I run 40 plus miles a week in the trails and bought these for the snow and cold wet conditions. They are significantly lighter than the previous trail shoes I had used and kept me almost as dry. The weight difference is worth the switch for me and I will continue to use these. I have a wide foot and thought these were a bit narrower than I expected them to be. Overall they fit very well and I don't think about my feet when I run and they are lightweight and dry. Worth the cost.

I require REALLY wide shoes, as I have Bunionettes (Tailor's bunions). I've always found Roclites were too narrow, but I also needed waterproof shoes, too. These fit the bill! They aren't quite as wide as I'd like, but after playing dog agility and walking constantly all weekend, my feet were very happy, with only a little tightness at the bunionettes at the end of the long days. The soles have great "cleats" for traction we need (foot plants and sharp turns) for dog agility on grass. Very, very happy with this purchase. Can't comment on the arch support, as I replace theirs with my own orthotics (and this works fine, btw).

I have a difficult time getting shoes that fit and are comfortable because my foot is a C width (D width is too wide) and my left foot is a half size larger than my right. These shoes give my feet plenty of room around the toe box and they are very light and flexible so I have a good range of motion from toe to heel. Each time I put them on it feels like the heel collar is going to chafe but after walking in them for a minute or two they are very comfortable. Although I don't go long distances, I've walked and run in them in perfect comfort. There is little arch support and cushioning but they still feel comfortable.

I use these to run in the snow in trails. They are super light and waterproof which is a rare combination. The traction is good. I was expecting these to run a bit wider but it was not a deal breaker. Bottom line is they do not hurt my feet even after running for 2 hrs. I'm looking forward to running in them through the mud and muck to see how they hold up. Overall I'm very happy with them so far. Wish they were a bit less expensive but my feet are happy so it's worth it. Zappos is the best. I practically got these the same day!

Absolutely, positively the most comfortable shoe I've ever owned. In addition to the comfort, the soles grip the ground for a solid and secure walk...makes you feel like one with the ground below! Fabulous shoe.

I love Inov-8 trail shoes and have had 3 pairs of the Roclites. They are extremely flexible and light but not super supportive (if you need a stability or motion control shoe). I have used Montrail inserts, which seem to work well. I actually like them for light to medium hiking b/c they have very good grip and are light. I have never tried GTX shoes before and find them to really keep my feet dry but not too hot. I also find Inov-8 shoes to be closer to my "regular" shoe size, which is 1/2 size smaller than my usual running shoe size (I wear a 9 in Nike and Asic running shoes but an 8.5 in Inov-8.

These may be the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. After developing a Morton's neuroma in my foot some years ago, the only shoes I could walk in without pain were Dansko clogs and running shoes with the orthotics constructed by my podiatrist. I took a chance and ordered these because they have a removable foot bed and I thought I could try them with the orthotics. I was surprised and delighted to find that these shoes are blissfully comfortable without orthotic adjustment. They're cut wide enough in the toe box but fit snugly through the heel; they're not as cushioned or supportive as a heavy duty mileage running shoe, but the rubber tread on the sole (which seems like it will be great in icy conditions) gives a perfect layer of cushioning for walking. And they're incredibly lightweight and flexible, as comfortable as slippers. I've never tried this brand of shoe before, but now it's No. 1 on my favorites list.

Perfect. I just got theses shoes. They address all of my feet problems. They feel like I'm not wearing a shoe. If I could afford it. I'd buy 20 pairs. I hope inov never changes this shoe. Please. I will be a customer for life.

These shoes are amazing!! I tramped all over Italy in them, and barely knew they were on my feet, they were so light. before I left, I had purchased a pair of insoles to ensure that they would be maximally comfortable for my particular foot. And they were a dream. I cannot understand how such lightweight shoes can be so waterproof and yet not make my feet feel sweaty. The bottom line: now that I have returned home, these are my go-to Fall shoes for walks. They can handle any condition. And most important: they are incredibly comfortable.

Love these shoes! Comfortable, light weight, protects from snow and wet and yet very flexible sole. These are awesome GTX shoes. I have wider feet but the flexibility of this shoe accommodates this.

I wanted to love these, but I did not. I went up half a size because the European 4.0 is not truly a 6½. In addition, even though they are a wide width, they felt narrower than expected. The quality is good, but the fit is not.

Incredibly lightweight and flexible, super comfortable. Unfortunately they lack the lateral support I need to keep from rolling an ankle on uneven ground, but would be awesome for activities on level ground. Nice wide toe box, plenty of room.

These shoes were a disappointment. The top creased in such a way that it squished my toes when walking/running. They are very light and stylish but in my opinion lack support too. I don't agree with all the other 5 star reviews and will be returning them.

I wanted to love this shoe. Great looking. Light weight. GoreTex. Good traction. Good feel, initially. But not wide enough. They pinched my bunions. Also, my second toes - which stick out longer than my big toes - rubbed something, maybe the top of the shoe and were irritated. A bit wider and a bit room up above the toes to would do the trick for me. Sad to send them back.

Love inov-8 shoes. These are particularly light weight, very nice; I found myself skipping and dancing down the road the first time I wore them. Low heeled shoes help with my sore knee (chondromalacia patellae). At first the heel cups felt a little loose with the heels slipping up, but I moved the laces to the outside holes and pulled them tight for a great fit. Also dressy enough to wear with my skinny black jeans, very "wavy". I need waterproof sneaks as the weather is humid here with heavy dew on the grass until late morning.
