It's a thin jacket but is warm and fleece lined. Fits true to measurement. Ideal for chilly spring and fall days, I anticipate getting a lot of use out of this, like most columbi things.

Water and wind resistant. I was able to use on a day when it's about 50 deg, 15mph wind and a little rain, it's perfect. More severe weather, this might not be enough. For the price, quality and effectivenes is great. Great for casual wear.

It's a very well-built product I enjoy it because of its versatility and warmer than I thought I definitely recommend this product

I like this jacket in general, especially like the color (deep rust), and the value is good. But one fundamental flaw that keeps me from recommending it is the fact that the sleeves are not lined. Because of the texture of the jacket's shell material, unless you are wearing a shirt with tight sleeves or made of very smooth material, you cannot simply slip the jacket on. You have to hold your shirt cuff in your hand to keep your shirtsleeve from catching in the jacket sleeve and bunching up. As a longtime Columbia customer, I am surprised at this design choice.

Nice looking jacket. Water and wind resistant. Only problem is the jacket is narrow at the shoulders and restrictive for it's size. If broad shouldered, you may want to order one size larger. It is a form fitting style

This jacket is really great. Fits perfect looks good and is comfortable! Love the closed pockets! I had a problem where the main zipper was coming apart from the bottom but that only happened once and was able to fix it with ease. No problems since!

This jacket is lightweight and comfortable yet keeps you warm. It's flexible enough to allow comfort while doing a lot of moving around but warm enough to escape wearing layers. Does good in the rain and windy cold days.

This jacket is awesome. Lightweight but will keep you warm and dry. This jacket can be used to wear as an everyday jacket or it goes well with khakis for an event. Columbia has great products and this is one of the best!

I bought this for fall and early winter hiking. It's not super thick which is good as I wear multiple layers. It provides good insulation while also some protection from the rain. The only thing I don't like about it is how far the collar/neck pops up.

I was looking for a jacket I could wear at times when my thick winter coat was too much. This jacket fills that void perfectly. It's great for keeping warm on chilly days, but doesn't make you super hot when inside for a little bit. It looks very nice so it's great for wearing to work too. I said it fit a little small, but I'm 6' 4" so it's slightly short for my arms and waist but I still wear it all the time.

This is a good soft shell jacket. I'm 6'2" 195lbs and the large fits good, just the right amount of room if I wanted to wear a sweatshirt underneath or just a T-shirt. The only issue I have is I would have rather had the chest pocket on the inside instead of the outside.

Found this jacket to fulfill a number of my needs. A mid-weight jacket that gives me warmth, protection from wind and rain when I hike, as well as a stylish coat to wear when I go out on chilly evenings around town.

I originally bought this jacket to be my temporarily soft shell but ended up liking it so much that I kept using it. I've had this jacket on backpacking trips, trail runs, ultra marathons, bike trips and much more over the past year. It's starting to show some serious signs of wear but is still completely functional. For not being a real 'technical' piece of clothing it has definitely stood up to the elements.

A good softshell to me will be solidly constructed, quickly bring your body temperature up, and be lightweight to put on and take off as needed. This softshell does all of the above and more. Whether you're using it around town to stay warm or have it as a quick layer to put on while you stop while climbing or skiing, this will do the trick. I've had lot's of soft shells, and this does all that I've ever needed.

Wear this as my daily jacket to work with a dress shirt. It's a little tight on the sleeves wearing a dress shirt, but hopeful it will loosen up a bit after some wear.

Good for everyday use in spring and fall. Could use an internal passage between media pocket on front and inside for cord management. If adding this, make sure it is big enough for new ear phones with lightning connector.

Have had one of these for several years but it started to fade so I bought another. The new one is different in two aspects; 1. No inside pockets, 2. The zipper has a different wind flap design at the top that will take some getting used to so it won't jam. I gave the first jacket a 5 but these two changes were not improvements so I gave this one a 4. Still an excellent all-around jacket!
