I bought these last year (different color/laces than offered currently), and I am very happy with them. Still look brand new after regular wearing during winter months, easy to spot clean, fun and super stylish look IMO, VERY comfortable. Fit true to size even with wearing a nice heavy winter sock. I actually considered buying another pair this year (Glacy Explorer tall ones), but decided on another style of Sorels just to switch it up. Really impressed with the brand.

Finally a pair of snow boots that work for me! I have peripheral neuropathy, and rigid boots cause my feet to scream in agony... but not these Sorels. Once I managed to adjust the laces, they are easy to get on and off.

I love these boots.! They delivery what they promise. I wore them last weekend to a nighttime football game, pouring rain, windy and cold. My feet stayed warm and dry all night plus my significant other told me that they look really great - rare compliment, so I like them even better. You will not be disappointed with them. True size fit with a little extra room for cozy socks.

I really like these boots. I have a wide foot (8 1/2, D or EE). I ordered a 9 since these are technically not wide, it fits fine. I was also able to slip my foot in easily without struggling with the boot or laces. The tongue is attached, but not all the way to the top of the shaft like many of the snow boots. I purchased the red and like the color, it doesn't exactly go with my wardrobe, but it is so pretty, I don't care if it matches my clothes or not. there is plenty of room in the foot, so I think I can wear pretty thick socks with it. I live in Nebraska, so I'll be curious to see how warm they keep my feet once the snow hits, they don't feel like they would be that warm, but they do state they are waterproof (I'm sure as long as you don't get snow inside from the top of the boot. I'm overweight so there is a lot a space at the top of the shaft around my calf, it hits below mid-calf on my 5' frame. The boots are very comfortable and the footbed is quite flexible. Several of the other boots I tried had hard soles with no flex in them whatsoever, it was like walking in clown shoes. These did not have that issue at, the foot bent and moved with my foot and was comfortable to walk in. If you have B width feet or narrow, these boots will feel very large, there is quite a lot of room in the foot and toe box. But if you are going to be wearing thick socks with them, it shouldn't be a problem.

Love the boot. Very comfortable, stylish and warm but they do run big. Order at least half size smaller. I have another pair of Sorels that run true to size so you can't go by fit of other Sorels. Customer service was excellent and returns/exchanges very easy and affordable.

I purchased these boots when the Tivoli || sold out of my boat-like size 12. These are so warm! I put on wool socks with them(I could definitely for the first time in my life have room for another pair of socks!) and within seconds, my feet were sweating. So nice and warm! And the arch support in them(I have flat feet) is incredible! I fully decided on these from the Black Hills, SD reviewer. If West river had success, no doubt an East river gal will have a great, warm winter!

This was the perfect footwear for trekking through the city streets of Troms , Norway (200+ miles north of the arctic circle) in January. Paired with some wool socks, my feet were warm and comfy in temperatures that dropped below 10F; it felt like wearing sneakers. The fit is roomy, but it is important to be able to wiggle your toes so that your feet stay warm -- and this allowed for that. There was some ice on the sidewalks and caught myself a few times, but for the most part I managed to walk around those spots and had no problem. I'm very happy with these!

I love these boots! They are stylish but also function well in WI winters. I love that the boot comes a little higher on the calf to prevent snow from getting into my socks when stepping into and over snow banks.

As a southern girl I had no idea how to buy snow boots for my recent NYC trip. I'd never even heard of Sorels until a northern friend suggested them. I couldn't be happier. My first outing with them was an all day walking adventure. Since I have flat feet, I have to be super careful about what kind of shoes I wear. If they don't have good support, I am miserable after an hour or so. These boots carried me ALL day multiple days with tremendous comfort and warmth. Originally I thought I would sell them when I got home. I mean how often do you need snow boots in South Georgia? However, they are so comfy I'm going to keep them and wear them on those really cold winter days. It makes me laugh to think of me owning snow boots, but I couldn't be happier with the support, warmth and quality of this boot.

These are so much cuter in person! I have thick muscular calves and often times high boots are unflattering. These hit at just the right spot. I tried them on with jeggings or underneath bootcut jeans and they look great with both! Some have said theses run wider. The are not super snug but I don't mind. They are so comfortable! I got the pebble color...love how they have both black and brown in it so I can wear with either color.

I love this boot! It is very warm. Easy to get in and out of which was a big requirement for me. On top of that it is very stylish and cute. I have gotten several compliments on them. I love Sorel! Who needs Uggs.

