Excellent comfort. I had to bump up a half-size from 8.5 to a 9, but these are sturdy, comfortable, and have nice aggressive treads. I can't recommend them highly enough. If you are disappointed the Olmec's are no longer available, get these shoes. Even better support all around than the Olmec.
I'd also recommend:
Merrell.

These are very nice looking solid construction shoe. I've been wearing them for only a day and really like them. Vibram is a bit stiff, but lasts typically a long time. The collar is a bit stiff but has loosened. I wear a 14 wide not easy to fit and I have some foot problems. Life is good with these Zappos rocks!

Love the look, fit was right, but I never get too long outta these spuds. Vibram sole lasts, but the interior goes quickly. I bought Merrel specific replacement insoles and they were sad, thin. Only gave me another 1-2 months.

Excellent fit and comfort. Great everyday shoe, dressy enough for the office too. Great with jeans or khakis.

Well made. Very stiff and structured - more so then other Merrells. Runs slightly small so consider going up 1/2 size. I wonder how this will feel next summer as the waterproofing seems to breathe less than their other shoes?

It's a good shoe that's solid. Haven't worn it through enough tough environments to give it a thorough review under harsh conditions.
One thing I did not realize is that I based the size on how I would normally choose a sneaker. For sneakers, I choose sizes that are much larger than my heel-to-toe length. I'm 8.5 inches but wear 10.5 sneaker size.
For this, it is not padded like a sneaker and cannot be tied to fit to your foot. I bought 4 pairs of this until I found the right size 10.5 => 10 => 9.5 => 9.
9 fits me well.
The arch support feels like it goes farther back than where my foot arch actually is though. For reference, my arch length is 5.
My width is 3A. It fits comfortably at W.

Nice looking shoe that's very comfortable to walk in. When Merrell and Vibram work together they make magic. Unfortunately the inserts started squeaking. I really hate a squeaky shoe. Fortunately the inserts are easily replaced. Overall still very satisfied.

I very much wanted to own these but the footbed just doesn't work for my wide, flat feet. Merrell scores points for offering wide sizes, but the shape of the footbed and lack of any real arch support or good heel cup meant my foot consistently slid forward and pressed my toes against the inside tip of the shoe. I started with a 10.5, which is usually a safe size for me. After my foot consistently slid, I talked to Zappos customer service and they exchanged it for a 10. Unfortunately, I still experienced the slipping and the shoes were unusable. The size and padding of the opening was excellent, but I just couldn't wear them. I ended up exchanging them and getting a pair of Keens (Targhee II style), which fit very well and had much better arch support. I really wanted a moc, but with the Keens tied more loosely I can slide them on and off like a moc, and tie them more firmly if I'm going for a more serious walk.

The heel of the shoe would not hold my own heel in. It kept slipping out when I walked, and if I ran at all (which, to be sure, the shoes were not intended for), my foot would come all the way out. Otherwise they were what I wanted, though I did not love the rounded front.

Some photos of these shoes appear to be brownish, while others look green. The green is accurate. They are sized as being medium width (usually D), or else wide. It turns out that the wide is EEE, which is more than I expected, and yet they do not seem to be that wide. The fit is OK. I got a size that would allow thick socks, so I will see how the fit is with thin socks next summer. The elastic is a bit snug, but should relax with time. These shoes are great for walking your dog in the woods, but I find them somewhat awkward on flat surfaces - sidewalks, etc. The grip provided by the sole is good on slippery terrain, and they are waterproof, as advertised. I find them easy to put on and take off, which my previous Merrells were not. The shoe appears to be solidly made, although the oiled leather shows every scuff. Pretty good for a shoe ordered on the Internet.

Great for slogging through snow and slush. I spent a recent weekend in Toronto walking around in these, put 10 miles on over 2 days.

I finally blew out my last pair of Jungle Mocs, which were the older style (with the wrap around padded elastic). The new style with the elastic vamp slips on my heel, so I thought I was done with Merrell slip ons. I saw the Moab Rover in a store but they didn't have my size (14). The style of the shoe was a little thicker at the top, and the vamp was slightly different. I thought it might work, so i ordered a pair. The fit great. I wish Merrell continued to make the old style, but these will work.
As for the overall style, the Kangaroo color is nice. I could do without the contrasting stitching, but that's a minor complaint.

