I usually buy a size 11 because they are easier to find, but I consider myself more of a 10½. I purchased these in 10½ and they were too short, so I exchanged them for 11. I feel that the 11 is a little too short as well. I have been wearing them around the house without socks, which works out pretty well, but I am still feeling the long toes on my right foot bumping the end of the shoe. I also have narrow feet, and these are not too wide to wear, so I would say they are a medium width, not wide or narrow. I like the feeling of the footbed. I like shoes that are not too gooshy on the bottom. These have, for me, a comfortable bit of sponginess, and yet I still have the road feel that I like. They are flexible and well made. A little on the warm side, which is nice in winter, but if you have hot feet, maybe not so good. There are neat little bowls for your toes on the footbed. I would suggest sizing up.

These are really good shoes. Fit well right out of the box. I've been looking for a year for something to take the place of my old fleece lined Merrell's and these came the closest! Run a little small, but are great for my wide feet. I live in Montana, and I hope to wear these most of the winter and cold spring with no socks.

So comfy. Thanks to other reviewers for recommending going up a half size. Felt silly ordering the "wrong" size but the shoes feel great a half size up.

The most comfortable shoe that I own. Seriously soft. I have worn them every day since receiving them (which was about a month ago)!

I liked the moc but not quite right even with orthotic insert...bit too much wiggle room at the heel. I have narrow heel but want to have lots of room for toes. Maybe 10.5 would be better but chose Keen Galena instead.

I usually wear size 7.5, so based on the reviews, I ordered both a size 8 and a size 8.5 in this shoe. The size 8 is the pair I'm keeping. In the 8.5, my foot moved around in the shoe too much. I find the arch support moderate. I haven't worn them outside much yet, so I can't comment on the "waterproof" aspect yet. I do wish they came in additional colors, maybe something close to a "denim" color and something like "plum" or "purple." As it is, I got the Espresso and they're okay, just not something that you're going to enjoy looking down at much.

Do not be fooled! These are great, but run super small. I wear a 9.5 but bought a 10 after reading the other reviews. Even the 10s were too small. I exchanged them for a 10.5 and could probably have handled an 11! So, save yourself some time and order up!

Couldn't figure out how to update my review of 10/30. So exchanged 10 (which was 1/2 size up) for 10 1/2 (full size up) even though couldn't imagine that not being too big. Not too big. Kept them - much more comfortable no banging the big toe into the end of the shoe and the sides of my feet don't overhang (I don't have wide feet per se, so that was weird). Like 'em, keeping 'em but get a full size up unless you have narrow feet. I also ordered a pair of Patagonia winter boots (Patagonia Wintertide High Waterproof) and I ordered a whole size up in them and that worked.

Just got these in after doing a lot of hunting a lined pair of slip ons that don't look like slippers. Noticed the review that said to size up-I'm normally a 9 1/2 and sometimes have to get a 10 but never a 10 1/2 so I went with the 10. I see what she means about the your big toe bumping up against the end though when I look at the length and press down to see where my toe is, it doesn't seem like that should be happening. Having a hard time imagining a 10 1/2 as not being too big, but I'm also feeling like my foot is going over the outside edge a little bit as well. Thinking I will order a 10 1/2 and just keep the one that works best (that's the awesome think about Zappos!). Will update after I get the 10 1/2. Hoping that moves the comfort rating from a 3 to a 4 or 5. Also, moderate support--not the thing to wear if you REALLY need arch support due to plantar fasciitis etc. Nor would I wear these for major league walking-but to and from the store and around the house? Probably fine.

I have loved Patagonia shoes since I discovered them last year. I am a size 11 and their 11's had always fit me perfectly. (I own their clogs and sneakers.) I bought this shoe in boot form for my son and loved the look and feel, so decided to buy them in an 11 . . . stupidly without reading everyone's comments about the fit of this shoe. I wholeheartedly agree that these run at least half-to-full size small. Thinking of ordering the mens version, but it is a little less refined. Bummer because these are great. And, of course, thanks to Zappos for their unwavering ease of use!

The shoes were very tight to get on my foot. Once on they were sort of okay for length and width, but still hurt around my ankles. As for arch support, I felt no support at all. Overall the shoes were uncomfortable, too flat, did not feel well on, plus arch support was not there at all.
