Over the last few years I've purchased 6 to 8 pairs of Chameleon 4. Their stretch design allows them to provide wonderful support. Makes it feel like a glove on your feet. The Chameleon 4 is sadly no longer produced, and I purchased the Prime Stretch. It's good, but not nearly as comfortable as the 4. 1. The back of Prime Stretch is significantly higher, making a challenge to insert one's feet. 2. The sole on the bottom does not provide as much arch support as previously. I had to insert a pair of Scholl's support.

Bought these for my husband who spends 12 hours a day on his feet. He said they fit perfectly and are extremely comfortable, even after wearing for very long periods of time.

I love these shoes! I was apprehensive to buy after reading reviews that they weren't comfortable (are a little taller than other Merrell's and sit higher on the ankle), but they fit me just fine with no discomfort.

Shoe feels great and looks great. Only problem is if you don't have wide feet, the elastic cord for lacing the shoes is too long when you tighten up the shoe.

Favorite shoe out of a half dozen hiking shoes. Breathable!

Great fitting shoe but they don't last if you wear these everyday, hey won't last 45 days. I buy a pair every two months.

A shoe worth getting, first time getting Merrell and glad I did. Was tired of my previous shoes rubber falling apart becoming loose and causing braking in a car to become hazardous. This shoe is sturdy, comfortable and durable. Excited to see how long these last.

These shoes are excellent support and very comfortable. This is my husbands 5 pair.

I have had the Chameleon before. As before these shoes fit very nice. If you have a high arch, I think they may be somewhat difficult to slip on. For me they fit like a glove.

My husband loves Merrell shoes. I have ordered 2 other colors of these shoes from Zappos. We just ordered the grey. He has the brown and black also. He wears a 10.5 and that's what size we order. They are true to size and he says they are very comfortable. He does a lot of walking at work.

This is my second pair. This pair is different from the first in several small ways, but feel just as comfortable.

best shoes ever , 3 pairs chameleon in 6 years . I use these for work, I am over weith person, it gives me full comfort through the day, 9 hours every day.

Got these for my husband. He is already a devoted Merrell's person but these were a new style for him. He loves them. He thinks the 9 1/2 he always wears feel just slightly larger in this style but a 9 would be too small so he's staying with these. The best thing is the gray color, sort of a steel blue charcoal. They go with everything and looks great. He loves the slip in feature. Excellent choice for Merrell fans.

Pro: Pretty good hiking shoe. Great tread, kept a good grip on wet rock and loose gravel. Con: Tight squeeze to slip on.

When I bought these shoes I did not notice that they were stretch shoes and do not have the usual shoes strings. I might have returned them but I did not have enough time to do so until I wanted to use them. I had one week to break-in these shoes in before needing to do a bunch of walking in them. I was very surprised that there was zero break-in period. These shoes were comfortable right out of the box. I bought them to wear to the Nascar race in Vegas and boy did I put some miles on em. I could not be happier with these shoes.

This is my 5th pair of these shoes. I buy a new pair every 4 months. Extremely comfortable, and provides excellent support

Quick and easy to order. Was able to use a 5 year old gift certificate. Happy with shoes too.

These are extraordinarily comfortable. This type of shoe does not have a tongue, so you do not get those weird pressure points when the tongue goes sideways. Also no tieable laces, which is great for me as a motorcycle rider. I do need to use a shoehorn to easily get them on, since the lack of tongue means I cannot just open them up like normal shoes.

I have owned several pairs of Merrell before and had good luck. These fit fantastic from the start and after a week long vacation packed with a lot of walking, some hiking, and even a few hours of dancing they still feel great. The integrated tongue makes getting the shoe on/off difficult. Also I slipped and fell on a wet concrete step. Although I am not the only one to fall there was zero grip. I am satisfied and will be purchasing another pair in black.

Thank goodness Merrell went back to the original style, look, and fit of this shoe! This is my "go to" shoe for just about anything I need to handle.
