I purchased this jacket for several of our salesmen and had it branded with our company logo. The jacket looks great on all of them, and fits true to size. It's a great weight for moderate winters. I would definitely recommend it to others.

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend and he is very tall. Most jackets come down awkwardly short. This one fit perfectly!

When it comes to my job I'm required to work in any weather conditions and still maintain a professional look with khakis and a polo. This is my absolute favorite jacket that works with my entire wardrobe and I can easily layer clothing underneath when it gets a bit colder and still look good. When it's wet and raining the water just beads right off of the material its great! The adjustable cuffs work great at preventing wind from getting into your sleeves as do the adjustable waste drawcord. I normally wear a medium size shirt and I found that the medium was a bit too small and wasn't long enough for my upper torso, so I opted for the large and it was a perfect fit. I like pairing this with the utilizer polo shirt, ultimate ROC pants, and the Newton Ridge plus hiking boots. I couldn't recommend these products any more than I already do.

WOW! this is my first Columbia product and I am very pleased with the fit, style, quality and comfort. It's now my new favorite jacket.

I bought this for my boyfriend because he wanted something warm but stylish. He also wanted the warmth of something like a peacoat without the bulk and this fits the bill perfectly. The sleeves run a little short but not so much as to be a bother.

I wore the jacket the other morning were it was a little chilly and it warmed me up. Nice light weight jacket and worth the money

I really love this product. It is very versatile and I can wear it all the time. It was slightly small in the waist area, other than that it was true to size.

Loved the jacket, but when following the size guide provided it turned out to be true to size and I had to return for the size I normally wear. I do love the jacket and may get it another color

I searched for months for an unlined softshell jacket, like the Patagonia I had years ago. The only unlined jackets I could find are close-fitting and do not work with shirts. Even though the Ascender is lined, I settled on it because of fit and velcro at the sleeves rather than annoying elastic. The lining of this jacket is light, the fit is great and the velcro sleeve makes it easier for the jacket to fit over a shirt without dragging up my shirt sleeves. The softshell material is great and the jacket appears to be well-constructed. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is the lack of inside pockets. If 4.5 stars was an option, that would be my grade.

This is a very stylish jacket with a clean look for everyday our casual office wear. While its fleeced lined it does little to protect from wind or cold. This is for light weight wear and Texas winter. Not for anything below 45.

This is my second Jacket of this style over the course of 15 years. They really last a long time. I still have the old jacket - I use it for outside work, the gym, knockaround, etc. And I use my new one for daily wear since it looks nicer. I am a 6' 1" woman with extra long arms so the women's styles do not fit me. While I'd love to have a more tapered look, the sleeve length of the regular fit size Large fits me best.

Great jacket, so comfortable and soft. When I put it on the first time, I exposed one sleeve under the tap water and the result was absolutely amazing, the water was just repelled by the jacket. It is definitely water and wind proof.

Versatile, lightweight, and waterproof! It's such a nice jacket and it keeps you warm. I highly recommend it!

My daughter got this for my Christmas present, zipper broke on the second time wearing it. Stitching is also coming out. Poor quality not expected from Columbia. Tbh all of the winter 24 line up is bad quality.
