Incredibly warm and rugged. I've been using these boots to snowshoe, hike and some light outdoor work in northern VT so it's a good test. I've only used them down to the 0 degree mark so I can't say for sure that in sub zero temperatures the heat will hold, but everything I've experienced thus far gives me confidence that they will.

Great winter boot! I have several pairs of Sorels, both some 1964 Pac's and another pair of leather boots. Love them all. I found that I was wearing a pair of hunting Bogs all the time because they were easy to slip on with no laces, vs. my Pac's with 12. When my Bogs needed to be replaced I was looking something warm, tall for deep snow in New Hampshire, and easier to get on. These do all of that. I have worn for several hours and they feel great, the large D-Ring laces allow you to slid in and then pull them tight to limit heel-lift, but don't take 20 minutes to tighten. I am a large size 12 (actually a 12.5 in a running shoe), and tried both a size 12 and 13 and stuck with the 12 which feels good even with a thick winter sock.

I bought these boots for my husband to wear while running our snowblower in the mountains. They have excellent traction and his feet never get cold. This is a sure bet for anyone tackling the outdoor elements!

Bought for my son who works outside. He was in love from the first wear! He has a sensory disorder and needs comfortable shoes right out of the box...these did the trick! Very happy!

I've been using these during Blizzard Juno and Winter Storm Marcus and they are just the best - waterproof, toasty warm, tall enough to keep the snow off my legs, and don't slip on the ice. I got a size larger than normal so I could wear thick wool socks, but they are so warm on their own I don't know that this was necessary. They don't slip at all on my icy stairs and driveway. It's wonderful to have tall boots during these storms. They are easy to put on and take off and I use them to run to the mailbox or compost pile when the ground is wet. Well, trudge - you can't run in these boots. For indoors, I am equally thrilled with Sorel's Manawan slippers.

Really good boots. Felt true to size and have held up to the extremely cold temperatures in upstate NY.

i wear a 9.5 and originally purchased 9.I found the fit to be too small. I exchanged them for a size 10, the fit is generous but certainly not too big,so I would suggest sizing up if you wear a half size. Very warm and comfortable boot, would suggest these to friends.

Great fit, lots of room. Easy to walk in. Warm. Don't know how it will do on icey or slick surfaces, but even better than the Caribou for me as I can go through deep snow. Quality materials.

Well I never write reviews - however in case I had too - just went for a walk with these boots - the temperature was -15 degrees - with the wind chill -30 - I had a simple pair of wool socks on - my feet were completely warm - not cold for a second - boots are super comfortably- these are a no brainer -

I usually wear a size 12 boot and I ordered a size 12, it fit perfectly. The outer material feels thick and strong, the soles are sturdy with a good grip design, the liners are perhaps a little thinner than in my old sores, but it is laced with a reflective metallic material which reflects the body heat back into the boot. The seem just as warm as my old boots, perhaps warmer with a thinner lining.

Amazing boots that keep you warm in the cold tundra of NY. These have gotten a lot of use all throughout the deep snow and have held up perfectly. Would definitely reccomend!

These boots are great, super warm and lots of grip. Wore them for a month before reviewing and they are holding up to snowy, icy, salty urban Buffalo winters.
