These are cute boots. I am still a little unsure where/when I would wear them, though. I had purchased these because I was pretty sick and tired of wearing my Uggs each winter, which I have had for over 10 years now. These are a little sportier, feel closer to sneakers and yet, they did not quite do the trick for me. The main issue was that the bottoms feel very thin. On a cold day, those city streets are freezing and this would not cut it. The fit felt slightly small to me. I wear a size 7 in sneakers and my toes were pushed up pretty close to the edge of the toes.

These are great boots! Warm, comfortable, totally waterproof, and a very cute color. They are a little less bright than they appear in the photo - more like a rust, but very nice nonetheless.

I love the color and style of these boots. They are so cute mainly because of it being a rusty orange/red color but the white fleece it a great contrast. Yes, the sole does not have deep trends but they are not meant as hardcore hiking shoes. These are your everyday around town shoes when it is wet, maybe slight powder and cold days. I have small narrow feet so the boots are a bit loose but do not wrinkle too much. If the weather is cold I would probably want to wear thicker socks anyway. I am keeping these shoes but I will be returning the ones that I have because they are defective and missing a buckle on the right shoe but Zappos should be sending a replacement. This is the first that I have received a defective product but it happens. No big deal as long as it can be replaced. For this price I think you can invest in more substantial hiking shoes, but you will not get this style. So I am keeping them because of its style, comfort, and practicality for everyday walking around town during the winter time.

Plan to use these boots for kicking around town in the winter versus hardcore snow boots (that's what my Sorel 'Joan of Arctic' boots are for. I wanted a lightweight, waterproof boot that's easy to to put on and take off that does not zip (I prefer lace-up boots). These are very light & comfortable with plenty of room to wear thick socks if you wish (I am a size 10.5 - 11). My feet feel supported, but these boots are fairly flat. Again, I was looking for a pretty low-profile, simple boot (I'm 5'10"). This boot suits my needs and is quality made.

I purchased these in the rusted iron color. They are great! I am usually between a 6.5 and 7 and ordered a 7, and they fit well. I like a snug secure fit and the 7s feel that way to me. The fleece lining is very cozy and ends between the 3 and 4th lace holes from the top. The rest of the boot is lined in a black flannel-ish material that is soft and seems like it will keep my feet toasty. The tread is very grippy so there's no slipping or sliding. On top of the comfort factor, they are so cute! Really pretty rust color looks just like the picture and the orange and pink laces are neat (the purple laces on the brown color look pretty cool too). Zappos service great as usual.

I love Patagonia products and these were comfy and fit very true to size even with a heavy sock (I am a straight up 7). However, they slipped in the heel and I will have to return them. They fit a little too true to size to allow for an insert that might help w/ that, at least on me. However, if you like them I'd give them a shot and see if they work better for you.

These boots look cute and tidy in the photo. In person they were too loose at the ankle, which gave a baggy look. I've got wider ankles after a broken ankle and have a permanent plate in my ankle, and these accentuated all that. I couldn't get the snaps to stay in place while rolled down, either. Beyond looks, the arch support was way off - too far back. You can't take the insole out and these boots didn't work with orthopedic inserts. They did work with foot cushions you'd buy for under $20 at a store. The sole was thin, as others have noted, and would not be comfortable for walking. I was looking for a waterproof, warm boot for cold, wet and slushy days. Sadly these aren't the right boots!

I ordered this in size 7.5 for my normally size 6.5/7 foot that is slightly wide. I thought I'd need room for socks but even so this boot is too big - both in length and width. Also, I wouldn't have kept it anyway because the sole is so thin. I like winter shoes/boots to lift me somewhat out of the slush and snow. Plus the boot really feels unstructured and kinda dumpy in real life. The orange color is great though.