So glad I bought these boots before it snowed! Tested them out in Denver's first storm, along with 1 degree temps. The boots are comfy, bouncy and warm. The orange laces look great under your jeans. Really nice to have Sorels in a shorter length. Not as heavy or bulky.

Love it! Soft, comfy, perfect fit...but I ordered a 1/2 size smaller based on other reviews. However, sizing was true, so I had to exchange for my normal size. Super Zappos made it super easy and my new shoes in the correct size were on there way same day.

Knew I was keeping them the moment I put weight on my foot! Need warm boots for a winter walking tour in Europe & these fit well & have great form & cushion in the sole & inner sole. And the positioning of the colorful laces breaks up the length to the boot in size 10.5 which makes them look not so big.

I ordered a size 7 in the purple/pink color, which is my normal shoe size, but it was way too big. I will not be exchanging for a different size however because these shoes made me look like a little kid. I think this is probably because of the color. But I did like that the lining was very soft and the arch support seemed nice and high, which I like. I haven't decided yet if I'm going to order the tan color in a smaller size.

I think these sorel boots are great! They are comfortable and warm and stand up to decently harsh conditions. I wear a size 6 and that is what I ordered. This allows me to wear 2 pairs of socks with them, as well. So they do run a little big. The color is muted and doesn't show dirt as easily as I would have thought. They look great with snow pants since the legs are wide and help keep the pants off the ground if they are a little long.

I tried 4 snow boots: Keen Elsa, Hi-Tec St Moritz, Sorel Snow Angel and this Sorel Glacy Shortie. The Snow Angel won in terms of warmth and fit. The Glacy is really cute but was not the best fit for me. There is a really nice thick shaped insole that unfortunately did not have enough arch for my high arch. Also, I have a very low-volume foot and a narrow ankle/heel and because the tongue of this boot is attached to the sides and there are very few criss-crosses of the laces it was hard for me to get them laced up snug enough. If you have a moderate to high volume foot and a moderate arch, this should be fantastic for you!

The boots feel big on me. Particular on my left foot. I added instep padding in the boots and they are not as comfortable as I would have thought. It causes additional pressure in my feet while standing up in them. The boots are still overall okay, just not what I thought they would be.

These boots are really cute. They are not as heavy as my old Sorel boots. They are really warm, too. One problem they have is that it feels awkward if you walk on the street, I think their bottom is meant to be for snow only.

I had great hopes for these but they are clearly not for me. Too bad! Very cute boots and lightweight. The soles are very grippy and provide better traction than the other brand I ordered. Major issue-no matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't tighten them enough, and keep them tight, to keep my foot inside the boot; heel kept sneaking up and out of the boot. Decided to send them back.

Sorel used to be a name that I associated with high quality. But the last few pairs I've ordered (and returned) have been really disappointing in overall quality. I can't really pinpoint what it is. It's just when I put them on, they feel cheap not warm and snug. When I'm shelling out that much for a winter boot, I guess I expect a little more. I want the old Sorel back!

I bought these boots to take to the South Pole, where I work for four months of the year. After wearing them daily for three weeks, they smell horrendous. The boots are super comfortable and made with high quality materials except for the linings inside. It is cheap synthetic that does not hold up to daily wear. I have never had this problem with any other shoes that I have owned, so I am pretty sure that it is the boots. The saddest part is now that I have worn them, I cannot even return them. They are incredibly warm (working outside in -45°F temperatures for hours on end - my feet were still warm), but not worth the smelly issues they have due to being made with cheap lining fabric.

I did my homework on looking for some winter boots that were soft, warm, waterproof, and decent looking. I was happy to find these so on my first day of wearing them I stepped into the revolving door where the floor was wet from the rain and I slipped and injured my wrist. The bottoms are track rubber not good on little patches of ice or a wet floor. They are scary not sure what I can do since I wore them outside. I am so disappointed.

Coldest boots I've ever owned. Granted, I live in a very frigid, very snowy climate. But these boots should stand up to cold. That's what they're for, right? I can't tell you the amount of times I've had to wear those chemical footwarmer pads in these boots if I know I will be outside for more than 3 minutes. Absolutely no insulation from the elements. I had a pair of the Sorel Cate the Great boots and they were just as cold. Might as well be wearing a sock out in the snow. I'm done with Sorel.
