I thought that anyone who would pay this much for a pair of slippers was crazy. Gosh, was I wrong! After reading the reviews I decided that these sounded like what I need so I'd give them a try. I have been saddled with wide, flat feet since birth, and now I have a big toe bunion on one of them. I also have two hip replacements (one of which was botched and caused me to need a cane for long walks) and bad knees (for which I bought myself braces). My current house shoes were getting too snug and painful on that darned bunion. I need sturdy shoes to do what needs be be done at home, but I don't want to wear my only-semi-comfortable outside shoes around the house. I tried some other house shoes from Zappos and another source, but the soles on those felt equivalent to only wearing socks. So, I gave these a try. OMG!!! Yes, like all the reviewers said it straightened out my stride, took pressure off my inner foot, took painful pressure off the outside of my knees and made my bad hip feel better. Why oh why didn't those ortho MDs I've seen suggest this long ago? Now I don't need either the knee braces or the cane anymore! And, yes, I wear these for errands now. I have also bought myself the removable sole inserts made by Vionic to use in all my other shoes. When summer comes I am planning to see what else I can buy made by Vionic. FYI - I am female and because female wide shoes tend to be too small because of my bunion, I have resorted to buying men's shoes when necessary. I have for Thank you Zappos for having such wonderful return policies which allowed me to risk spending $100 on slippers. - which I didn't return.

I wanted a slipper that was more substantial than the women's slip-on Vionic offers, so I thought I'd try the men's version. I wear a women's 9.5 wide (most of the time), and the Men's 7 fits quite well. These are very warm, have great support, and are very comfortable. Glad I tried them!

My husband had plantar fasciitis which didn't get better until I bought these slippers. And he had even seen a podiatrist and had custom orthotics. The black suede style looks like a casual shoe so he even wore them at work! They have held up very well. he's worn them for a year and hardly show any wear and still are as comfortable as the day he first wore them. I can't say enough good things about this product. Im ordering another pair (so he can keep a pair in his office).

My husband has plantar fasciitis, and was wearing his Vionic flip flops as house shoes for years, but this winter needed something more. If he's home, he is wearing these. Even if he is not home, sometimes he is wearing them! Depending on the errand, it's a real struggle for him to change into normal shoes, he loves them so much!

I like the shoes, the heel seemed too wide on the size 11 so I decided to try the 10, but it is too short. It has good arch support though, so I am returning the 10 and will look for a heel insert to narrow the heel on the 11.

These are very nice house shoes. They are supportive and comfortable. The leather lace allows it to be fitted so the heel does not slip yet you can slip the shoe on and off easily. I found that these shoes ran very small. I am a true 11 and had to get the 12 - which fits perfectly.

Ordered those for husband and he loved them! They gave his feet the support he needed and look great. One day he forgot he had them on and wore them to the store. I am sure people never guessed they were his house shoes.

These were purchased as a gift. The recipient has plantar fasciitis in one foot; an obvious excruciatingly painful condition. The recipient is also always barefoot in the house and has a few pair of older (still new from lack of wear) typical slippers. In an attempt to elevate both of our discomforts from the condition I purchased the rather expensive slipper despite my original skepticism of all the miraculous claims. He tried them on prior to ensure a good fit and I had to wrap an empty box for Christmas. He won t take them off unless he is going outside! He only takes them off then because (even though indoor/outdoor) he doesn't want to mess them up. He even took them to another state and wore them to celebrate Christmas Eve at my family's house. Rather than the previous continuous complaints regarding all the pain and discomfort, all I hear about now is how wonderful these slippers are! The only comment, possibly negative in reference, dependent on your perception: the slippers are hard soled (required for support) which echo quite loudly throughout the house; even in carpeted areas. A possible contributing factor may be the physical walking adjustment being made as a result of the ailment itself.

They were a gift. He says they fit perfect and he loves them. They are very comfortable, warm, and look good too. (Not like the elf shoes he had, which I couldn't stand!) So my ratings will be according to my husband.

Let me preface this by saying I am a woman who bought these men's slippers. All of the Vionic slippers for women look like ones my 90 year old Nana would wear. I wanted a classic moccasin slipper but with great arch support, which is what this is. I wear a women's size 9/Europe 40 so a men's size 7 always works for me. Not so in these slippers. I would say they run about a 1/2 size small and unfortunately only come in whole sizes. I can wear the 7 but my toes are right at the edge. Other than that, they have great arch support as I have come to expect from Orthaheel/ Vionic. They appear to be well made and could be used indoors or out.

This slipper looks and feels fine, with the exception that they are too big. I need to return and get a smaller size.

Shoes seem great, but at least one size bigger than posted. Returning for one size smaller. Support looks incredible.

The shoes are a bit pricey, but after dealing with plantar fasciitis for 6 months I finally gave into the doctor suggestion of having a good supporting slipper for around the house. The instructions say just wear a few hours the first few days to get used to them. I totally agree. After the first couple days I was thinking the purchase was a mistake. However, having worn them a month now they are fine. In fact, when I put an old pair of slippers on now I can really tell they don't have any support. Between the slippers, a night brace for 3 weeks, and wearing orthotic in my Merrell Hikers, the foot feels as good as new now. It was not all the slipper, but I really believe they help with the support. I gave overall 4 stars because of price but overall happy with the slippers.

I am unhappy that Orthoheal is no longer. The women's slippers have little to no arch support so, I tried the Men's, which so have good support. However, my 9 1/2 size foot does not fit comfortably in neither the Men's 7 nor 8. So, I have returned 3 slippers to Zappos in the past 2 days (thanks to their excellent shipping!). I now must find another brand with arch support slippers for women.

Thank you Anonymous from CT. I wear woman's size 9/ Euro 40 also and would love to have this style. HELLO VIONIC women are waiting. My overall rating is because these come in Men's only.
