I am so pleased with these boots! I bought these for a fall trip to Iceland, where I knew that I would be doing a lot of walking in both the city area and in muddy/wet terrain. These beyond exceeded my expectations and were comfortable right out of the box. I walked in them for four days straight. They look great with tucked in skinny jeans. They also do not look out of place with a fall hiking outfit. They have decent rubber sole treads on them which made them amazing for sightseeing/walking in cruddy weather conditions. My only negative was that you need to keep your toenails clipped short, otherwise the top of the boot is not far from your toes and can cause discomfort if they are even a millimeter to long. I did get a bruise under one toenail because of this. Zero calluses or blisters. I love these shoes! I highly recommend these for those who want multi-tasking and practical but still stylish boots.

I was shocked at how uncomfortable these shoes are. Wearing them actually makes my legs sore. I love Keen sandals, and I have another pair of Keen boots that I adore, but these cause me such bodily discomfort, I will never wear them again. They were a complete waste of money, and a purchase I deeply regret. I didn't realize until I'd worn them for several hours that something was wrong.

This boot runs big -- I wear an 8 and it is a bit big. There is not a lot of support with this style.

These are the most comfortable walking, work, leisure foot attire I have ever owned. I wear a size 9, and have a bit of a wide foot, and the foot bed on these boots fits so perfectly, and is comfortable. There was no 'break in' period, as I normally have to suffer through, which was wonderful. I ordered another pair in the brown, and then ordered the tall black boot as well. Just haven't received that pair yet!

Awesome boots that have good traction and look good too! I have enjoyed a lot of Keen shoes, but don't like their bulkiness and boxiness at times...these are definitely sleeker. They are easy to slip on, and they have removable insoles so I could add orthotics. I have gotten a lot of compliments on them already. I have wide feet (especially at the midfoot), and these have been great. Roomy in the ankle/calf so I can tuck skinny pants inside.

Not fond of the style. Reminded me too much of galoshes. Very roomy fit. Wide enough for wide feet. Would probably be comfy.

These boots are great for retail work. I can walk on concrete floors for a full shift -- up to 5 miles! -- and my feet, legs, and back still feel fresh. I have average-width feet, but these boots run a little wide, especially in the heel. I don't mind in this shoe -- makes pulling them on easier. Very cute with straight-legged pants tucked in.

Wore these all over Europe for 2 weeks in February. Best pre-trip purchase, and still wearing them a year later! No slip, good grip!

I have a poor foot that has suffered through a horse injury and subsequent surgeries - not many styles of footwear are comfortable - need something that doesn't bend and "break" over the big toe. I'm thrilled to report these are some of the most comfortable boots I've ever worn! I plan to order another pair in black. Size is pretty accurate, but if you prefer to wear heavier socks you may want to try a 1/2 size larger. As you know, the incredible beauty of Zappos is that they make it SO easy to try different sizes!

I was looking for boots to wear with skinny jeans and cords this fall, and I think these do the trick! They were comfortable right out of the box. The upper is supple and luxe, there's a lovely soft lining on the inside, and the tread is tough without being too utilitarian. I like that they are easy to pull on and off, owing to the relatively wide opening and a thick elastic band. A downside of that feature is that they don't fit as close to the leg as one might like. That's the only reason I bumped the style score to 4 stars. Overall, though, a big winner.

Easy on and off, roomy and comfortable enough to accommodate my hammer toes. The style mimics a Doc Martens, but is more refined, looking good with casual or "Sunday best."

These boots are fantastic. I wear them everyday, all day to work and to the woods. All purpose- stylish and comfortable. Really comfortable.

Out of the box and comfortable for a 2 week trip to Ireland. Great support and nice heel height.

Loved these boots! Super comfy, stylish, good quality. I have bad achy feet esp. the balls of my feet and bunions and these are so comfy. I sprayed them and they seem to be taking on light rain well. Perfect sole thickness to add a few centimetrs to your height without being unconfortable. Definitely recomend!

These no frill boots are comfortable right out of the box. Great for outdoor activities and look good with jeans. They are great for walking the dogs in the woods and clean up easily.I can't say they are completely waterproof but my feet have stayed dry in damp conditions. They replaced a pair of Frye boots. I liked the Keen's so much I bought a second pair in black. Thank you Zappos for such great service.

Love these boots! They fit and are comfortable. These boots are easy to put on and take off, the leather is soft, and the insoles are typical of Keen footwear. I hope that Keen makes a mid-calf boot similar to these!

These boots are fantastic, good support, not as wide as Keen's use to be and look good with everything.

These are comfortable in the toe box but there is too much room in the instep. The style is OK. I ordered these together with the Earth Thyme boots and really like the latter. So I am returning these.

I normally wear a size 8.5 wide, but bought a 9 so I could wear them with mid-weight wool socks for warm feet. They are barely long enough even with light weight socks. They initially seemed tight, but stretched nicely after the first day. In fact, now they are a bit loose. Perhaps a cushier insole would help that. The full grain leather is soft and finished in such a way that it seems to resist scuffs and stains. They are simple enough to be versatile, and i expect to be able to wear them everywhere except dressy events (which are very rare in my life). I love that they are so easy to get on and off. If they seem tight on you in the beginning, give them a day around the house. They ll loosen up. I will spray them with a water-proofer before wearing them in winter weather, but they do seem fairly weather resistant out of the box. I do wish Keen would keep the slightly wider footbed with the narrow heel in more of their recent styles. But I realize that adds a bit of klunkiness. And it would be nice if they put a slight cushier insole in their shoes. Until they mold to one s feet, they feel kind of uncomfortable, and I suspect many people reject them before giving them a chance.

I usually wear a 6M and would say that I found this boot to be just a tad loose especially if you don't like to wear thick socks or have arch inserts like I do--then either the socks or combo of socks and inserts will take up the looseness and they'll fit fine. It's a very nice looking boot but truth be told I don't find it super comfortable, unlike, say my Dansko boots. I certainly couldn't wear these boots for a whole day of walking as I have had two meniscus surgeries so my boots should have a thicker sole and a little less flexibility. With that said, these boots work well for wearing in rain, shopping; i.e., short distance walking.

The are pretty decent boots. Not a clunky as you would think. The look to have really good traction. However the sole is just too hard for me and they are too narrow. This fit just tight enough for me to return them. I don't want to risk them not loosening up.

I usually love Keens but these boots were a disappointment. I have a relatively high arch and there was almost no arch support. In addition, the leather didn't feel like the high-quality leather I usually associate with Keens. I'm returning these. Thanks, Zappos, for your great customer service!

I wear the same size in Keen hikers, clogs, sandals, and Bern boots, but these just don't work for me. I've got a wide toe-box, but without zipper, laces, or calf friction I'm just bouncing around in these. My heel slides right out. A smaller size might work, but I'll try a different style instead. They're super-cute and I'm disappointed.

I'm usually a 9.5/10, flat feet, wide toe area when I walk and was looking for support comfort and style. I ordered a 10m. They're huge! Lots of ankle and leg room too. I literally stuck my foot right in. Also, the heel was lower than I expected. My jeans were covering most of the boot.
