Love love love the style of this boot and that it is waterproof suede! Looks awesome with skinny jeans, long wide pants, or tights and a skirt. But alas, I had to return it because the toe area is just too long and my foot kept sliding forward. If you're getting these boots, size down at lease a half size or more smaller than what you usually get.

Too tight on the arch. I wear a size 9 and even tried a 9.5 but it was still uncomfortable. Too bad, they were cute boots. I got the similar looking Timberlands and they were fantastic.

I read the reviews and ordered 1/2 size down. They fit in the length but were too narrow, so unfortunately I'll have to return them.

Fairly disappointing. These shoes are much lower in quality than they appear in the photo. In the photo they appear to walk a fine line between rugged and chic that I thought was charming. In person, however, they just look low quality. They were fairly narrow in the toe box (I have that issue with a lot of shoes) but overall they seemed comfortable.

I have a very narrow foot and this shoe was way to narrow in the toe box. I normally wear a 7.5 and this fit in the length. But it was uncomfortably narrow. I then ordered an 8 to see if this would feel any better. But the size 8 was still too narrow and then my foot was swimming in the length. Unfortunately, these had to go back. The quality of the shoe was such that it did not seem like it would give in with wear. And for comfort shoe, it was just not comfortable.

Boots are cute, but the left one was big and the right one too small. It was oddly narrow and pinched my baby toe. I had to send them back.

Too narrow! And cheap looking. Much prefer the Joan of Arc boot!

This boot is extremely narrow and heavy. I bought for upcoming Europe trip so I'm disappointed. This is the second Sorel boot I've order and I'm not a Sorel fan.

Terribly uncomfortable, I could barely get them on! I wear 6.5 to 7 & I ordered 7 but extremely narrow & made my foot look huge & long. Maybe if you have really narrow feet these shoes would work?

I've been on the hunt for a waterproof ankle boot to run between buildings at work during the wet and sloppy Seattle winter. I've already returned several pairs that haven't fit the bill upon first glance -- gotta love Zappos for their free shipping! When the Toronto Lace arrived, I thought I finally had found my shoe! Sadly, I've only had these on my feet for two hours this morning and I am SO disappointed. They seemed cute and comfy enough at home when I first tried them on (perfect height, too), that I decided to keep them. But just a little bit into my day, I'm realizing the ankles are FAR too loose compared to the tigther front section, and I can barely keep my feet in them. Moreover, I'm already getting horrible blisters up and down the front of my ankles from the awkward tongue folds. I'm not sure what to do about returning them, since I've now worn them outside. SO disappointed.

I wanted to keep these so bad! … the shoe itself was very comfortable, could have walked for hours .... but as one reviewer mentioned, the tongue part rubbed against my ankle and it was painful & uncomfortable. Too bad because it's a cute shoe; and if shoes aren't comfortable the minute you put them on, move on. I wonder if the fact that they are now made overseas is a factor.

I wanted to love these boots, I even tried 2 different sizes. However, a couple warnings that I should have heeded from other reviewers. 1. The thick tongue is folded on the inside, rather than being sewn flat, and rubs painfully when walking. 2. The toe box is ridiculously narrow, and I even have long narrow feet! 3. As noted by other reviewers, they look like cheap shoes. The glue has gotten all over the suede, most noticeably at the toe, and it looks very cheaply made. NOT the shoes! I wanted these to work...but if they were less, I would still send them back. Sorry Sorel, big 'fail' with these boots.

These are super cute and just what I was looking for style-wise to get through the sloppy Seattle winter. I work on a large corporate campus and wanted something that looked stylish, gave me a little height (I'm only 5'1") and was waterproof for running between buildings. Tried these on and home and thought they were great. Very unfortunately, only two hours into my day, I could hardly walk because the awkward tongues rubbed so badly on the front of my ankles and caused blisters, and -- as another reviewer mentioned -- I barely could keep them on due to the weird gaps around the ankle (watch the video to see what I mean). Thankfully Zappos agreed to accept my return, even though I had worn them outside. Best customer service in the business!
