The best socks I've ever had used to be a Silvertoe model that was about 70-80% polyester, 30-20% nylon, and 2-3% spandex. They discontinued them, of course. These Adidas socks are the closest I've come to a suitable replacement for them. The only big difference to me is that the Adidas socks aren't quite as thick as that old Silvertoe model. All in all, though, I'm glad to once again have socks that don't shed lint or get clammy when my feet sweat.

Got to sample these socks out for a basketball event and I must say I was impressed! The moisture wicking helped keep the insides of my shoes dry why hustling up and down the court and prevented any slipping in my shoes. I could have gone for more compression support around the middle of the foot, however. I always look for that in a basketball sock.

The socks are a bit on the thinner side. They felt great when playing basketball, but I do wish they were a bit thicker. One thing I did really like is the fact that they kept my feet dry.
