I love these shoes! The color is perfect. After trying them on, I polished them to a beautiful sheen and didn't have to deal with blisters or breaking them in. They fit wonderfully. The sole has plenty of cushion and comfort, and I walk about 6 miles in them each day. Comfy, cute, stylish -- these shoes are great. I have a really narrow heel and usually have difficulty with slipping out of shoes, but not with these!

Love this shoe. Problem is they don't fit my feet which isn't the fault of the shoe. I ordered in my regular size 7.5 but my big toe came right to the end. Decided to try a half size larger (8) and they are too large. They do not come in wide width which was my next effort to fit this style to my feet but it wasn't available in a W. Service is beyond compare. I highly recommend Zappos.

After hemming and hawing over the price, I finally bought these, and I'm glad I did. They're sturdy, comfortable, and pretty cute. I usually wear a 7.5 in casual shoes, and that size fits great with substantial socks. I especially like the grips on the soles. My last pair of oxfords had no traction, so these are a big improvement.

This is a very comfortable and well-wearing shoe! Fit ran true to size (I had a 10M and typically run between a 9.5 and a 10), it looks great, and very professional for the office. I also think they'd be great for dancing in -- they're very light, although they feel substantial, and I've caught myself tapping out some steps in them more than once.

Great style and comfort. Good for work and casual. I have literally walked miles in these shoes. They're more comfortable than my sneakers!

As a woman in a profession dominated by males who wear suits every day to work I have had a hard time finding practical shoes that look nice. There are nice heels but they have no grip and are largely impractical and uncomfortable. I ordered the Born Bristol shoe in hopes that they would be a classy alternative to the unsupportive flats that usually pinch and aggravate my feet. I generally wear between a size 8-9 so after the size 9 arrived looking like clown shoes on my feet Zappos was great about the return with free return shipping and refund. I ordered the 8.5 and they fit like a dream. Fitted and comfortable with lovely oxford details they are professional and feminine. I am on my feet most of the day and after 2 months I still have no complaints. They are even attractive with skirts as well as dress pants. As long as you know how to polish your shoes well and do it as needed these shoes should serve you well!

These oxfords are incredibly comfortable. I love how the sole is flexible without being clunky; they're quiet to walk in. They have a somewhat narrow footbed (not a problem for me) and look feminine while referencing the classic men's wingtip oxford. They're well made and I know they'll last for years if I take good care of them. Great with skirts or pants. Highly recommended!

I was looking for an oxford to wear with tights, jeans, or leggings. This shoe is exactly what I wanted! It has style, but is not too clunky. It is amazingly comfortable. There was no breaking-in period. Total comfort from the first moment I put them on! I want a second pair now in another color.

These look great and are so comfortable I can walk miles in them! The leather is of really good quality and footbed is unbelievably comfortable but not squishy. I am considering buying another pair (in a different color)!

I love this shoe, but after wearing them 2 times, my left foot was hurting. I found a nickel sized "bump" at the heel portion of the insole. Very painful!

These shoes are amazing! I bought them when it was still warm out and wore them out of the box without socks -- but didn't have any blisters or soreness at all! They are incredibly soft and comfortable. They feel like my favorite ballet flats (Campers), but the small heel and tailored look means they work with everything - jeans, tights, and even dress pants.

These shoes are everything that I hoped they would be: comfortable, good-looking, and well-made. I think that they will become my everyday, all-day-long shoe immediately. They have excellent arch support, soft cushioning for the entire foot, and a large toe box. These have the possibility of becoming my "Europe" shoes - shoes that I can wear for 14 hours a day of incessant walking day-after-day. I also ordered a Born with a taller heel and another brand in this same style, but those went back because these far surpassed them, especially in terms of comfort.

These shoes are beautiful, the polished leather is soft, comfortable, and professional looking. You can tell that they are well-made, sturdy shoes. I have high arches and these shoes have great support and cushioning. They fit perfectly right out of the box and didn't need breaking in. They are on the narrow side, so I can only wear slim socks or tights with them. I highly recommend these shoes!

Just wore these for first time yesterday and love them. Was able to go all day and not until the end of day had a point in back of heel a little touchy but not unbearable. Will buy another color soon. Love the classic look and comfort. Possibly could be a little better arch support would be my only issue. I'm 61 and on my feet a lot throughout the day.

I've been looking for creative shoes that I could wear to work and the wing tip detail on these was great. Also much more comfortable than many other shoes I have tried that have a similar look (I was aiming below 60 but the jump in price was totally worth it).

Have to go down a half size. They are very comfortable and fashionable. I think they are sized incorrectly though. I wear a 7.5 These are on the wide side. I ordered a 7.5, which is labeled as a 38.5. I don't think that's the right correlation, and my toes only come halfway down the toe box. I re-ordered a 7 which I think will still give me plenty of room, but the colour I wanted had sold out so I had to get a second choice. I wish Zappos would both American and Euro sizes on the drop down order menu.

The Bristol style is comfortable and had a lot of potential, but the styling is way off. They looked like clown shoes on my long, slender feet. I bought one of the multi-colored pairs (Cristal), which looked so cute on screen but kind of dorky in person. My first reaction was that they looked like saddle shoes. I'm bummed - the comfort was great, but they left a lot to be desired in the looks department.

So I've been wearing these frequently for a few weeks now and I feel like I can now formulate an at least semi-educated opinion. I have to say that these shoes are so cute. I get many compliments on them and they are very comfortable. There is a little padding in the sole but nothing major, the lining is very aesthetically appealing. They are slightly narrow but remember they're leather so they stretched to fit my foot perfectly after one or two wears. My one complaint is the soft leather does crease where your toe meets the rest of your foot. A little annoying but not the end of the world at this point. Overall I would recommend, you aren't going to get much better at this price point.

Nice shoes. I use them for work. The Cognac is a good, rich, versatile brown. I have long, narrow feet and actually went down a half size from my usual and these run narrow, so that worked better for me.

These look like cute brogues, until you try them on and realize that for some reason, the toe is completely rounded off and not at all pointy like most shoes of this similar style. They look ridiculous on me, like something a toddler would wear. Unfortunately Born no longer makes the Arletta style which was a much cuter look; I should have bought them in black when I had the chance! Also, for some odd reason the arch support feels like it's in a funny place on my foot. Sadly, these are going back.

The fit was true to size and they were comfortable right out of the box, but these shoes are not quite what I was looking for style wise. They weren't very flattering on my feet and seemed a bit frumpy.

These are nice shoes. They have a very nice sole and comfortable interior. They are a little high on the ankles, and they rub a little.

I really wanted to like these, and I really wanted them to be able to replace my beloved Arlettas. However, they just don't. The sole feels thinner and skimpier, and wearing the same orthotic insole seems to take up a lot more room in the Bristol. The cognac leather is that faintly distressed leather treatment, which I would accept just fine if I loved the fit of the shoe. But I don't. I don't think it's the shoe's fault; I simply like a shoe of more substance in the sole. I'll look more carefully at the leather/sole interface next time. Bring back Arletta, Born!

About six months in, these shoes developed 3 weird clicking noises/feelings somewhere in the sole. There is nothing visibly loose or unglued, but it's so annoying that they're unwearable. Also, the leather stretched out immediately and by a large amount.