Shipped on time. Size was my biggest concern. I ordered 1/2 size larger than Jungle Mocs I have bought over the years after reading reviews on different sites. Glad I did as shoes would have been tight. The 1/2 size larger borders on too much, but better than too small. Only had 2 days, will see how they hold up. Bought these for Vibram sole as I am tired of buying Jungle Mocs every 6 months when sole is gone...

My husband loves these shoe/sneakers/boots all in one! Has 1 pair for every use and 1 pair for casual outings. Just slip in feet and good to go.

Having recently purchased a size 12W Moab Ventilator which fits perfectly, I thought that I would upgrade my work shoe from the Keen Dawson to this new Moab Rover. Very sad and frustrated to say the 12W is at least half a size shorter than the 12W Ventilator.

I needed a pair of slip-on's for an upcoming trip to Japan where you have to take your shoes off and on a lot. So I ordered these from Zappos. They're great. Of course, they're not as comfortable as my Asics Gel Cumulus 16 running shoes...nothing is...but for this type of shoe, I'm impressed. I have some Merrell boots that have worked real well for me, so I knew what Merrell could do. I'm not disappointed. I did have to put in a gel inner sole in order to have a bit more arch support, but I do that with most of my shoes. Great product!

This is my first time wearing Merrell shoes. I love the feel and look of the waterproof Moab Rover. Great type of shoe considering the winter we have had in the northeast this year. Slip them on slip them off. Very happy. As usual, can't beat Zappos price and how about free, one day delivery? Great experience.

So far so good. These seem just a tiny bit shorter than the Jungle Mocs that I'm used to but I think if I went up a half size they'd be too big. I'm hoping the sole of these hold up better than the Jungle Mocs.

The Merrell Moab Rover Moc Wide is a pretty good shoe. I wanted to find something more comfortable than my crocs for the OR that also has closed toes. Having closed toes is a bit of a trade-off, however-I have noticed over the past month my feet have perspired a little bit more than before. In terms of support, the shoe is terrific. My feet feel great even after 12 hours of standing in the OR. It should be noted that the tongue can be a bit irritating. Perhaps my ankles are slightly larger than other people's. I think it has become less noticeable over that past week, though. Finally, these might not be the best shoes for the OR (unless you wear shoe covers) because the sole has lots of places for bits of nasty things to get stuck (I would wear shoe covers, but they're very hard to pull over size 12 shoes). It appears my search for the quintessential OR shoe shall continue.

Wear this shoe at work in the operating room where I'm on my feet all day long. To make the shoe a bit more comfy, I added a thicker insole (Timberland outsoles).

I ordered the "Castle Rock" color which on the website has a cool earthy brown / greenish tint. The color I received looked greyish / black. Not even close to the website color depiction. See photo. Also the shoes were 1/2 size too small. I will be returning these shoes.

I do a 2.5 mile trail walk every day and I bought the Moab with the Vibram sole so that these would wear well. After 3.5 months I'm disappointed in the wear. The tips of the sole on the toe on both right and left have separated from the uppers collecting grass and other debris, and one of the lugs on the left heel ripped and has torn off. So much for paying extra for the Vibram sole. Overall I like these shoes. They are very waterproof, comfortable and fit me well. I just wish they would wear better.

I liked the looks of these and have been happily wearing Merrell Jungle Mocs for over a decade, so thought I'd give them a try. What's not evident from the description or photos though is that the leather is finished to instantly take on a distressed look. The right shoe I received had already taken on a lot of scuffing, while the left was like a "before" picture. A small stroke of a fingernail in an inconspicuous location confirmed that the lightest contact will leave a scuff mark that can't just be rubbed out. And the scuffs really stand out, because the finish of the leather out of the box is not suede like the Jungle Moc. I suppose that the distressed look could be okay - it works on jackets and hats, if that's your thing - but isn't what I was looking for. I want some business casual mocs, but not that casual. Sadly, will be returning.
