Cute shoe, but not as comfortable as other Born shoes. This one has a firmer padding on the inside compared to other Born styles, making them uncomfortable. I prefer the look of these, but I went with the born Bristol style because they were incredibly comfortable.

Cute! This is a great shoe. The low heel is a perfect height to wear comfortably all day, but it's high enough to make them a little dressy and feminine. These work well with dress pants or a skirt. I have wide feet due to bunions and it can be difficult to find shoes that work, but these fit well.

Exactly what I needed. Got them in both black and brown. The brown is a really burnished look which I think is more interesting than just plain brown. The 1.5" heel is perfect with slacks or skirts. Have recently gone up to an 8 for a bunion and this fits really well. I think they're a value. More arch support than you usually find in dress shoes.

Love these beauties. They are very comfortable and look great with jeans, dresses, or dress pants. They feel a little wider in the heels than some of my other Borns, but still fit well. Heel height is very comfortable and sturdy feeling. Had to get them in brown and black. The burnished brown has a bit of a vintage feel.

A little stiff and snug. Didn't feel like the softer Borns I have worn. I'm getting a different style that is more casual. But there's nothing wrong with the shoe. I may reorder it later.

The elusive perfect oxford for the person looking for a classic, yet hip shoe. Comfortable, stylish, and versatile. These look good with skinny pants, slacks, or skirts. They are good work shoes for winter sidewalks. They fit true to size in length and width (thin socks only). They required NO break-in time for my average width, size 10 shoe. I have big feet and these shoes make them look smaller.

Love these shoes! I receive compliments on them every time I wear them. My feet are a bit wide, and these work for me. Super comfortable like Born typically are. The only thing I would say could be a little different is in the style. It'd be nice if the toe was a little pointier.

Love these! So comfortable. True fit based on selected size. Nice shine to leather that allows you to wear slacks. Dress up or down.

I ordered these and a pair of Naturalizer Hampshire, knowing one pair would go back. The Nat's were a 9W, the Borns were 9. I kept the Borns. It is a more supportive shoe and fits true to size and like a glove on the first wear. Love them! The Nats were nice, but the sole did not offer as much support.

Interesting how differently one shoe can be reviewed. I guess it all depends on you reference point. I think these shoes are extremely comfortable- right out of the box. They'd be a great shoe in the city for pounding the pavements - great padding on the footbed, great arch support, and the leather is a nice in-between: not stiff and not too soft. I have a wide foot and they're not tight in the width. Usually wear a 9 and this 9 fits perfectly. Love the heel height; agree with previous review: just enough for height and femininity. Also, for an Oxford, they're not too mannish. I think a pointier toe would have been slightly more chic. Not sure if I'll keep 'em. If the toe were pointier, it would an easy sale.

I love a good oxford shoe, and this one does the trick! The style is classic, the fit is good, and the leather is sturdy. Not to mention the color is a beautiful dark burnished chestnut. Oh, and the heel is a perfect height. I also bought a pair in black. Great find!

These were far too narrow in the toe. I don't ever need to get anything but normal width. I really liked them other than they were unbearable due to the pinched toes. Wish they came in wide.

The burnished leather on the cognac is gorgeous, but these shoes are not as comfortable as they should be, they made strange noises when I stepped (and I was standing on a soft rug!), and the footbed is made of some weird rubberized stuff. The footbed should be leather in a shoe like this. The uppers on these are so much prettier than the Cobb Hills I ended up keeping, but these are going back.
