I love the boots and have been wearing them nearly every day, but I was a little disappointed to realize this week that the shafts on one is about a 1/4-1/5 inch taller than the other. It might seem like a minor issue, but it's one of those things that I can't stop thinking about everytime I wear them now. For such expensive boots, it's kind of a bummer that this kind of defect passed inspection.

I love the way these boots look, but the heel was higher than I anticipated, and my foot slipped around, even when I wore different size socks. I returned them.

I was so very disappointed with this boot. I debated spending so much money and finally gave in. When they arrived, I was surprised at how small they looked in the box. I am a true size 8 and have fairly wide calves, but not so bad that I need wide width boots all of the time. These are advertised at 15.5 inch shaft. Not a chance! I couldn't even get them half way up. So disappointed, and frustrated. They went back.

I was really excited about these boots, but I think calling them a "Slimboot" is misleading. They were comfortable enough and appeared to be what I was looking for, but after trying them out, something just was not working for me. I realized that these are quite big and bulky boots and I was looking for something more fitted. I returned these and ended up spending more to get the Ariat Stantons and am so glad that I did. They are more fitted, but also more comfortable than the Sorels.

Well, I wanted to love these boots a lot, I even thought I experienced a defect so exchanged them for another pair but the same thing happened; around the toe box became delaminated and water was able to come in. I also experienced the stitching coming undone around the zipper. I love the way these look, and I love Zappos' customer service support (they will honor Sorel's warranty and give you a refund!) but these boots turned out not to meet my expectations. If I'm spending this much money I want a pair of boots that will last multiple seasons and be comfortable. These didn't do either.

They are wonderful boots but for the price I was looking for something that I could basically dress up or dress down and these do not do that for me, I am calling you for a return label today and going to order something else. Thanks.

I really wanted to love the pair I got but shortly after I got them (about a week) I noticed the rubber around the boot starting to peel away from the boot itself. This was so disappointing. I'm used to such amazing quality from Sorel. I hope they fix this issue. I will be retuning these. Other than this problem they are so comfy and cute! A definite yes if they improve the quality.

These boots look good, but they started to fall apart a few months after purchase. The seal around the sole separated from the leather, the back seem on the leather split at the heel and then the fake wood finish on the heel peeled off. This was all from normal day wear, not extreme hiking or anything! Total waste of money.

Seems like quality of soles tend to wear out fast in winter conditions. We purchased two pairs where both have damaged bottoms. One pair was only worn four times indoors and immediately had breakage of the soles. Love the style, fit, but not the quality.

These boots are so adorable. I absolutely love them. However, within 2 weeks they started to fall apart, and after 1 month of wear they are basically unwearable. They look like Ive had them for years. They are extremely poorly made. I am so disappointed as I really loved them for the 2 weeks that they stayed in one piece.

This is the most uncomfortable pair of boots I have ever purchased. They are absolutely not worth the cost. The sole is flimsy and thin especially at the front part of the shoe where it feels as if the balls of your feet are touching the cold ground.There is barely any thickness of sole at the toe box to comfort your feet for walking. I tried to put a supportive insert inside but there isn't enough room. The whole bottom of the shoe is not very stable or gives firm support. The upper part of the boot is also thin but is cute otherwise. All in all it's really just a glorified pair of rain boots. I stupidly wore them so now can't return them. A truly regrettable purchase. The only good thing I can say is they are cute and I like the suede shaft. The Sorel brand is usually a good one but the quality of this pair of boots is poor.
