I've never heard of this brand - decided to order along with three other pairs of loafer styles. This comfort is amazing. I originally was sure I would return as the sole is a little 'comfort' /older person styled. I don't care! This will make grocery shopping or lunching with a friend very comfy.

I need arch support but I hate ugly shoes. These shoes are very cute. However, they are wide. I normally order an 8.5W; in this shoe, it was too wide (I never thought I would say that!) The 8.5M fit great. Now here is the warning. If you are used to stepping into a shoe and not breaking them in, this shoe will not be that one. A little mink oil to condition the seams and the edges of the shoe and you are ready to go! I also like to use the SmartWool Secret Sleuths turned upside down on the shoe insert. It feels wonderful and absorbs perspiration to keep your shoes fresh if you don t like to wear socks. I have 10 pair of Orthaheel/Vionic shoes and I wish they would get the sizing right. They do a great job on their flip flops.

I wish the shoe was a little more attractive for the work I do. Size was a little big. Overall I like the shoe. I really love Zappos and yesterday I reordered other shoes.

After trying the Vionic sandals this summer for various foot issues, I ordered the Alda loafer in 2 colors for cooler weather dressing. I got the Red Patent Crocs and the Saddle lizard. I have a narrow foot and measure a size 6. Ordered both in a size 6 and the Red Patents fit and feel great but the Saddle Lizard felt a bit short and were tight. It is a beautiful shoe and expected Vionic quality, but returning and will order the Brown Patent Crocs instead.

This shoe was nice looking just too wide. I wonder how a narrow would fit. I didn't love how my my size 10 foot looked in it enough to try again.

The shoes are comfortable and fit well, though I did buy a half size larger as other reviewers suggested. I somehow expected a hard, super-supportive footbed like the Vionic flip flops I use so often, but this shoe's support is somewhere between the hard footbed/arch support and a less supportive shoe. I like it, but I wouldn't want to walk long distances in it. Good for work.

Very comfortable shoe. I may be between sizes but I felt it stretched out after wearing it a few times. Would recommend ordering a half size down if you are between sizes.

For heel and/or foot problems, great shoes. So glad Orthaheel (excellent foot support) aligned with Vionic (some style). The shoes are attractive.

I can't tell you how disappointed I am with this pair of shoes! I have them on and they're only comfortable as long as I'm not walking!! I have several pair of Vionic shoes in my closet: three pair of Tide sandals, a pair of Mohave sandals and three pair of Arcadia Mary Janes. All of them fit perfectly so when I saw these stylish loafers, I didn't hesitate to spend the money. I ordered the same size I've ordered before, 9W, but gosh, what a huge difference these are and did I mention, how DISAPPOINTING I am that I can't walk in them??? They'll be sent back, for sure. That said, I'm willing to give Vionic a second chance so I've already ordered a second pair, this time in 9.5 W and I really do hope they fit. This shoe is so attractive but clearly, the sizing isn't what it says it is. I scoured the web looking for reviews before writing my own. I found several that stated the sizing was off for them too. Good thing Zappos has a 1-day free shipping policy for VIPs because it's worth it to try again. I sure hope the next pair fits; stay tuned!

I was disappointed in the sizing, I am looking for stylish shoes that can be worn without orthotics. While they fit the bill visually, they were too large. When attempting to reorder they were no longer in stock. I will be returning them.

Way too big! But a little better looking than I expected. This is my first try with Vionic...

Just love the color and style but it just doesn't fit like there sandals of which I have 10 pair and several pair of running shoes as well. The toe box is narrow although it is wide enough at the ball of your foot.

These are true to size, well cushioned, and decent looking but not as well made as I expected. They have reasonable support, but they would not be good for a lot of walking. Will be fine for light shopping and casual wear. I only rated them 3 stars because I expected better quality looks, leather and support for the brand and price.

I wish that these came in a WW width. I think they would have been perfect. But alas. Even in the wide width, I couldn't even get my foot inside. At all. Cute shoe. Seems well made. Amazing foot bed. But they are not for WW sized feet.

I normally wear a large 8.5 or short 9. I wear 8 in all the Vionic sandals. Ordered 8.5 too small. Ordered 9. Right big toe rams the front of the shoe. The rest is feeling big so I'm not going up to 9.5. These certainly are a good idea but Vionic needs to get it's sizing down. If it fits they are cute. Very round toe. Mid shoe seems flabby. If the front of your foot is wide, the sides will gap.

As mentioned in previous reviews, the chain across the top makes this shoe feel more narrow - it is very unforgiving. I also ordered this in the pewter color, which looks great and would go with everything, but again, it is more narrow than it should be - the chain hurts.

This is a great-looking shoe and so comfortable. But I have to agree with those other reviewers who said that the sides buckle out and don't fit close to the foot. What a shame...they have to go back.

While this shoe looks nice, it is not comfortable to wear. I would get a lot of pinching on the back of my heel that would give me blisters. Not pleased for the price you're are paying for it.

Vionics sizing is ALL over the place. Every pair of shoes fits completely differently. These have a fairly soft sole but a stiff insole with a bit of arch support. I guess I'll stick w/Vionic slippers and flip flops since the flats are not so great.

I ordered a wide and wished I hadn't. I would like to try the same shoe in a medium but unfortunately they are not available. I went with another style...in a medium.

I have the sandals in wide and love them, but this loafer in the wide width is not wide at all. Tried in the pewter and black and they will both have to go back. Too bad because they do have great arch support.
