boots (Bern Baby Bern) which fit perfect in a 9 so don't let your other experiences fool you, and BTW I love them and they are super comfy. So these looked just like the picture but I was wanting a more versatile boot that could be dressed up a bit and these are very casual to wear with jeans and leggings but won't go well with a skirt as they are too casual. They were also a bit too low in the shaft, I was wanting something higher on the leg. I have to say if you are looking for a plain-ish looking boot for jeans and leggings and casual, they are very comfortable and a quality boot. They just didn't work for me.

Boots are heavy duty, not really fashionable. Good for muck and pre-snow or post-snow weather. IT IS not as good of arch support as keens usually are, it doesn't have the foot shape in the sole of the boot. Okay boots, will probably last a lifetime.

Comfortable and good arch support. I ordered the black. They unfortunately lack any wow factor and I'm returning them. Also, the "goring panels" on the back of the boot cheapen the look.

Would give 5 stars if boots weren't used! LOVE LOVE THIS BOOT! Fits great and will work well for overseas travel. Zappos delivered quickly which I also love. One issue...the last three orders I've received have had problems.. Items used, tights shiny and worn, boots with wear marks. Was too close to travel date so had to accept. This time I have bit of time so am sending these boots back due to wear and am hoping to get BRAND NEW pair to break in my own way.

While casual but very attractive, these boots were disappointing for me. I have Keen boots from last season in a size 7.5 but these in a 7.5 were much too short. The toe area was hard and uncomfortable and the boots were difficult to get off because the zipper does not go all the way up. The boots were also too short for my legs (I'm 5'-5", not tall.) Although I am a huge fan of Keens, and own several pairs, these boots simply did not work for me.

Plain and bulky. They should be made of rubber as they would make a great style for a rain boot. Nice leather and flexible just a bit too chunky.

I really wanted to love this boot. The color was lovely and the boot was really comfortable. Unfortunately I do have to agree with the other reviewer who said the boot lacks some "wow" factor. I was hoping the boot would be a little dressier but it's on the casual side. It reminded me (and my husband agreed) a little too much of rubber boots, which was not the look I was going for. That said, the boot is great quality, super comfortable, and well-made.
